This blog repeatedly warned that it was going to be a Herculean task to appoint talented senior employees into Jan Britton's bent paid service. Why would high-flyers want to risk their careers to work with a pathetic joke like Britton and also, because of the Labour Dictatorship, have to take orders from imbecilic Councillors like the tyrannical Steve "Squealing" Eling and morons like "Inane" Elaine Costigan - to name but two.
We have seen that Eling and Britton's top [sic] recruits were contoversial Sandwell Council retreads like Surjit Tour and "Dr" Alison Knight "lol"!
Thus the comrades and the nasty smear who ran the Council were cock a hoop when they appointed Ms Amy Harhoff as Director of Regeneration and Growth - surely the most corrupt section of the bent Council prior to her arrival. It was all "Amy this" and "Amy that". She even got to operate the slide projector at Cabinet meetings which have turned into ludicrous propaganda extraganzas for the failing "socialists"!!!!
Whilst there is plenty of comment in the ranks about why she has gone, it seems to have come as a big shock to the current leadership. She has departed for County Durham. Tammy Stokes has taken the position on an interim basis.
"Amy" only joined in May, 2018. Maybe as an outsider she was quickly able to see what a sh*tshow Sandwell is after years of the feeble groveller Jan Britton, who was bummed out of his position without a penny above what he was contractually entitled do - and partly, as this blog has shown, due to his attempts to "manage" the evidence in my "c*cksucker" trial and his subsequent false evidence at Court (* link below) which, if it is humanly possible, brought the benighted Borough into even greater disrepute!
AND NOW news reaches The Skidder that ANOTHER director is currenly suspended/on gardening leave whilst there is, what has been described as, a "David Stevens-level" investigation. Stevens is, of course, Britton's replacement whose own position has been called into question by the highly unusual circumstances of his appointment and his outright refusal to say whether he has had a separate private business with his also rapidly-promoted sidekick Stuart Lackenby (blogs passim and see legal notice below.)
The fact that everything has stopped in the midst of the current crisis to investigate all this smacks of either gross negligence in the allocation of vital resources or something very serious. It never rains but it pours in Labour Sadders!
In the meantime no response from the Leader whether she is actually in Sandwell or in her second home on Herefordshire. Also the Council are refusing to say how many employees are not in work at the moment.
Whilst people are not at OCH the cynical "socialists" have taken the chance to crack on with the renovations - presumably cynical Labour not giving a toss about the health of the workmen. Various contractors have been working on site including Overbury and Lift and Engineering Services Limited.
Even worse, the work has continued at the Commonwealth Games paddling pool site. Because the comrades didn't have any sort of plan for this multi-million pound fiasco everything has been "back of an envelope" and they are desperately short of time to complete the job for 2022. Red Yvonne Davies publicly claimed initially that the decision was down to the contractors, Tory donors Wates Construction. When challenged on this she changed tack and publicly claimed that the Tory Government were pushing the job on as it was of national "strategic importance". Not only is this total b*llocks I am checking this out as I think it is also a serious lie. Red Yvonne has been unable to produce any proof of this and so I have contacted the Government.
Meanwhile Lendlease, the contractors on the athletes' village in Brum have stopped work and the start of the work on the Stadium is likely to be postponed. The whole thing is a financial disaster and Birmingham City Council are now sh*tting themselves at the ever-rising cost of this Z-list event.
Given that the Black Country is a Covid-19 blackspot many folk The Skidder has spoken to think the attitude of Red Yvonne and Wates in forcing the workers on amounts to criminal negligence. Will they get away with it? We shall see!
AND FINALLY...
The deluded dimwits in The Labour Group have hit on the idea "lol" that people are going to want to come glamping (posh camping) in sh*thole Sadders for the Games. Here is the first image of what the tents will look like......
