Britain's Thickest Council Leader - The Result!

DUE TO AN ONGOING LEGAL DISPUTE A SATIRICAL, LAMPOONING, REFERENCE TO DARREN COOPER HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY REDACTED.

Despite extensive views of this blog there were no other candidates nominated in The Skidder's national competition to find Britain's Thickest Council Leader and so the prestigious award for 2015 goes to the sole contender, Labour Sandwell's laughable "leader", Darren "The Xxxxxxxxxxx" Cooper! [lampooning name temporarily redacted].

There will be a small AWARDS CEREMONY in Freeth Street outside SMBC's HQ "The Kremlin" at 1pm on Friday 10th April and please do come along. Clearly we hope Cllr Cooper will also attend to accept this accolade in person!

Friend of the Trolls - Darren Cooper

The Xxxxxxxxxxx [lampooning name for Cooper temporarily redacted] uses Twitter to vent his spleen against all and sundry. The under-the-thumb (but highly-paid) officers of Sandwell (a one-party state with 70 Labour Councillors out of 72 and near the bottom of virtually every performance table going) let him get away with this by claiming that his Twitter account is purely personal to him. Recently he has been trying to clean up his output but, purely coincidentally and at precisely the same time, a whole host of troll accounts have risen up to attack his preferred targets. Cooper was following one of the trolls before it started to Tweet and he has been actively following and specifically engaging with most of the rest of them ever since.

4 And Twitter have finally SUSPENDED the obvious @kingsnortonlady troll account which Cooper was actively engaging with (just as well he is the CHAIR of the West Midlands Police and Crime Panel eh Readers!)

The oafish Cooper did have a little local difficulty with Twitter when he published a covertly obtained photo of one of his opponents and his account was suspended - although he got away scot free with doing exactly the same thing to me:

I am sure you will agree that the thuggish Cooper is a very worthy winner of the award and I hope you can attend the awards ceremony on Friday 10th!
