Jan Britton - "Winter Storage"!

Many right-thinking people wonder whether Jan Britton has been in hibernation for the last few years. The head of the bent paid service in stinking Sandwell apparently claims that he was oblivious to the fraud, incompetence, cronyism and corruption that has beset the Borough throughout his reign. Meanwhile he has been on a generous pay and pension package currently just shy of £160,000 per annum plus he gets paid extra for overseeing the elections.

We saw recently that despite his numerous apparent failures he did manage to ease his own son in as an intern at the corrupt Council for a few months. For a long-time we have known that he has had at least one of his cars serviced/repaired at the Council's facility at Waterfall Lane. But the liar "leader" of the rotten Borough, Steve "Squealing" Eling (currently suspended by the Labour Party but trying to hang onto his position and money) assured me that this service was available to all staff and this generated income for the dire Council. And, yes, Jan pays in full for all the work done on his vehicle says Squealing.

As an aside, when Marshall was in charge of leisure ("lol") he arranged for a giant fibreglass model of The Milkman's rectum to be built in Sandwell Valley. Here he is looking for the first volunteer to crawl up it! (For the benefit of WMP this is intended as satire.....)

Back in 2015 there was great upset amongst Britton's cowering staff when they were forced to fork out for parking whilst at work. The Wolvo C*cksuckers - aka The Express and Star - quoted Mr Tony Barnsley, a Unison Union "rep"apparently, saying that up to a thousand staff would have to shell out £4 a day. Staff were fuming at the time and many phoned The Skidder in disgust.

Mind you, if I lived next door to, er, Jan Britton like, er, Unison "rep" Tony Barnsley I maybe wouldn't want my neighbour's drive littered with cars. Perhaps this explains this photo of two of Britton's vehicles on Council premises at Waterfall Lane! SMBC staff say that the grey Mitsubishi  [Addendum - a sharp-eyed reader has pointed out that this vehicle is, in fact, an Isuzu Trooper] was in for repair but the black Toyota (described once by Britton as his "pride and joy" which doesn't say much for his family) but that the black Toyota is in for "winter storage"!

There, I bet the staff who are now having to pay for parking are feeling a whole lot better now!

No doubt Britton will inform Skidder readers of the fee he is paying for "winter storage" of his beloved motor. And I am assuming that unless Waterfall Lane depot is going to expand rapidly this is most definitely NOT a service available to all staff who own two or more motors "lol"! Once again Sandwell drones - you have been p*ssed upon!

I have put in a Freedom of Information (FOI) request which is set out below:

I am informed by Cllr Eling that all staff are permitted to have their vehicles maintained/repaired at the Council's facilities at Waterfall Lane which he says is a way of the garage "earning extra income":

Please state:

1   Is there a limit on the number of vehicles per staff member that is permitted for this scheme?

2    What is the hourly rate applied for mechanical work on staff vehicles and is VAT chargeable thereon?

3   How many vehicles have been repaired/maintained via this scheme for municipal year 2017/2018 and so far in municipal year 2018/2019?

4    What profit has been generated from this income generating scheme and how was this calculated? Where is the figure particularised in public council documents and/or the annual accounts?

Readers - could you please take a minute to read the new legal notice below. Thanks y'all!
