Bescot Planning Application
As predicted by just about everyone Network Rail have cynically put in their planning application for the concrete sleeper works during peak holiday season when many objectors will be away. Please contact the campaign group if you have not yet done so - they have their own "letterboxes" dotted around to co-ordinate planning objections and make sure that Sandwell Council don't actually "lose" them. The best way of contacting the objectors is via the Facebook Group - "The People of Wednesbury Say No to Network Rail".
Remember that this does not just affect people who live by the Bescot sidings and on the Yew Tree as lorries will be thundering up through West Bromwich and Stone Cross to deliver the materials.

Sh*t Of The Week
Only one contestant for this dubious honour - Tom Watson MP. This blog has heavily criticised this London-based bully for hounding people like Leon Brittan to his death with false accusations of the vilest kind. This credulous moron saw the opportunity to promote himself and gave the oxygen of publicity to evil paedo fantasist Carl Beech. Needless to say Watson has failed to offer proper apologies to the widows and others who suffered through his obnoxious conduct but that is the measure of this scumbag.
Watson has even tried to excuse his actions but can't seem to find a consistent story. And local Labour Councillor Jo Hadley was able to tell the excellent Skwawbox website how he took the floor at her birthday party as long ago as 2012 to brag about how he, as the self-appointed Nonce-Finder General, was going to smash the mythical paedo ring and that he was dealing with police officers "at the highest level":

Another Labour activist has written to The Skidder alleging that Watson was also bragging about all this in 2013.
As we have seen so many times with the pathetic mewling Sandwell "Socialists" (if the metroplolitan Watson can be included in that category) they do love to play the "victim". Incredibly the man formerly known as "Ten Bellies" is pissing in his pants about George Galloway proposing to stand against him. The bloke who cannot pass a colleague's back without plunging a knife into it accuses GG of having "sown division, hatred and distrust". Look in the mirror Watson!
Tommy wept, "Mr Galloway seeks to silence me but I won't be cowed." (Interestingly it is being claimed that Watson is using his influence within the GMB Union in their continuing attempt to bankrupt me and throw me and my wife out of our house - any info on this very welcome.)
Despite being Deputy Leader of the Labour Party and having several millionaire backers - JK Rowling of Harry Potter fame, Derek Webb, Max Mosley etc - he is, unbelievably asking for crowdfunding to fight his own seat! Please give generously to this vile creature!
Regular readers will know that this man - deeply involved in the parliamentary expenses scandal and still refusing to say whether he paid capital gains tax on his London flat back in the day - doesn't even have to pay for his Glastonbury Tickets any more. This year the Performing Rights Society stumped up £776.47 for his annual jolly. And then he wants to screw YOU for cash too!
The same activist mentioned above also sent me these allegations which I sent to Watters yesterday. He has not replied as yet but I will keep you posted if he does so:
"A Labour Party activist stated that he was intending to move away from the area but was told by a WM Labour official “oh don’t do that. Stay here as Darren Cooper will get you a job with the Council. Go and see him tomorrow,”
The activist asked, “but surely there would have to be an interview process and other candidates?”
The Labour official said, “oh no lad. That will be dealt with. You would get it, It isn’t an existing post. We’ll create one. Tom doesn’t want you to leave the constituency. You’re good at leafleting and door-knocking. Tom’s worried about the Ukip vote here you see.”
The activist saw Cooper who offered him a job as a “Community Engagement Officer”. He was told [by Cooper] the main work would be “outreach projects” to canvass for Labour in West Bromwich East full-time! The person still decided to move away."
And:
"At the 2017 election Watson ordered activists back from Walsall North and Stoke South to work in West Bromwich East because he did not want a majority for himself of less that 7,000."
Sarah James
Within vast swathes of the Labour Party, Watson is as popular as a turd in a swimming pool but a number of the folk in West Bromwich East CLP are still happy to associate with him. Simon "The Sandwell Slasher" Hackett even appears in the notorious crowdfunding photo! And my friend Sarah James's upward progress continues.
At least a year ago a senior local Labour woman (and no, it wasn't the new Leader) told be that Sarah would soon ditch husband Dazza and so it has come to pass. There are some very odd stories floating about regarding his housing arrangements. He is now living in a block of flats in Wednesbury where the couple's flash £275 per month car is often parked outside! All very odd.....
But Sarah continues to be lionised by the GMB Union and - drum-roll please - she has now been promoted to Vice-Chair of WBE CLP no less. What next I wonder?
Jan Britton
This joker may have been booted out of SMBC without a pay-off but he has, incredibly, walked straight into another local government job. There should be some good stuff coming out about him real soon...........
In the meantime, folks will remember that bent West Midlands Police (WMP) permitted Cooper, Eling and Britton to halt an ongoing fraud investigation by instructing a firm of solicitors, Wragge's, to prepare what turned out to be a useless report. Britton knew Wragge and Co and gave then a £100,000 contract without bothering to put it out to tender. When they came back for more he appears to have unilaterally agreed to give them another £87,000 of
your money.
Towards the end of the exercise the lead Solicitor for Wragge's (who has subsequently left) made a racist comment about an Asian councillor. He - Mr Mark Greenburgh - stated that it was not surprising a member of the Councillor's family was disabled because of "in-breeding". Britton alleges that he then had to instruct a QC at stunning enormous cost to the taxpayer because of this although as this blog has shown there were actually other factors at play before the report was released - notably Squealing Eling's desire to shaft some of his enemies.
But none of these people have any shame whatsoever and look who cropped up on Twitter congratulating the man who was such a disaster for Sandwell:
Brandhall Golf Course
This blog referred to a recent incident when a SMBC employee told staff at Brandhall that they should look for another job as the site is to be sold for housing. It is now alleged that the employee was a very senior one and this is all rather strange as I was under the impression that the golf course was run my the Leisure Trust. I am sure the GMB will be on the case very soon!
The recent Playing Pitch Strategy (PPS) says:
"Brandhall Golf Course has been identified as unsustainable , given the existing level of membership and participation. Prior to any decision regarding the future of Brandhall Golf Course, it is recommended that a further options appraisal is undertaken, to provide future management and investment options for the site, as well as undertaking more detailed supply and demand analysis."
If the rumour of the very senior employee saying the decision has been made then already the new regime has adopted old bad practices - readers will know, for example, that the so-called "options appraisal" for The Public was undertaken AFTER the closure of the building was announced!
Let us hope the new regime will put a stop to this nonsense and come clean. Furthermore this is potentially the loss of yet more green space in heavily-urbanised Sadders and makes the retention of Lion Farm Fields all the more necessary given that the comrades are currently destroying Londonderry Fields....
Lion Farm Fields
The Skidder recently established that SMBC and the Birmingham FA have been in discussion about the destruction of the Fields since, at least, November, 2017 without bothering to tell the principal users of the Fields, the Warley League. The League are not averse to moving off Lion Farm if suitable pitches on that side of the Borough are found and Sandwell have gone into overdrive to find some sites so that they can then try and flog the Fields to the developer. But whether the League goes or not is irrelevant to the campaign to stop the bent development since it is still a vital green lung for Lion Farm and must be retained. And although the infamous "hamburger" island at Birchley is promised the traffic implications of this daft scheme appear to be insurmountable. We fight on comrades! (See further below).
Tribunal Cases
Despite the promise from the new regime that there would be a new approach to Freedom of Information Sandwell Labour are now fighting six - yes six - tribunal cases to hide information from YOU!
The first two are to be heard in Birmingham on Tuesday 10th September and if anyone wishes to come along and offer support to The Skidder they will be very welcome indeed (Though please keep checking via 07470 624207 that the hearings are actually proceeding).
The hearings are close to New Street Station at Tribunals Service - Tax (although they are not tax cases), Centre City Tower (13th Floor Reception), 5-7 Hill Street, Birmingham B5 4UU.
Unfortunately I can't tell you what the morning hearing is about save to say that it concerns "Councillor X". Even though this all relates to an alleged cover-up by SMBC they successfully obtained an order barring me from discussing the case before the hearing!!!! So much for Freedom of Information lol! (As it happens it should be "explosive" and blow-up in Sandwell's face. Watch this space....)
The second hearing is about Lion Farm. Once again we are hearing about openness and so-called consultation by the developer but huge swathes of information are missing from my original request. On the same subject Sandwell have confirmed to me that there IS a current pre-planning application in. A lot of this should NOT be confidential and I wrote to Sadders on 30th July asking to go and see it next week. I was promised a reply from the senior planning officer but have heard nothing further as yet.
West Midlands Police (WMP)
There are three main problems with the local cops. Firstly there is the very highly level corruption where very senior officers are covering-up very serious crime relating to drugs, money-laundering and prostitution. The only possible explanation for this is that at least one very senior officer is on the take.
The second problem is the incessant "cop-sucking" of the Council. We have seen in this blog that at least one senior employee was having sex with a senior WMP officer. Another was enjoying golf and spa weekends with top cops. At every level there was wholly inappropriate contact and the Police were not prepared to contemplate wrongdoing by their chums. Indeed they took to social media to praise the bent Council at every tick and turn. Thus the fraud and corruption of the Cooper/Eling/Britton era went un-checked. Their pals asked them to harass me and they jumped at the opportunity with two female detectives even trying to fit me up in front of a solicitor and the rush to inappropriately charge me in respect of the infamous "c*cksucker" incident.
And still it goes on. Two very senior officers of WMP - Chief Superintendent xxxxxxx and Chief Inspector xxxxxx are desperately trying to stop an investigation into one former and one current employee of SMBC (the latter being known to them also in respect of other matters.) It now transpires that Sandwell Council itself found incriminating evidence against the two individuals and even THEY referred this to the Police! But bent WMP didn't bother to tell me of this important further information! On 12th July, 2019 I hand-delivered a letter to WMP HQ demanding to know why they had covered this information up and demanding that they take action given the new evidence. As yet they have failed to respond.....
I am not anti-Police (I am just anti-bent cops) and they have a very difficult job to do. They have to deal with people who fall through the net one way or another. But their absurd love-in with a deeply corrupt council ends up with something as absolutely sick as this - where West Brom Cops brag about making people homeless and PC Harris holds up a banner as if this small small social disaster and failure by "stakeholder agencies" is something to be proud of. No, no, no! This is sh*t and must be stopped.
A Sandwell Tech Triumph!
Sandwell maybe a ghastly sh*thole but that doesn't stop the comtrades bragging about how "great" it is. The world is moving rapidly to autonomous vehicles ie ones that drive themselves, but it seems that Sandwell has a first at last! A £10,000 tractor managed to drive itself out of a council depot. But being Sandwell there had to be a f*ck up and the artificial intelligence failed so that the tractor couldn't drive itself back home lol!
Of course, this blog has frequently discussed theft etc in Parks Department and mysteries which the bent cops couldn't be bothered to investigate as when a Mr Arnold of Tipton (a close friend of Derek Rowley) was openly advertising council-owned property for sale! A number of scams were going on throughout the Jan Britton era but no-one noticed/cared. Two names are constantly mentioned in respect of the missing machine and are known to the cops but they couldn't make a case. They were probably too busy reading this blog or otherwise pratting about.
As above - bent coppers won't investigate their pals and it is more important that they reach the requisite number of tweets per day than nick villains.
I have pointed out that Smethwick must be a very low crime area as the local blues are the Sandwell Twitterers par excellence and quite why the taxpayer pays for PCSO's to help fight crime is a mystery since they appear to be taking the p*ss.
I have already featured that apparently notorious crime syndicate the Amaan Group, who are fronted by a bunch of seemingly very jolly women of a certain age. If WMP are to be believed, however, they must all be as thick as short planks since they have to have "crime prevention advice" constantly repeated to them. Thus:
06/06/18 - PCSO Bhatti accompanies the group on a walk in Victoria Park;
23/01/19 - PCSO Randhawa joins them for yoga and exercises;
05/06/19 - PCSO Bhatti reprises the Victoria Park walk but with PCSO Evans in tow;
31/07/19 - Doubling-up again PCSO's Bhatti and Randhawa go to offer the group more crime prevention advice (for the fourth time in just over a year) and end up celebrating a 60th Birthday.
