Zorro Hughes Latest - Can this buffoon be any more ludicrous?

The cowardly yet aggressive Cllr Peter "Zorro" Hughes (aka "Alberich") at bent Labour Sandwell Council has featured in this blog quite a bit recently despite the fact that he is a pathetic joke. But he seems determined to court even more adverse publicity!

Of course, he tried a stunt with fellow Wednesbury Labour horrors, Elaine Costigan and Luke Giles, to concrete over Goldicroft Park in Wednesbury before local residents realised what these ***** were up to, and stopped their crazed plan. Then Alberich had the temerity to stand for the already tarnished office of Sandwell Mayor as if he has any of the qualities to fulfil that role with any sort of grace and dignity. Happily his tilt at the Mace failed.

Then he was caught whining at a full Council meeting about a member of the public (me) allegedly interrupting meetings whilst his own phone went off - you can watch the hilarious footage and suffer a little of what this droning moron has visited on councillors and the public for many years via the link below. It's excruciating but well worth the view, and watch the bottom left-hand corner for the reaction of Cllr Piper at the critical moment!

Regular readers will know that Labour have brought the benighted Borough to its knees and the Government has been forced to put Sandwell into special measures to try to stop Labour's corruption, cronyism and incompetence. Since 2017 (incredibly) the Monitoring Officer has been at the centre of Labour's shaming degringolade. Despite the collapse of governance, Surjit Tour, for it is he, has not seen fit to resign. In our sister blog we are preparing a detailed dossier of his subversion of the Standards process (with other Sandwell solicitors) plus an extra dossier for other purposes. A well-known Labour figure confirmed what happened - Tour was not brought in to oversee lawful, independent, supervision of the disciplinary process for errant Labour councillors (his statutory role) but to "act" for them and "get them off".

Since the last election in 2021 Tour has turned his attention to bringing down the legal system relating to the Councillors' Register of Interests. He has tried to undermine the system by teaming up with sundry Councillors like Pam Randhawa to conceal information from the public because of alleged but unspecified threats of violence and intimidation!

Zorro has been on a downward trajectory (admittedly from a very low starting point) and moved from his own house into rented property. He has now moved again but, astonishingly, doesn't want local people to know his new address. Once again, Hughes and Tour have agreed this cover-up on the preposterous grounds that he too is in fear of violence and intimidation! I duly wrote to him (copying-in Tour) asking him to reply by 9 am yesterday but he has failed to respond:

I note that you have changed your address but decided to keep your new abode secret from the public.

You claim that you fear "violence and intimidation" and the current Monitoring Officer agrees with you so that there must be some evidence justifying that.

Who do you fear violence and intimidation from and what history of this has there been to date? Have you reported any alleged incidents to West Midlands Police and, if not, why not?

Please reply by 9 am Friday, 29th April."

This appears to be yet another example of Zorro's feeble attempts at self-aggrandisement - unless there is something about ownership of the new property he doesn't want us to find out about! In any event, this is two fingers up, once again, to the folk of Wednesbury and Sandwell.

Labour's pathetic boasts

The folk of Sandwell now have to pay huge sums on top of bent Labour's maximum Council tax increase for two years of the Government Commissioners, thanks to years of corruption. But still Carmichael and others brag about what a great job they are doing!!!! Not according to Google ratings they aren't! I hazard to put this picture up since Dim Kez and the corrupt comrades are bound to get their cronies to spend hours on the internet praising Sadders to the skies so as to alter the score - but here goes:

But what of the security of The Skidder?

Forget the likes of Randhawa and Alberich. There is one person who has sustained trolling on an industrial scale, death threats, threats of arson and violence, harassment, SLAPP litigation, and actual violence. Yes folks, the Skidder has suffered all this from Labour, their cronies and West Midlands Police (but MY address is publicly available, and shown below!) Given the aggro I may well face at the count on Thursday I have written to Chief Superintendent Green of Sandwell Police and the Returning Officer (another pay day for Kim Bromley-Derry - kerching!). I'll keep you posted as ever!

"Election Count - Thursday 5th May, 2022 - My Security

I am attending the election count in Tipton next Thursday.

On TWO occasions when I have attended the Count I have been verbally threatened and harassed INSIDE the actual counting hall.

In 2017 I was threatened with violence and otherwise abused by former Council Leader, Steve Eling and by Pam Eling, his wife (my blog of 10th June, 2017 “Out for the Count” refers). It was particularly distressing that this incident occurred just feet away from two WMP officers who heard and saw it all but did absolutely nothing.

At the 2021 count I was verbally abused by the current Leader of the Council, Kerrie Carmichael and her screaming daughter - again, inside the Counting Hall.

It is unfortunate that certain councillors and their families cannot control themselves. If this conduct happened outside, then these people could be held to account and face appropriate public order or other charges. It is ironic that they can get away with it in the formal surroundings of a democratic election count. This is partly because they know I cannot film or record their behaviour inside the counting hall, and so protect myself. They also know that any SMBC security staff will side with them to cause problems for me, as has happened before, of course at OCH.

You will also be aware that I was assaulted by Cllr Steve Melia recently and that he pleaded guilty to the offence at Dudley Magistrates’ Court. He has shown no remorse despite his guilty plea. I was also threatened on the street in Oldbury last week by someone claiming to be one of his “supporters”.

Given the pre-history, can I please ask you to undertake a risk-assessment regarding my security at the Count and to take appropriate steps to ensure my personal safety."

No Response from Labour Liar, Parbinder Kaur

Regular readers will know that Parbinder Kaur was elected as a Labour Councillor last year. She immediately lied on her Register of Interests by failing to mention a second home on the Yew Tree.

Yesterday at her other, Smethwick, address she had a sign in her window advertising a room to rent in Panjabi and expressing a preference for a vegetarian tenant (see picture below - part of the two phone numbers has been blocked out by me).

I sent the following email to her asking her to respond by 4 pm today. She has not.

Dear Cllr,

THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION - PRESS ENQUIRY

As you are aware I have made a standards complaint about your failure to register your (2nd) Yew Tree property.

It has come to my attention that both of your properties appear to have, or to recently have had, tenants of one sort or another.

When you were caught out lying about your property interests you amended your Register of Interests on 3rd March, 2022 but in the section regarding financial gain you have not mentioned rental income. Why not?

Have you declared property rental receipts to HMRC?

Who pays the Council tax on your two properties? Do you receive a single person discount in respect of either property despite the property rentals?

Do you actually live in either of the two properties. If not, where do you live?

You are currently advertising a room at the Smethwick house. The advert is in Panjabi and so appears to discriminate against a large section of people? You also specify a preference for vegetarians. Do you agree that your advert is discriminatory?

You provided 2 phone numbers for would-be tenants. One is your Council phone funded by us taxpayers. Do you think it is appropriate to use your official phone to sort out your property business?

Please respond by 4pm tomorrow, Wednesday.

This is an extraordinary situation as is the fact that this inexperienced Councillor stood for the position of Mayor of Sandwell just a short time ago when facing a standards investigation in respect of her lie!

I am now making enquiries with the relevant authorities.

Addendum - 16th May, 2022

There has still been no response from Cllr Kaur. In the circumstances I have, today, added a further complaint to the existing one:

"Additional Complaint - Cllr Parbinder Kaur

In my initial complaint concerning this Labour Councillor, dated 2nd March, 2022, I disclosed that she had concealed details of property ownership within the Borough of Sandwell.

It has now come to my attention that Cllr Kaur has also made a false declaration in respect of her business interests in Part A, Paragraph 1 of her Register of Interests Entry despite having amended it as recently as 3rd March, 2022.

It is now clear that this Cllr is also in the business of property rental for profit or gain. Some of the evidence available is shown at:

For the reasons set out in the original section of this Complaint, Cllr Kaur is in breach of the Code of Conduct.

Bob "Seig Heil" Piper's "Apocryphal" Lie!

In the bad old days of Cooper and Eling, Sandwell Labour lied with total impunity. As this blog and local activists began to catch this scum out, they brought in Surjit Tour as head of legal [sic] in the bent paid service, and began to institutionalise the corruption and deceit. The necessity for this was apparent when Conservative MP's and Councillors were elected and also began to question the vile dictatorship.

Thus the new Labour "leader", Kerrie "Dim Kez" Carmichael, felt able to lie twice to the full Council (and the public) within MINUTES of her coronation! She will stick to Tour like sh*t to a blanket but, happily, the new Commissioners, sent in for two years to put a stop to Labour's corruption, cronyism and incompetence, have the specific power to sack him.

When you hang around Oldbury Council House listening to lie after lie, and exaggeration after exaggeration, you get to know the whiff of Labour bullsh*t. Thus my nostrils were twitching at the last Cabinet by an absurd and economically illiterate exchange between Bob Piper and Cllr Mabena, who was there to provide a fig leaf of "scrutiny". As you will see below, when the scrutineers are so thick how can they possibly hold Dim Kez and Co to account? But then that's the idea.

Item 8 on the Agenda dealt with Labour's disastrous "Oracle" (aka "Orifice") software fiasco. Incredibly, the rabidly anti-Israel, Corbynite, Piper is now in the Cabinet and he presented (on behalf of the absent Crompton) a request to authorise yet more being thrown at "Orifice".

The Report for the meeting was prepared by Simone Hines, the section 151 Finance Officer, and the Head of Finance, Rebecca Maher (in true Sandwell-style, believed to be the sister of one of the solicitors involved in the McNally debacle which cost taxpayers over £100,000. Not much Finance Department oversight there!). Hines & Maher blamed "the pandemic" for a disastrous roll-out of a new "cloud-based" software system and Piper was quick to repeat this to the Cabinet and the people of Sandwell. But this was a shocking spin since Grant Thornton had already reported publicly on the whole Labour disaster. You can read further details on the multi-million pound fiasco via the following link:

This is not the place for a discussion on economics but there is a popular misconception that automation/robotics equates with an increase in unemployment. Whilst technological progress may cause some job losses, it has (at least in the past) generally led to an expansion of the economy. A classic case was the end of large numbers of young women (and it was mostly women) who worked as telephone switchboard operators. Tech got rid of thousands of this type of job but, as a sector, telecoms grew exponentially.

But "hard-left" fanatics like Piper want to see hordes of men scything the fields at harvest, swinging picks miles underground to chip out coal and thousands wielding spanners on car production lines (when not on strike) - all whilst lustily singing the 'Internationale'.

But the "scrutineer" Cllr Thabiso Mabena turns out to be even thicker than Piper (who is particularly dangerous as he thinks he is clever.)

[Incidentally, Mabena is still refusing to say why he mysteriously withdrew his application for a Sandwell taxi licence.]

But this moron was clearly unaware that the Oracle contract had already been agreed in, er, 2019 and the agenda item was simply caused by Labour's disastrous mishandling of the procurement (see link above). This guy didn't have a bloody clue what was going on and made the following, astonishing, comment:

"Actually this is not a question but something to put into consideration in future in relation with the way we rely on software. I know it is [indecipherable] software which according to my perspective is a threat to jobs within the council and if we continue on this trend whereby software takes over jobs that were previously done by humans it means in the next 10 years half of the current Council staff will be gone and it's our duty to protect those jobs."

[Of course, this blog and other activists have been calling for the bent paid service to be severely pruned back and we hope the Commissioners will oversee this process!]

If the absurdity of this comment was not bad enough I listened with incredulity to "Seig Heil's" response - remember at an official Cabinet meeting:

"A long time ago I remember a bloke called Michael Edwardes who was the chief executive/managing director at British Leyland and he took the British Leyland shop stewards combine to South Africa to look at this new factory with all these robots making the cars and Derek Robinson who was the chief shop steward at the time asked him "do robots buy cars?". That's the reality. If you get rid of jobs, as you say, there are no workers, no wages coming in and nothing to purchase."

The pathetic joke Mabena actually thanked Piper for his insight - ROFLMAO!

But this story struck me as being improbable and the usual Piper b*ll*cks. Google did not assist in the matter when I tried to check the facts. And so I contacted a friend, who just happens to be Derek Robinson's daughter. She said that she had no recollection of her father visiting South Africa and opined that it is extremely unlikely he would have visited the Country whilst Nelson Mandela was still incarcerated.

[Derek was a communist and, whatever one thinks of his politics, he faced vicious campaigns against him including from MI5 and, of course, the great British "free" press.]

I duly wrote to the arrogant Abbey commie asking where he got this tale from and he admitted that it wasn't true but was an "apocryphal" yarn told in trade union circles! I wrote back thanking him for admitting he lied to the Cabinet and the public. What the f**k is going on at this corrupt Labour Council? It just gets more and more incredible.

Express and Star gives head "lol" to Labour Puppet

One of the great mysteries is why the Express and Star (aka "The Wolvo C***-Suckers") has been so slavishly pro-Sandwell labour for the whole time I have been writing this blog. Even more mysterious is why they employed the pervy misogynist, Adam Smith, despite his track record as a Premier League p*ss-head and Sandwell Labour rimmer par excellence.

Skidder Shorts #45 - Grant Thornton Shocker, Part 3

Explanatory Note:

Grant Thornton are the external auditors of bent Labour Sandwell Council and recently prepared an explosive report into some of the chain of disasters the comrades have inflicted upon the benighted Borough.

This is one of a short series of vignettes dealing with these Labour sh*tshows.

Part Three: Oracle Non-Fusion

Anyone remember the BT contract? Bent but boastful Labour Sandwell Council bragged that its tech-tie in with the telecom giant was "world-beating". But right from the off there were allegations surrounding a "missing" £15m (yes, fifteen MILLION) arising from corruption. Within a short space of time the whole thing collapsed. As ever with a Sandwell Labour contract disaster, the comrades claimed it was the other party which had failed to deliver and promised to "take action" to recover the losses. These were very substantial in the BT meltdown but, as usual, Labour were bullsh*tting and us taxpayers picked up the tab - again! (The £22m loss on the Providence Place Building - see link below for full details - was a hangover from the BT disaster.

The fact is that, as stated many times in the blog, Labour have packed the corrupt paid service with cronies and Labour Party deadbeats who are simply not capable of running an efficient operation. You would imagine that after the BT fiasco these clowns would have been more careful in contractual dealings but not a bit of it - just look at the £22m fraud surrounding the SEND taxi contracts very recently.

Bent Sandwell used software called Oracle E-Business Suite to run various administrative support systems but decided in 2019 to move to a "cloud-based" system called Oracle Fusion - the original "go-live" date being October, 2019. This was a multi-million pound deal - what could possibly go wrong ...

I have not yet researched how the contract was awarded to Oracle and whether this was subject to competitive process but bent Labour picked Oracle to provide the service and also decided an intermediary should be appointed as part of the project called Inoapps, a "platinum implementation partner to Oracle".

The "socialists" initially agreed payment on a "time and materials basis" - a recipe for an unscrupulous counterparty to drag its feet. And guess what happened? The October, 2019 launch date was postponed to April, 2020, but along came Covid in March, 2020 and the start date was again postponed to October, 2020.

It should be said here that many tech firms worked pretty much normally after the initial Covid shock and that employees in Sandwell's corrupt paid service were "working from home" - or so we were told. Thus it is difficult to understand why the go-live date has still not occurred. To be fair, it is not just a case of switching the system on, since staff need some training to master the tech, and it appears that this has been problematic with so many still not going back to work in Council offices.

And so Sandwell pottered along using the old E-business system. But in the background all was not well with, as Grant Thornton report, "ineffective engagement from across directorates and services". With things going wrong Sandwell and Inoapps switched to a fixed price for the job with Inoapps shouldering greater commercial risk. But there were "increasing tensions" between the bent paid service and Inoapps leading to an "us and them culture" in what was meant to be a joint team effort. The relationship broke down and Sandwell terminated the contact.

As ever, bent Labour boasted that it "would take the necessary steps to recover the Council's losses" from alleged breaches of contract. It also stated that it would find a new partner to replace Inoapp via the "G-Cloud procurement framework" although I cannot trace whether this "partner" has yet been found.

Meanwhile Labour raided the Covid-19 emergency fund for £650k to pay towards their incompetence together with Council reserves but, as we will see below, the tragedy continues to unfold. At the end of last year the Cabinet earmarked and EXTRA £4.3m on top of the original contract to finally get the system working. FOUR MILLION + POUNDS EXTRA!

Another problem arose due to the gross delay. Bent Labour Sandwell were still using the old Oracle system and were going to have to continue for the foreseeable future since, if it did not, the security patches would become unavailable and the software at risk from hackers etc. At the end of last year the Cabinet agreed to extend the licences. So Oracle is raking in the dosh under the old system whilst failing to implement the new one! Double bubble!

In its Value for Money Review (a major factor in the Government placing bent Labour into "special measures), Grant Thornton urged Sandwell to urgently resolve their issues with Inoapps but, as above, the comrades decided to sack them instead.

Grant Thornton urged Sandwell Labour to get a grip and get this mess sorted. And in a stinging rebuke of the way Labour has failed time and time again, urged them to "ensure for future major projects a full business case is developed and approved". You might imagine that any diligent organisation would not need to be told this, and it is a stunning indictment that the auditors had to say this.

At the time of writing the Labour fiasco continues. On 13th April, 2022 the Cabinet agreed to extend the original Oracle licences to - wait for it - 30th April, 2023! The first proposed start date was October, 2019 and so it looks like it is not envisaged that the new system will be fully operational until THREE AND A HALF YEARS after that date. Oh, and Labour agreed to pay Oracle a further £330.730 or OUR money to extend the old-system licences.

Once again, this is AT BEST, yet another example of Labour incompetence on a grand scale and it has cost taxpayers very dear.

Since 2013 I have continually exposed corruption, cronyism and incompetence by the Labour Party in Sandwell. Things have got so bad that the Government has had to intervene and put the bent Labour Council into "special measures". YOU will be paying the costs of that.

If, despite the fact that Labour have been systematically f***ing Sandwell for 48 YEARS, you still intend to vote Labour on 5th May you are a thick c*** and I would PREFER it if you don't read this blog (if, in fact, you CAN read) and that you don't engage with me or this blog.

The Sandwell Lib Dems are like a spring cuckoo. You don't hear or see them all year but a few of them pop up and make a bit of noise just before the May elections. If you were to go back through this blog to 2013 you will see a whole host of exposures on bent Labour's corruption, cronyism and incompetence but I do not recall any support from these jokers whatsoever. Major campaigns have popped up: anti-corruption, Save Londonderry Fields, Save Lion Farm Fields, clean up local cops, make the Council accountable and transparent, depose Eling, sack Jan Britton etc etc. Has Smith and his Party done ANYTHING on any of these matters - NO! There has been no community involvement by them AT ALL. Clearly the national Party thinks this strategy of intense inactivity is wonderful as they let Smith lead his troops into the barbed wire year after year. WTF?

It's actually worse, in that Smith is so rabidly anti-Tory he has deliberately refrained from criticising 48 years of Labour failure and corruption in case it helps the Conservatives! He is not unintelligent but I'm afraid he's a total w*nker and completely out of touch. You could not make it up but he even criticised the Government putting the bent Labour Council into "special measures" even though many of us on the ground - from a wide range of parties and political views - have fought for this for YEARS.

Smith himself is standing in Great Barr and Yew Tree (GBYT) not because he has a snowball's chance in hell of winning, but because he wants to stop the Tories taking the seat. He would rather see the useless Labour criminal, Steve Melia, elected than have a hardworking Tory actually try and do something in that ward!

You might think the local leader of a Party with the word "liberal" in its name might be, er, liberal but he rules the local group like a petty tyrant - at least according to a couple of members (one a former member because of Smith). He has control of the Twitter account etc. This is probably why almost EVERY recent tweet is anti-Tory. You would imagine from reading the Twitter feed that Sandwell hasn't been f***** over for 48 years by a LABOUR dictatorship. What a weirdo!

Given one Labour disaster after another in recent times - BT, The Children's Trust, Providence Place, Oracle, Sandwell Leisure Trust, the Cox Review, huge waste on the Commonwealth Games and much, much, more - one might think the Liberals would have been out there on the streets drumming up support and actually trying to shield local people from Labour's corruption. But not a bit of it. Even the 5-year old Twitter account has only 440 followers and a very high percentage of them - 90%+ - are from outside Sadders. There are virtually no locals at all.

Smith managed to scrape together just 10 candidates last May and despite Labour's collapse into "special measures" he has only managed to find 9 this year! How crap is that?

One candidate last year complained bitterly to The Skidder about the despotic Smith. Although most candidates stood as "Liberal Democrats" (which is what they were) Smith mysteriously renamed himself and another candidate as standing for the "Liberal Democrat Focus Team". The other candidate said he had no knowledge of this until it appeared on the Notice of Poll and that he was deeply embarrassed when people were asking him what the "focus team" was, and he had no idea!

A correspondent recently recounted how Smith was moaning about this blog to anyone who would listen. He resented this blog's local readership. Well matey, get off your arse and do a tenth of the work I have done for 9 years and you might find people actually appreciate your efforts! What a twonk ...

As above, such is Smith's contempt for GBYT residents that he wants to try and ensure the crim Melia wins. The guy has been a disaster for the Ward and told the Court recently, when he was cravenly begging for leniency, that his political career was over. Smith will be delighted to foist a thick, ignorant, lazy, criminal scumbag on the ward - one who will earn between £49,308 and £80,000 if local folk are stupid enough to vote for him. You see, crime CAN pay unless you vote for Connor Jones, the Conservative Candidate, and spoil this obscene game.

Voting for this 8 of this lot is a waste of time as none of them has a chance and they have all been completely anonymous until they suddenly want your vote. The one exception is Clive Heywood in Langley Ward.

I have got to spend some time with the footie-mad Clive due to his work with the excellent Save Brandhall Green Space campaign. He is a good bloke - intelligent and VERY hard-working - and not one to take any nonsense from the hapless Smith. I have no doubt he will be an excellent, diligent, Councillor if Langley folk elect him.

Clive will continue the good fight to Save Brandhall from the Labour concrete mixers but he has also pledged to overturn Labour's corrupt deal to destroy Lion Farm Fields too. And he is the ONLY candidate in Langley who will work to save the Fields.

Labour have put up the vile Bill Gavan again (Skidders passim ad nauseum). The pathetic former arse-wiper of the grotesque coward, Tom Watson, Gavan promised to attend a public meeting some years ago to explain the bent Labour deal to local people but p*ssed his pants at the last minute and bottled out. He also attended a memorable public meeting at the Crosswells when Phil Shakespeare was leading a campaign to stop the destruction of the "green corridor" behind Asda. He insulted everyone at the meeting and nearly sparked a riot!

Foul-mouthed Bill was, with the equally odious Cllr Paul Moore, two of the main Labour Councillors responsible for forcing through the destruction of Londonderry Fields.

Gavan is also the **** who joined the Tories online but when they found how they sensibly kicked him out - whereby this creep suddenly decided he was some sort of left-wing firebrand. You couldn't make this up! Do NOT vote for this truly nasty man under ANY circumstances unless you want to be sick over yourself.

Unfortunately, the Conservatives have also shot themselves in the foot with their choice of candidate. For several years - even before they were elected - a core of local Conservatives have, unlike Mark Smith, been unstinting and unswerving in their support for saving Lion farm Fields. People like Cllr Scott Chapman has always given excellent support.

This is all slightly strange since Labour did the deeply corrupt deal to destroy the Fields with property developer, Jeremy Knight Adams - a major donor of the Conservative Party! Nevertheless - and unlike bent Labour - local Conservatives stood firm and upheld the views of the vast majority of locals and others determined to save green spaces from the Labour bulldozers, especially Lion Farm.

The position was complicated with the election of Andy Street as Mayor who dodges questions on the issue whilst acknowledging his relationship with "Jeremy", as he calls Mr Money-Bags. You can judge for yourselves his demeanour on this video from last May's election:

There are persistent rumours that Street backs Labour's bent deal and that the new Labour "leader", Kerrie "Dim Kez" Carmichael has been elevated to wear the tarnished crown with promises to (a) bury the Cox Review; (b) ensure the destruction of Brandhall, and (c) also complete the corrupt violation of Lion Farm. As we have seen in an earlier post (see legal notice below) she lied twice in public within minutes of becoming Leader and so there is no point in canvassing her views on any of this.

But Andy Street suddenly popped-up in local campaigning literature claiming that he was "continuing" to stand up for Sandwell green spaces, including Lion Farm Fields, and so I wrote to him as follows:

"THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION

"I have been sent some Conservative Party campaigning material. An irate Sandwell Resident referred me to this piece.

"When exactly have you "stood up" for Lion Farm Fields? In my few meetings with you on the subject you have equivocated and mumbled that it is a planning issue etc. Your only positive comment was speculating what "Jeremy" might do - Jeremy being a major Tory donor who wants to destroy the Fields.

"I would remind you that of the Tory Councillors you have left in Sandwell they have all told me to my face that they do NOT support development on Lion Farm Fields.

"If you have undergone a Damascene conversion and now support the retention of this vital green lung then please confirm and we will be happy to welcome your support. If your position remains as before, please confirm that you will destroy all copies left of this grossly misleading campaign material and issue an appropriate correction.

"I am sending a copy of this email to Mr xxxx of the Warley Football League whose pitches your friend "Jeremy" wants to destroy."

This was sent on 3rd March, 2022 and one of his minions promised me a reply. I'm still waiting!

All this is somewhat academic as the Conservatives have selected former Labour Councillor Sharon Davies as their candidate. When she was Labour this non-entity fully supported the plan to wreck this huge green space! I wrote to her about this on 6th April but she too has not answered. I am taking it from that this newly-minted Tory, at least, is still keen on Labour's crazed plan!

When you were a Labour Councillor you were in favour of the destruction of Lion Farm Fields for a shopping centre. Is that still your position and, if not, why did you change your mind?

So there you are Langley - you can vote for a ghastly Labour sh*t with a penchant for destroying green spaces who tried to join the Tories but was kicked out. Or a cipher who was Labour but HAS joined the Tories yet still wants to buck the local policy and violate the Fields. Sandwell Labour attacks local authority workers and pensioners

Sandwell Labour loathe commerce and enterprise which is largely why the Borough is such a sh*thole after 48 years - yes folks, that's FORTY EIGHT years - of their dictatorship. One of the most deprived places in the country, Labour has brought the Borough to its knees - a poverty ghetto with poor health and educational outcomes. Instead of hanging their heads in shame, Labour morons like Cllr Peter "Alberich" Hughes BOAST about how sh*t the place is:

"... in England's most deprived decile - which we are probably in or near to ...".

[The fact that he doesn't actually know makes this statement even more startling.]

At least official figures show that life expectancy is worse in Sadders than most other places so that, if you don't vote the corrupt Labour Party out, then at least death will release you from their tyranny "significantly earlier" than you might wish for!

Most Sandwell Councillors are venal morons who have never run a whelk stall (and the few that did have businesses, like the absurd Cllr Bill "Alka Seltzer" Gavan, mostly came a cropper). Most actually despise business and private enterprise and attack the creation of wealth at every opportunity. They receive a personal allowance but award themselves fake "jobs" so that they can receive "special responsibility payments", from us taxpayers, on top. The bent Labour Borough has become synonymous with corruption, cronyism and incompetence - so much so that the Government has had to put the Council into "special measures". YOU will have to pay hundreds of thousands of pounds for a Government team to spend two years sorting the mess out and stopping Labour's ongoing fraud etc. If you are thick enough to vote Labour on 5th May then you deserve everything you don't get!

The Labour corruption involves employing family, friends and Party members at the Council regardless of talent and/or ability. Bent staff allow the corruption to continue in the full knowledge that if they, themselves, are implicated they will leave with a confidentiality agreement and a huge pay-off.

But now these Labour silly Burghers are attacking their own side. Even though hardly any Labour Councillors know a thing about business or investment they are seeking to force the financial professionals at West Midlands Pension Fund* (WMPF) to dance to their tune.

Trustees at WMPF have a legal duty to maximise the income of the fund (within specific risk parameters) for the benefit of future and existing pensioners. They administer the pensions of local authorities across the West Midlands together with those of many employees in schools, the fire and police services, and a host of other organisations. But Sandwell Labour (and, presumably, their Union masters) want to be able to order them to disinvest from whole industries to satisfy their political posturing. This interference is highly likely to damage the income of the Fund and, accordingly, the pensions it pays out.

The crazed charge is led for Sandwell Labour by foul-mouthed oddball, Cllr Laura Rollins (West Brom Central). You would think Rollins, who appears to want to associate herself with wealth, would be anxious to support the maximisation of pensions for Sandwell employees and others given her notorious social media search for dates with "rich Jewish boys", but not a bit of it. She and her Labour and Union "comrades" want WMPF to immediately disinvest from "fossil fuel" industries. The fact is, of course, that the world cannot get by without fossil fuels for the foreseeable future and the war in Ukraine has shown that investment, rather than disinvestment, is required to maintain supplies - at least in the short-term. Strangely, companies like Shell and BP had a torrid time in recent years as they moved away from oil, gas, etc and have been poor investments, but they are having something of a bonanza thanks to Mr Putin. And so this is an odd time for the "socialists" to demand a sell-off although, of course, they don't care if local pensioners and their own employees lose out because of their warped political dogma.

Despite Rollins's online search for skinless sausage she declares herself a vegan and, with Sandwell Labour, also demands disinvestment from "industrial livestock" - however they define that. Once again, world food supplies are being roiled by the war in Ukraine. We are facing price hikes in the shops here, but in many African and other countries there is a real risk of mass starvation in the coming months. Again this is an odd time for some of the grossly obese (like myself) Labour Councillors at bent Sandwell to be attacking the food industry.

[Interestingly the assault on the food industry has nothing to do with animal welfare where, of course, Sandwell Labour is fully in favour of the highly controversial ritual slaughter of critters with no prior stunning.]

The deeply corrupt Labour Party is trying to wrap up these political demands in a "green" (though sh*t-smeared) blanket. There seems, of course with Labour, to have been no investigation whatsoever into the effect of these grandstanding policies on the pensions of hundreds of thousands of local people. And this is just the thin end of the wedge. Sandwell Labour hate most industries and commercial activities, with the likes of Cllr Bob "Seig Heil" Piper being a slavish adherent to the anti-Capitalist ramblings of the thick, old, shagger Jeremy Corbyn, continously fighting for a Cuban-style dictatorship. And only recently, wealthy Herefordshire resident and former Sandwell Labour leader, Cllr "Red" Yvonne Davies, gleefully celebrated losses at pub group J D Wetherspoons - even though it operates four businesses and provides employment to people who actually live in the benighted Borough (one pub is directly opposite Oldbury Council House, although I am not sure Yvonne knows where that is anymore). If Sandwell Labour force the pension fund to invest only in companies they "like" (eg. deep-mined coal, clapped-out steelworks, retail parks on greenfield sites) then WMPF pensioners are in for a very bleak end to their days on earth. But, if it is any consolation, at the last Cabinet meeting, Piper revealed that he is often guided by the thoughts of Derek "Red Robbo" Robinson in economic matters - so that's alright then!

[Red Robbo was often unduly maligned, of course, and I am very pleased to be a friend of his daughter.]

I have written to the Unite, GMB and Unison trade unions asking if they support this potentially disastrous raid on the pension pots of their members/retired members by their local West Midlands branches and will keep you informed of their response.

Rather than attack WMPF perhaps Labour should look at the investments their own corrupt Council holds. In particular there is one very non-green mega-polluter the comrades are actually very keen on since, pre-Covid at least, it was a cash cow for their disastrously failing Council. They may have given hundreds of thousands to booted-out employees, splashed £100k on Lisa McNally on top of her £105,000 salary, lost £22m on Providence Place etc etc etc but one company has stumped up millions to bail-out their profligacy. Yes, perhaps the "green" comrades should look at divesting the bent Borough's shares in, er, Birmingham Airport!

[Incidentally, one Sandwell Councillor has spent a substantial time on the Airport Board. Step forward Robert Francis Piper. Seig heil!]

Where's Busted?

The ghastly people of Abbey Ward in Harborne North (aka Sh*thole Bearwood) like to masquerade as caring "socialists" voting in "hard-left" muppets like Piper and Ahmad Bostan. The latter, "Busted" Bostan", quickly became a laughing stock at Council meetings but was, nevertheless, a consummate rimmer and was soon appointed to the Cabinet. But, as this blog reported, he went awol and even Labour "comrades" couldn't contact him. The Berghaus Bolshies of Bearwood (many of whom, incidentally, are reliant on WMPF pensions) picked another dud here, like Piper. And the people of Sandwell have paid his normal allowances (and continue to do so) and his extra loot for being in the Commode/Cabinet (at least until he recently resigned) whist he has completely disappeared - allegedly to pursue a "media career". Any people of Abbey Ward wishing to get help from Busted are advised to contact British Muslim TV where, happily, their Tribune is alive and well and, so it is said, raking in loads of dosh.

Horror Movie - Zorro Bores Again!

This is an unusual post as I am specifically asking you to spend 5 minutes watching a video of surely one of England's worst councillors in action - Peter "Zorro" Hughes aka Alberich. I am slightly worried about putting the video up as I fear that Skidder reader, Baz Fitzgerald, might cause himself injury by laughing so much at this strutting buffoon.

This blog has mentioned Zorro many times, He is hateful, thick, astonishingly pompous, duplicitous (see the recent story on his plan - with Costigan and Luke Giles - to destroy Goldicroft Park) and probably the most boring speaker ever. He is a feeble groveller par excellence and metaphorically ejaculated at every utterance of disgraced former Labour Leader, Steve "Squealing" Eling. For years we have had to listen to his moronic diatribes at bent Labour Sandwell Council meetings. Here is a rare picture of him (slightly fuzzy) with his hand in his mouth - unusual, as it is normally his foot there:

To put the video in context - before he died in an orgy of booze and drugs, the then Labour Leader [sic], wifebeater Darren Cooper and others, shut down The Public arts centre. Not only that, but the malicious Cooper tried to eradicate arts spending in the sh*thole Borough altogether. The bullying thug infamously opined, "the arts is shit!"

Two organisations, Multistory and Black Country Touring, happily survived following Cooper's "year zero" but Dickhead Daz turned Sandwell into a cultural wasteland to match its other abject desolation after decades of Labour dictatorship.

I am not criticising the "Sadwell" Museums Service - such as it is - since they cannot make bricks without straw, but there is a poor offering with very limited opening times under the Labour philistines. This may change due to Tory government initiatives. The Arts Council is now encouraging local projects and a new (though highly controversial music school) is to open albeit at an absolutely enormous cost to the taxpayer.

Labour screwed local people for a maximum 4.99% Council Tax this year (not least to pay for the absurd Commonwealth Games project). In an alternative "budget" the Conservative Councillors suggest a raft of money-saving ideas. They proposed a full review of the Museums Service which may or may not lead to cuts. Labour jumped on this, mischievously twisting this into a "Tories will close the museums" agenda. As above, they are hardly open anyway.

In this extraordinary clip, Alberich boasts that, after 48 years of Labour, Sandwell is a stinking cesspit of poverty and deprivation. Having tried to destroy culture in the Borough the stuttering moron now says that culture is somehow "vital" to local folk.

Like all bullies Zorro is a pathetic coward and he tries to use his "position as an elected member" ("member" being the key word in his case) to get me removed from the public gallery. He has specifically objected to be laughing at him during his monotonous monologues but how can anyone not?

Not only does he waste time at meetings complaining about me to the Chair but then he misuses his status as a "member" to launch personal attacks on me. the real hilarity in this clip is when HE his ringing phone disrupts the meeting but, even then, he makes the libellous statement that I must be the person ringing him! Even Mayor Mushtaq Hussain couldn't tolerate his malicious tactics and, as you will see, eventually shuts the tw*t up.

Watch carefully for the reaction of Cllr Bob "Seig Heil" Piper (the grey-haired viper who hoves into the bottom left of the picture) when the phone goes off. Comedy gold!

Skidder Election Special - Vote FOR Labour Corruption???

When this blog began, five people controlled bent Labour Sandwell Council - Tom "Twatson" Watson MP, the wife-beater Darren Cooper, Steve "Squealing" Eling and Mahboob Hussain on the political side and their hapless lackey, Jan Britton, supposedly running the corrupt paid service. Even people like Cllr Yvonne Davies in the Cabinet were simply sheep doing as they were told - hardly surprising as the Cabinet was packed with Twatson cronies/employees like Hackett and Moore.

Corruption became endemic and subversion of the law de rigueur. Whatever one's view of the closure of The Public, the way it was done showed Labour's utter contempt for law and proper procedure. This was the canary in the mine but, even then, hardly anyone in Sadders could smell the gas.

[Laughably, even to this day Yvonne Davies and other senior Labour women use the "Dachau" defence in respect of Cooper, claiming that they knew nothing of his history of domestic abuse! Had they spoken to people in the pubs and cafes of Sadders, or out on the streets, they would have discovered what very large numbers of locals knew.]

When Cooper self-immolated in an inferno of booze and drugs, the corruption under Eling stepped up a gear seemingly with the full knowledge of his Cabinets. Now the law would be deliberately misused to (a) crush all opposition to The Tyrannical Eling, (b) to subvert the Standards process, and (c) to force through any policy the Cabinet wished. Thus Eling's puppets at West Midlands Police started to intimidate and harass me and others and the likes of Surjit Tour were appointed to subvert the standards process and the civil law for the glorification of the bent Labour leadership. This continued under Stevens - notably with the corrupt conspiracy of Cllr Crompton plus Stevens, Tour and Lisa McNally to unlawfully blow over £100,000 of taxpayers' money in a disastrous case against me and this blog.

I will write elsewhere how Eling and his corrupt Cabinet misused the provisions of s.1 Localism Act 2011 (and this is still going on TODAY). The section provides councils with what is known as the "general power of competence" and, on the face of it, lets a council do anything in law that a private individual can do. The Legal [sic] Department at corrupt Labour Sandwell love this "power" and trot out the section all the time when they are, er, breaking the law. As we shall see elsewhere, this "general power" does not operate in isolation and there are hundreds of other pieces of legislation which curtail this "general power". [Community activist Darryl Magher and I referred to this abuse of the law in our recent lengthy submission to the Government, and it is to be hoped that the newly appointed Commissioners brought into to stop yet more Labour fraud will be alert to this scam, and put a stop to it.}

One of the worst examples of this corruption was in 2017 when Cllr Paul Moore forced through the Cabinet a ludicrous decision to retrospectively provide legality to the fraudulent "deal" to sell Lion Farm Fields to a property developer. (Moore had also been part of the original Cabinet decision to approve the same bent transaction - a very clear conflict of interest!) The fiasco of the Commonwealth Games Pool is another example of Labour riding roughshod over proper procedure against the wishes of local people. This blog contains countless other examples. The vile bunch "arrowed" here are all still around like a bad smell (although you can alter that to an extent on May 5th). The two yellow arrows and the red arrow show former employees of the horrendous Twatson! Please see previous posts about all these Labour nasties - and also see the legal notice below.

From top right to bottom left:

White Arrow - Syeda Khatun - the wealthy constant companion of grotesque former Labour Cllr Derek Rowley (who was involved in selling off council property via friends on Facebook and was not even investigated by bent WMP). Khatun lied to subvert the Standards investigation into Cllr Simon Hackett and was booted off the Cabinet.

Orange Arrow - Kerrie Carmichael. "Dim Kez" is a thick, mouthy, person who, incredibly, is now Labour Leader of the Council. She lied at her first public meeting as "leader" and is now heavily engaged in a cover-up of racism. I am really happy about her appointment as it is GUARANTEED to end in disaster. She excelled herself on social media only yesterday by comparing Tories to serial killers!

Red Arrow - Paul "The Cipher" Moore aka "The Son-in-Law?" - red for danger with this repulsive individual. Moore was at the right-hand of Cooper and Eling throughout the period of extensive corruption, cronyism and incompetence. Determined to destroy green spaces across the Borough he has claimed on his election leaflet to be "saving green spaces". I could write a book on this absolute scum. On 5th May the voters can chuck out the man who puts the "hate" into Hateley Heath.

Blue Arrow - Ann "Shakkers" Shackleton - grim, mirthless Councillor again omnipresent throughout some of the worst of the corruption. Claims she is an ex-headteacher but either couldn't see the fraud etc under her nose or, for whatever reason, didn't want to see it.

Green Arrow - Elaine Costigan. Her Majesty is another truly vile individual. This blog has shown her as an inveterate liar. In a recent classic she, Zorro Hughes and Lachrymose Luke Giles tried to force through the destruction of Goldicroft Park, Wednesbury, without the knowledge of local residents. When the thick locals found out, this trio of treachery pretended that they were "against" the scheme they were promoting and started to lead the protests against it. Some of the moronic householders fell for this and think these scum are "marvellous"!

Yellow Arrow 1 - Bill Gavan - I can hardly bring myself to write about this turd. See posts passim. Foul-mouthed Bill was Twatson's general factotum and driver and is an horrendous individual. He gave a £5,000 donation to Labour when he was elected and then was given "special responsibility" payments well in excess of that sum back. Labour made him a business ambassador even though he has had so many dissolved businesses he is also known as "Alka Seltzer". Gavan joined the Tories via their online system and had his membership put up on the Council website. There was only one problem - The Tories did not want scum like him in the Party and kicked him out!. He has been a hopeless Cllr in Langley ward and has persistently supported Labour's corrupt plan to destroy Lion Farm Fields. Do NOT vote for this man on 5th May unless you want to be sick over yourself.

Yellow Arrow 2 - Cllr Simon Hackett - a corrupt coward who has cost Sandwell over HALF A MILLION POUNDS due to his lies and deceit. I am writing separately about this sh*t so watch this space. Just think how Friar Park could have benefitted from the £500,000 Hackett has cost local folk. But they have the opportunity to boot him up the arse on 5th May.

Skidder Election Special - Lucky Tipton: Jeffcoat Stands Again!

The only real alternative to supporting more Labour corruption in Sandwell is to vote Conservative on 5th May - except in 3 wards. I have already urged you not to vote for lying former Labour scumbag, Iqbal Singh Padda in Greets Green and Ly(i)ng. I will write about the Lib Dems and their crazed Fuhrer, Mark Smith, soon. A Liberal vote is a wasted vote in the rotten Borough with one exception - Clive Heywood in Langley. Not only is Clive intelligent and dynamic he is spearheading the fight against Labour's sick destruction of the few remaining spaces left in Sadders. He is tireless in his work (with many others) to prevent Labour concreting over the old Brandhall Golf Course, but he is also the only candidate in Langley Ward trying to stop Labour's fraudulent "deal" to turn Lion Farm Fields into a shopping centre. Last year Richard Jeffcoat ran in Tipton but the people in that sh*thole failed to vote for him. This year they can put that big mistake right. Please read on below the captions.

The likes of Cllr Bob "Seig Heil" Piper regularly abuse me and criticise what they perceive to be my personal political views (usually getting it all wrong). Richard Jeffcoat is a tad "lefty" on the political spectrum but I went out on campaign with him one morning last year and can only repeat what I said then - VOTE JEFFCOAT IN TIPTON GREEN!

After 48 years of Labour dictatorship, Tipton is a ghastly hole. It has been a longstanding fief for another ghastly Labour liar - Syeda Khatun - who has greatly increased her personal wealth as the town and area has sunk into a whirlpool of poverty and deprivation.

Khatun was in Eling's corrupt Cabinet but was thrown out after his disgrace and humiliation for lying to subvert the Standards investigation into the corruption of the equally vile Cllr Simon Hackett (which, has cost the taxpayers of Sandwell and beyond at least HALF A MILLION POUNDS!)

Astonishingly the people of Tipton Green then voted the "Tipton Green Tosser", Mohammed Yaseen Hussain aka "Billa". He had a following in the Muslim community but they too have been shocked at his behaviour. I can't write everything I want to about this sh*t for legal reasons but many readers will know that his wife had to "move out". He has also been the subject of Police investigations. There are other very lurid stories which everyone in the local Muslim community know. The sweating, sniffing, Labour wretch (when he is not under Party suspension) is, quite simply, an absolute disgrace.

Last year a resident of Tipton who had hitherto supported the Labour Party could take no more of this absolute sh*te. Sickened by the local Labour corruption, cronyism and incompetence, local Richard Jeffcoat stood as an independent candidate. He won over 1,000 votes but, alas, this was not enough as a majority of local scum decided they wanted MORE Labour corruption (which is exactly what they got over the last year).

Richard is working with people in Tipton Green under the banner "Tipton Together" to try and make it a better place to live - something that the likes of Khatun and Billa have singularly failed to do. In all my dealings with him his obvious enthusiasm for Tipton shines through, together with a buring desire to stop the rot under bent Labour.

Richard is an Oxford-educated musician and festival organiser and, unlike most Labour Councillors, actually has a brain. Last year he told people he was not some sort of "here today, gone tomorrow", character but that he would continue to work with other local people whatever the result. He was going nowhere - and he has been absolutely true to his word. I know him, like him and, most importantly, TRUST him.

Last year the people of Tipton collectively crapped their pants and elected Labour again in the form of the invisible Charm Singh Padda (no relation, I believe, to the above-mentioned scumbag). I understand that the local Labour Party folk had little or no say in the candidate selection this year, but Labour appointed a non-Tipton resident Muslim guy in an effort to try and rectify the damage done in that community by the grotesque Billa.

[I hear stories of the Tipton Green Tosser, Billa, being seen out campaigning for bent Labour. Any photos would be appreciated!]

The leaflet of the Labour candidate says Tipton "deserves better" which is a laugh noting that for 48 years it's Labour that has f***ed the place over!

Incidentally, there was a very important Tipton planning issue at the last Planning Committeee meeting concerning the Grade 2 listed Boat Gauging House and land adjacent to it. There were serious local objections to a proposed ugly and banal development, with the Tipton Civic Society making a passionate attempt to save the historic site. Tipton's own Charm Singh Padda is alleged to have sided with objectors and promised his support for the cause but he, er, failed to attend the meeting. Which is strange as he is ON the Planning Committee. Utter contempt for Tipton folk AGAIN from a Labour Councillor. And so, of course, bent Labour forced the awful plans through against the wishes of local Tipton people.

Tipton, how many MORE times are you going to let Labour shaft you? And you have no excuse about having little choice this time as Richard is an excellent candidate.

Breaking News

It seems that Surjit Tour, the highly-controversial Monitoring Officer will not be sacked by the Government Commissioners (brought in to stop the Labour fraud and incomptence at the bent Council) before 5th May at least. Despite protestations from the Tory Councillors, bent Labour gave him the job of Deputy Electoral Registration Officer (despite his past conduct). We shall be pressing for his departure as soon as possible thereafter!
