SAVE SANDWELL'S TREES!

Bent Labour Sandwell Council are trying to destroy green spaces in the Borough at a rate of knots despite b*llocks from Cllr Ahmad Bostan that this appalling vandalism somehow makes him and his comrades "green" lol!

Did you know that in 2019 the deeply corrupt Council stated that there were only 131 trees in Sadders subject to Tree Preservation Orders (TPO's). Yes, you did read that correctly - just one hundred and thirty one!

What is a TPO?

A TPO is intended to protect trees of high amenity or nature conservation value from being cut down of otherwise mismanaged eg. by excessive lopping or other damage. They must be viewable from a public place. A tree should be protected if its removal etc. would have a significant impact on the local environment and the enjoyment of it by the public.

There are also some excellent local campaigning groups (often set up to stop bent Labour destroying green spaces) and I am sure some of them may be very happy to get involved here. Do be careful though, some - like Warley Woods - are Labour fronts/crony organisations (even though the comrades considered shafting them to build the white elephant paddling pool lol!)

I will come onto the subject of Council-owned land in a minute but Spring is coming so get out there folks, identify any trees that should be saved in the Sandwell urban dystopia and contact the TPO Officer at SMBC. Kim Bromley-Derry, the very highly-paid Interim Chief Executive, is currently making it difficult for me to make simple enquiries of the crooked Authority, but I am told the relevant contact is byron_clews@sandwell.gov.uk

What if the tree is on Sandwell Council land?

There are two problems here - one a very major one.

Back in 2012 Sandwell produced a Report on Sandwell Golf Course by an independent firm. At paragraph 4.4 the authors mysteriously referred to many of the trees there being subject to TPO's. Yet when the Brandhall (a different course - or former course, since Labour closed it) campaigners (yet another group fighting bent Labour's plan to destroy another large green space) asked about TPO's there, the written response was:

"Trees owned by the Council and on Council owned land are not made subject of Tree Preservation Orders so none of the trees on the site are subject to Preservation orders."

ADDENDUM 08/02/22 - I am indebted to Clive Heywood who has confirmed that the report mentioned above relating to "Sandwell Golf Course" does, in fact, refer to Brandhall (specifically referring to the Course with the entrance on Heron Road.) This raises the question why Consultants stated some of the trees on the course WERE subject to TPO's and why bent Labour now say there are NO TPO's on trees on Council-owned land? On the latter comment - remember that YOU are the real owners of the land not the chainsaw comrades!

Not only is this directly contrary to what was said about Sandwell Golf Course but it is horrifying noting how chainsaw-happy Bostan and his mates are - and therein lies the crux of the issue.

There should be no need to apply TPO's in properly functioning, democratic, councils since such bodies will carefully consider environmental damage when considering planning issues. But, of course, Labour Sandwell is as bent as f*** and during the Cooper/Eling/Britton/Stevens/Bubalo era Labour subverted the proper operation of the Planning Department as they did with the rest of the failing Council. You will see above that they were so desperate to p*ss multi-millions up the wall on the ludicrous Commonwealth Games pool that they desperately searched for ANY greenfield site they could destroy. As it was, they rigged the whole process to shaft Londonderry Fields and rush to build the White Elephant with no strategic planning or concern for costs at all.

Here's a tweet from the Londonderry campaigners who were simply steam-rollered by "green" - lol - Labour.

We have seen very recently that Cllrs Costigan, Zorro Hughes and "Lachrymose" Luke Giles worked behind the scenes for a considerable time to destroy Goldicroft Park in Wednesbury with absolutely no consultation with local residents whatsoever. (The residents only found out via a leak from a concerned employee.)

Brandhall and Lion Farm - two huge sites are targets on Bostan's destruction list. This just can't go on or the ONLY green spaces left will be Warley Woods and Sandwell Valley (and we have seen above that even Warley Woods was not considered sacrosanct by the sleazy "socialists").

The Woodland Trust very kindly communicated with me on this issue. One line in their email is telling:

"Local Councils can place TPOs on trees on land they own. However, some councils might not deem it necessary, as councils rarely apply TPOs to their own trees as they will usually point out that trees on council land are already adequately protected from mismanagement."

Of course, in Sandwell we can see that Labour have subverted the law - and Planning Law - at will and the trees on SMBC land are not protected at all. In fact, they are in grave danger of being destroyed at Brandhall and Lion Farm as I write.

Thus I am appealing to Sandwell folk to not only look for lovely, mature, trees on private land but also on Council land and to apply for TPO's asap.

But there remains a big problem, firstly bent Labour are likely to object to TPO's and, secondly, it is bent Labour who enforce the TPO law. If Bostan and Co want to destroy huge green spaces they will not care about a few trees - as graphically shown at Londonderry.

By submission, however, is that ANYTHING that helps protect the trees is worth a go. We have seen brilliant campaining groups springing up to fight the vicious 47-year dictatorship and any extra weapons in their armouries are worth having. Bent Labour will still try and get their way regardless of what local people want but, by law, they will have to publicly negate any specific TPO's we can all work to obtain. We can fight back against this scum (copyright Angela Rayner), tree by tree.

Let's do this Sandwell! Maybe a Facebook Group could be set up to co-ordinate applications to the corrupt Council and to ensure that Labour comply with the law for once?

Bring on the Commissioners!

I will be writing seperately about the crisis engulfing bent Sandwell Labour who have until 11th February to convince the Government not to put the deeply corrupt Council into "special measures".

A worried Cllr Bostan asked at the recent Council meeting how bent Labour could look after the corrupt staff. It seems that he might be too late since I have been receiving communications from worried staff - anonymously and otherwise - dubbing in some of the Labour cronies who have got away with murder at the taxpayers' expense over many years.

Names are coming in about the errant SEND contract employees who surely must all face some sort of immediate disciplinary action (although some are apparently on long-term sick leave - no doubt on Union advice)?

Of course, the smart employees will get out before any Government Commissioners are appointed and, hopefully, there will then be mass sackings of the remaining dross. Please continue to keep the names coming of the more useless Labour cronies so that I can pass them on to the Commissioners if that time comes. There are various methods to communicate with me as set out below.

This was one recent social media direct message I received which I have very slightly altered to protect to anonymity of the employee:

"The next question you should ask is about [named employee]. S/he looks after [redacted] and puts the "rim" into "rimmer" ... [redacted]. Cllrs say to him/her to jump and s/he literally asks, 'how high'."

Hopefully s/he will soon be one of the first to be shown the door!

Skidder Shorts #43 - Grant Thornton Shocker, Part 2

Explanatory Note:

Grant Thornton are the external auditors of bent Labour Sandwell Council and recently prepared an explosive report into some of the chain of disasters the comrades have inflicted upon the benighted Borough.

This is the second of a short series of vignettes dealing with another Labour sh*tshow.

Part Two - Sandwell Children's Trust (SCT)

There are people in Sandwell who purport to be intelligent and yet also claim to support bent Sandwell Labour despite its shocking record. One thinks especially of many of the ghastly, snobbish, people of Bearwood, in particular, who live in a sh*thole but consider themselves as representatives of the Brahmin left (per Pinketty). In reality, they are pathetic people who would move to Harborne tomorrow if they had the dosh.

There are also the many so-called "faith groups" of Sandwell - of all denominations - who profess to "do good", but who are constant rimmers of the bent Labour Dictatorship.

It seems that there is nothing bent Labour can do that will not stop these morons voting for them. Corruption? Yes, we will "X" for more of that! Cronyism? Yes, we will "X" for more of that! Rampant Incompetence? Yes, we will "X" for more of that!

But what about about children being physically and sexually abused and assaulted? Kids being deprived of a decent start in life? What of the kids Labour boast are "starving" on the streets after 47 years of their Dictatorship? (In fact, Sandwell has a massive child obesity problem due to poor diet but why should the comrades let facts get in the way of fake Labour propaganda?) What of the crisis of child health and mental health care engulfing the "socialist paradise"? Surely the do-gooders are appalled at Labour's disastrous handling of Children's Services? Well you don't find them shouting about this abject failure or witholding their Labour votes whilst demanding improvements. At the end of the day, they just don't care (or care enough). Child being sexually abused? Yes, we will "X" for more of that! Education and health care deprivation? Yes, we will "X" for more of that! "Don't you see? We ALWAYS vote Labour in Sandwell."

When Labour had morons like Dickhead Darren Cooper (who regularly claimed Sandwell's Childrens Services were "brilliant" when the opposite was clearly the truth), Jan Britton (who steered the ship into the iceberg and then publicly slagged off the crew) and Cllr Simon "The Sandwell Slasher" Hackett (who has cost the people of Sandwell hundreds of thousands of pounds regarding a safeguarding issue) what did people - even the prats in Abbey Ward - expect?

Labour cocked it up royal and to such an extent that they were stopped from running most of the service. The Government set up the Sandwell Children's Trust in 2017 to try and improve things but, in the first disastrous move, Labour forced a crony, Jacqui Smith, into the position of SCT Chair. Inevitably, the service remains sh*t and the most vulverable kids in Sandwell are being shafted again both figuratively and, alas, sometimes literally. I could weep.

The Chair has a limited role, but a very important one, in this context. It was vital that someone should "set the tone" and provide real leadership in challenging circumstances. Am experienced expert was needed to ensure good practice from the off. But this vulgarian is already Chair of a London NHS Trust (amongst other things) but seems (if her Twittering is anything to go by) to be most interested in pursuing a media career when not making crap jokes about her "jugs" (Strictly Come Dancing and regular broadcasting).

Under Smith, the SCT finances have been all over the shop from the start. And the Conservative Government has had to ride to the rescue during Covid to bail them out. Here's what Grant Thornton have to say in their stinging criticism of Sandwell Labour:

"We concluded that there were weaknesses in the Council's arrangements for delivering services for children in need of help and protection, children looked after and care leavers. SCT has a track record of annual overspends and not achieving planned savings targets. The overspend in 2020 is approximately £2m, however one-off Government Covid-19 funding resulted in the final outturn being an underspend. The key workforce issue for SCT relates to operational roles with significant recruitment and retention challenges with social workers. SCT has invested in a recruitment campaign called 12 reasons to work in Sandwell but this has not been effective in resolving recruitment and retention issues … [Skidder comment - This was a problem in 2018 - it's now 2022 - see picture below!] The use of agency staff to cover vacant roles, and staff sickness levels, pose a significant risk to the continuity and quality of service delivery, along with increasing costs for the trust, which in turn is likely to impact on council budgets. The Trust continues to have serious weaknesses in some areas identified in previous inspections."

Perhaps the 12 reasons not to work in Sadders were outweighed by the "toxic culture" described in the Amazon book and the decades-long history of Labour failure. And who would want to move to a sh*thole like Sandwell - not Jacqui Smith for one. She lives in South Worcestershire!

Skidder Shorts #42 - Grant Thornton Shocker, Part 1

Grant Thornton are the external auditors of bent Labour Sandwell Council and recently prepared an explosive report into certain aspects of the chain of disasters the comrades have inflicted upon the benighted Borough.

This is the first of a short series of vignettes dealing with another Labour sh*tshow.

Part One: Providence Place

This blog was the first media outlet to identify the unfolding Labour disaster at Providence Place, the large square office building near the new West Brom Building Society HQ and north of the West Brom Tesco. Indeed it featured in The Skidder's "Corruptour" - a coach trip visiting just some of the spots where Labour have had your pants down. (Incidentally, the Corruptour was the first ever in the UK encouraged with the kind permission of the originators of the idea in Mexico City!)

Grant Thornton were not auditors at the time and so are too polite to comment on the original SMBC deal with Sandwell. Labour boasted, of course, that it was the best thing since sliced bread when, of course, BT had shafted these morons royal. The deal was an absolute dog and that's without the allegation that £15m went "missing" before the ink was dry on the contract.

Of course, bent Labour then had to extricate itself from this disaster, at considerable expense to you and me.

This blog pointed out in 2014 that the so-called "socialists" ended up buying the building at over £20m bragging that they had purchased "a valuable asset" lol!

Again, this blog reported that Labour were actually on course to make a colossal multi-million pound loss for us taxpayers. Mark Stocks of Grant Thornton attended at Oldbury Council House and told a Committee they should urgently reconsider a planned deal to sell it for use as a music school run by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (paid for by the Dep't for Education - DfE). He looked extremely foolish when an apparatchik piped up to say that contracts had already been exchanged at a knockdown price! It was all too little, too late.

The Skidder was only wrong on the size of the loss which is even worse than I reported. Here's the full horror story via Grant Thornton:

"A receipt of £8.46m was generated from the sale of Providence Place to DfE which was significantly below the acquisition price a £23.558m in 2014.

"The Council is still committed to making the loan and interest payments related to the initial purchase. The total remaining loan and interest are £31.69m. In effect the the total loss to the Council is [around] £22.5m. This is a significant loss."

I am running out of synonyms for "boasting" but the Labour bullsh*tters attempted to justify yet another "back of an envelope plan" by claiming that this disaster would bring "prestige" to the sh*thole Borough! ROFLMAO! The moronic comrades are also desperate to try and pose as some sort of patrons of the arts after Dickhead Darren Cooper's "Year Zero" where most arts funding was stopped for several years because, as he put infamously put it, "the arts are sh*t".

It is hard to imagine this getting any worse, but hang on in there folks. At the end of long commercial leases the outgoing tenant usually pays "dilapidations" to the landlord. In simple terms, this is a payment for any repair work work to damage or wear on tear during the tenancy and can be a significant sum. BT still leased part of the building and so the desperate comrades, incapable of running a whelk stall, waived these payments and, wait for it, even PAID BT over £400,000 plus legal costs to bugger off! Once again, here it is from the horse's mouth:

"BT held a lease until 2026 and had no contractual obligation to move. On 6th June 2021 Cabinet agreed to the terms of BT surrendering their lease at Providence Place. These terms included the Council having no obligation to provide BT with alternative accommodation, the Council would pay BT a surrender premium equivalent to one years rented £446.4k + VAT, BT would be waived liability for dilapidation and decommissioning works and the Council would be liable for BT's legal costs for surrender."

There will be many on the fiddle when the orchestra school moves in, but it looks like Labour have been playing you for fools for several years.

Goldicroft Park - Labour Scum Exposed!

Councillor Ahmad Bostan seemed to have promise when he was first elected but has turned into a ludicrous cabaret act (he has also tried to f*ck me over but that's another story). He seems to be rapidly becoming the "Boris of Bearwood" with his apparent inability to tell the truth. When he is not incessantly spitting bile at "the Tories" he tells the people of Sadders the outright lie that Labour is a "green council", despite the recent destruction of Londonderry Fields and the proposed concreting-over of Brandhall Golf Course and Lion Farm Fields.

Bent Labour see a green space in the sh*thole Borough they have systematically wrecked for nearly 48 years, and want to wreck it. One of their seedy tricks is to allow open spaces to deteriorate and become magnets for anti-social behaviour and then to classify these vital green lungs as "low-grade" areas (as with Black Patch and, as we shall see below, Goldicroft Park). But surely - better low grade than no grade in highly-urbanised Sadders? And areas can be improved where there is the will and community spirit to work at it.

Maybe I have lived on another planet for my 63 years (ok, yes, I haven't worn very well ...) but when someone shafts me I fight back and I never trust the aggressor ever again. In Sandwell, however, the jostling hordes of ignorami seem to actually like Labour p*ssing over them. Deeply corrupt Labour try to put one over on folk and when they are forced to drop their ludicrous plans, many locals ask them to drop their pants too so that tongues can be liberally applied to anuses. I regret that I have witnessed this grotesque spectacle with the Black Patch, Walker Grange and Goldicroft campaign groups.

It seems that Labour designated Goldicroft Park as a potential development site around ten or so years ago. As can seen in the following photo (via Google) it is a small haven of greenery in the north of the sh*thole Borough hemmed-in by existing housing.

As we shall see, Labour decided to investigate the site's possible destruction and appointed surveyors. The bent Councillors keep spinning the line that they always try to use local firms but here they, once again, instructed outsiders - a firm in Leicester. Cllr "lol" Elaine Costigan fingered a leaker within the corrupt Council who alerted local residents. They quickly formed a campaign group. She identified the leaker to SMBC management as a deputy manager in the housing department whose wife, she said, passed the info on. She gave a road name as the address of the leaker and clearly wanted action taken against this individual. As the sh*t hit the fan, the Triumvirate of Treachery in Wednesbury North - Cllrs Costigan, Luke Giles and Hughes - pressed the panic button. I have described in posts on this blog ad nauseum that, even in a very strong field of candidates within bent Labour, these three are among the vilest of the vile.

The poisonous rattlesnake, "Inane" Elaine Costigan, was first off the mark (in writing at least) on 29th May, 2021 and here is part of her, second, semi-literate email dated the following day:

The normally pusillanimous Luke Giles (a snivelling diddums who wails if anyone says anything nasty about him) may appear to be as thick as two short planks but he caught on quickly here and, with the utterly absurd Peter "Zorro" Hughes, claimed to be supporting the campaigners - seriously claiming that the three Labour Councillors of ghastly Wednesbury North were trying to "save" Goldicroft.

Within a very short space of time Labour threw out the crazed plan and (some) of the locals were soon on their knees metaphorically applying their lips to the genitalia of their new heroes.

But soft! As I have been trying to tell the Goldicroft Group (they refuse to listen) my information all along was that it was these same three scumbags who set the development ball rolling in the first place and who were pissing down the legs of local residents and telling them it's raining. And now - sound the trumpets - I can PROVE it!

It was the horror-story Costigan (Skidders passim ad nauseum - and see legal notice below) who kicked the thing off on 30th May, 2020:

The absurd Hughes (aka Alberich) took up the cause and wrote to Dr (of Education) Alison Knight. "Zorro", as he calls himself, wrote on 1st October, 2020 asking that consideration be given to destroying the low grade, non-quality greenspace. He says, "we have continued to argue the case for redevelopment" noting an alleged "consultation" with residents some years ago! So this was not an isolated whim - Costigan and Hughes (and later Lachrymose Luke) had been plotting this for years behind the backs of local residents. And now Councillor Crompton was also involved. Hughes claimed that local residents were ambivalent about developing the site which, of course, proved to be entirely incorrect!

(Note in passing the heading - everything that this strutting buffoon does is always of "high" importance ROFLMAO!)

Knight, who has since left the bent Labour Council for the second time, replied to the effect that the site was not very suitable for development but the position would be reviewed in early 2021. Note the site was officially graded as "low quality, low value":

Alberich didn't let it drop, emailing Knight with copies to Crompton, Costigan and Giles on 16th October, 2020 - again denigrating the "quality" of the open space:

Knight had to reapply for a job in the new structure "lol" and didn't succeed so was on her way. Hughes began to chase the pet project of the Trio Without Brio. He emailed various people at SMBC on 18th February, 2021 copying in Costigan and Giles. He chased a reply on 5th March, 2021.

On 18th May, 2021 Zorro "lol" said the matter had been discussed at the "Partnership Meeting" and asked for a meeting about the project. On the same date SMBC confirmed to him that survey works were due to commennce on 3rd June, 2021. Hughes was delighted that development opportunites were being explored and Costigan and Giles were again involved:

Just 11 days later these absolutely vile people suddenly purported to be the best friends of Goldicroft Park. And some locals fell for it hook, line and sinker!

(Incidentally - none of this appears to have gone through the bent Labour Council's Land Disposal Committee but the three Wednesbury North Councillors made the running and directly bossed members of the paid service about! No wonder corruption, cronyism and incompetence is rife in this Labour disaster-zone!)

Starmer's Chum Gets Sandwell Job - Is He Bent?

Keir "Sir Woodenarse" Starmer has had more time in self-isolation during the pandemic that your average medieval hermit, but he is still behind on his correspondence! Below is the letter I sent to him on 7th January, 2022 regarding his apparent interference in the affairs of bent Labour Sandwell Council. This elitist snob has yet to respond:

"For the personal attention of Keir Starmer MP.

Dear “Sir” Keir,

Are You Bent?

THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION

I am writing to you in your capacity as the Leader of the Labour Party given your interference in the affairs of Sandwell Council - a 47-year Labour dictatorship synonymous with fraud, cronyism and incompetence. It seems that you are working with John Spellar MP and NEC member Gurinder Singh Josan to force your own brand of cronyism on the benighted and dirt-poor Labour Borough!

It is said that you were directly involved in 2021 with the disastrous appointment of Spellar and Josan’s puppet, Rajbir Singh, as Leader of the Council. It is further said, in Sandwell, that YOU personally are aware of the true circumstances of his resignation within a matter of months and yet YOU have allowed a different version of events to be promulgated. Do you wish to comment on that? Is that what QC’s do?

Singh was a tyro Councillor with no obvious attributes to lead the Council and it is said that YOU, Spellar and Josan intended to pull his strings. To that end, and in a further display of Labour cronyism, YOU personally were directly involved in arranging for the appointment of a “political adviser” to the hapless Singh, Imogen Walker. [Ed: Walker is a bourgeois white woman.]

The first point to note regarding this obscene and unnecessary appointment, which seems to have been rigged in any event, is that the biggest problem in Sandwell is poverty after 47 years of Labour’s destruction of business, jobs, education, enterprise and much else across the six towns. Ms Walker claims on her LinkedIn profile to live a great distance away in Lanark and it is said that she is being paid several hundreds of pounds per day from the failing Authority’s budget. Why?

The second and more serious point relates to cronyism allegedly involving YOU personally. You have foisted Walker into a well-paid but unnecessary position because she was (and maybe still is) the partner of Morgan McSweeney, your pal, erstwhile Chief of Staff and Campaign Director and, now, Labour Party Campaign Director. (I am not sure of their exact relationship at present but know that the shared addresses in London from 2010 to 2020.) How did YOU become involved in setting up this rigged appointment for one of your cronies?

I know you hide it well, but you are said to be quite bright. Surely even you must realise that the major 47-year old problem in Sandwell is the lack of impartiality thanks to a brutal Labour dictatorship? How do you imagine putting your metropolitan elite Labour cronies into highly paid Sandwell jobs helps in any way?

How is it democratic for outside Starmer cronies to purport to run an elected Council in The Black Country?

If your Labour Party Councillors are so useless in Sandwell (and the record of the last seven years shows that they are) that they need your cronies to hold their hands why don’t you get the Labour Party to pay for your pals?

Sad Breaking News - Sylvia King Dies

I am very sorry to report the death of Sylvia King. Here are the words of a great friend of the arts in Sandwell, Graham Peet:

"Sylvia King died yesterday after a long illness. 'What a woman she was', said lead architect of The Public, Stephen Pimbley, on hearing the news. Sylvia had persuaded world famous architect, Will Alsop, to design the extraordinary West Bromwich building for the people of Sandwell. She raised tens of millions of pounds to create an amazing community arts centre as the centrepiece of the regeneration of West Brom town. 'It's too good for West Bromwich', said people from London when they saw the plans.

"As readers of The Sandwell Skidder know only too well, The Public was shut down by Darren Cooper (then Leader of the Council), disgraced ex-Cllr Steve Eling and others, including some still-serving Labour councillors, in 2013 - much to the fury of many council officers who had supported the project as a groundbreaking world class facility for the town and Borough. 'I never liked it anyway', said Cooper.

"He may not have liked it but in its last year (when it was still surrounded by a building site) nearly 450,000 people visited and loved the place. Thirty businesses set-up in the building, 120 apprentices were trained on site and, on the first day of advertising, 3,000 local people applied to work as visitor assistants there. Following closure, many of the businesses left the town.

"Through her dynamic efforts, Sylvia brought £60m (sixty million pounds) investment to the Borough to pay for the iconic building. It was then given rent-free to Sandwell College in highly controversial circumstances just after they had moved into the their own brand-new £70m site at Spon Lane. The Council and College set about destroying significant parts of the incredible interior of the building and it stands now as a shadow of what it could and should have grown to be.

"The Arts Council, who had largely funded the project through the lottery, said that the website set-up to highlight The Public's short but beautiful life was, 'a great memory of the successes as well as leaving one thinking what might have been. See for yourselves at:

The Skidder adds:

Thank you Graham. I do not intend to rehearse the corruption surrounding Sandwell Labour's destruction of The Public here - save to say that this blog is STILL continuing to expose those responsible. That includes the likes of Tom Watson and John Tew.

In addition to The Public, Sylvia also ran Jubilee Arts for many years - a highly-valued local community arts organisation. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding The Public tended to overshadow her considerable achievements. Indeed she was actively traduced by some local Labour councillors, the local mainstream media and, worst of all, by some people who should have known better in the arts establishment - shameful and disgraceful behaviour.

Sylvia was the living embodiment of the Arts Council's professed mission to provide "Great Art and Culture for Everyone" - especially the deprived folk of Sandwell and we should all thank her for that. She was a bright star and her memory will shine on.

Wasim Ali and the SEND contract + much more!

It's getting manic in Sandwell and some big stories are coming soon as bent Labour are involved in widespread corruption RIGHT NOW. Stay tuned folks for much more to come but here's some interesting (I hope) stuff to keep you going!

SEND Contract - What Did The Cabinet Really Know?

I recently disclosed the "internal report" of our old friend [sic] Peter Farrow (Skidders passim) into bent Labour's, at worst deeply corrupt, or at best totally incompetent, award of the multi-million pound SEND contract to two companies controlled by the same person.

Farrow stated at Paragraph 5.15 that officers effectively misled the Cabinet in August, 2020 by failing to tell it that the officers were planning (on whose orders?) to drastically reduce the number of operators undertaking the work to "a limited number of contractors".

Fair enough you might say. But I have re-read Farrow's effort today and I cannot see any mention of what purports to be a Briefing Note to (then) Cabinet Member, Wasim Ali, dated September, 2020.

(Incidentally, Ali has vehemently denied in writing that he is related (albeit distantly) to the person who owns the companies which won the jackpot. He specifically denies in writing that his grandfather was a brother-in-law of that person's grandfather. There are, however, widespread rumours that, whatever his familial relationship, he is a close "friend of the family". This too he vehemently denies, and we must accept his word on this.)

However ... This is the marking on the "Briefing Paper" a copy of which was sent to me purporting to be genuine:

Cllr Ali was a Cabinet member at the time and the "Briefing Note" specifically warned against bent Labour putting all its eggs in one basket:

"Should all the contracts be awarded to one transport operator (Master vendor), the risk will need to be weighed up carefully regarding the Council's statutory duty being provided by one company*. In a monopoly market, the operator faces no competition, the Council may also be putting the smaller companies out of business. Should a situation arise whereby the master vendor is unable to fulfil its contract(s) the council would be in a very vulnerable position because there may be no other transport operators available to provide the service."

*Here bent Labour awarded the multi-million pound contracts to two companies though they are both controlled by the same person.

This raises a number of issues. Firstly, is the briefing note genuine since, if it is, the Cabinet were warned - via Cllr Ali - of the dangers of what actually happened back in September, 2020 but took no action to stop the provisional award to, effectively, one person. Either they were too stupid and thick to realise what was going on or they specifically ignored it - in which case there would seem to be no grounds to reopen the tendering process as it was lawfully made with Cabinet approval.

Secondly, if the Briefing Report was genuine, did Cllr Ali circulate it to his Labour Cabinet colleagues and why is it seemingly missing from the Farrow Report? I wrote to Cllr Ali on 13th December, 2021 (please note that date folks) sending him a copy of the Briefing Paper and asking him:

"Contrary to 'evidence' being presented to the public I understand that you personally received this Briefing Paper in September, 2020. Can you please confirm whether that is correct?"

Ali has chosen not to respond.

Thirdly, if the Briefing Paper is genuine and it was specifically sent to Cllr Ali in September, 2020, then another problem arises for him as he wrote to me on, er, 24th June, 2021:

"I can assure you that I am not involved and have had no involvement in the SEND contract process."

As above, he has been given the opportunity to comment whether the Briefing Paper is genuine or not. If it turns out that it is, he has clearly lied in his June, 2021 email. So come on Wasim, here is your chance to put the record straight for Skidder readers!

(I understand Chris Ward and Carol Wintle were two employees involved in this debacle but who have left SMBC. Angelina Dawson was heavily involved. I have been given two other names but can anyone out there confirm the identity of the employees involved here please?)

For the record, certain individuals in Sandwell enjoy high-level protection from West Midlands Police. The Skidder has also received countless allegations of Sandwell police officers being directly involved in criminal activity. In the circumstances, there appears to be no prospect of The Bent Blues looking into all this.

Justice Delayed is Justice Denied!

A complaint was made to West Midlands Police (aka "The Bent Blues") as long ago as 11th May, 2021 concerning an alleged false declaration by a Labour candidate at the Council elections on 8th May, 2021. The matter was taken on by a Detective Inspector but no decision has been made concerning prosecution EIGHT MONTHS LATER!

We have been here before, of course, when the Bent Blues deliberately helped their Labour mates in Sadders and let the time for prosecution run out in respect of former Councillor "Lying" Lucy Cashmore.

The old law used to have a six-month limitation period and I wrote to the DI some months ago expressing concern that The Bents were "at it again". The case is incredibly straightforward and, interestingly, there was honest evidence given by a quite well-known Sandwell figure. The DI assured me that there is, in fact, a 12-month limitation and that enquiries are still "ongoing". Watch this space ...

Rats

One of Cllr Bob "Seig Heil" Piper's infamous, abusive, "jokes" was to rehash an old Labour quote that "Tories are worse than vermin". He put up an image of a rat saying "you are never more than 10 feet away from a Tory". Following the last General Election and the Council elections last year, I took delight that his joke may have backfired on the Labour Dictatorship of Sandwell as a blue wave started to wash the red scum away.

As it happens, many parts of sh*thole Sadders are infested with the real thing. Here are the local rodent hot spots - eeek!

Hackett takes the p*ss - yet again ...

I am very sorry to keep you all in suspense but the Hackett saga IS reaching its denouement and I will be reporting the outcome soon. The delay is due, of course, to bent Labour Sandwell who are delaying their response to a Freedom of Information request concerning the huge costs they have lost - again - in a court case arising directly from the pathetic Hackett's appalling cowardice.

There will also be a direct leafletting campaign in his Friar Park ward so that local morons finally realise how this guy has screwed them over the last few years.

Despite his reputation, Labour's Hackett presents as a mincing wimp but he has got some brass neck, I'll give him that. The Sandwell Slasher recently put up a photo on Twitter with comments concerning the bus stop by Lidl in Friar Park. He complained about "milk or something" poured over seats and the rubbish strewn around. But this grotesque hypocrite was, of course, caught by a Sandwell Council street warden blind drink and urinating an a, er, bus shelter. There was a massive and costly "cover-up" "lol" of his shocking conduct and he only escaped official censure since it was determined that he wasn't "acting in his capacity as a Councillor" when he gave the bus shelter a golden shower.

Even then this halfwit has no common decency. He has deliberately cost Friar Park and Sandwell literally hundereds of thousands of pounds but there was no chance of him going and cleaning up the shelter himself. No. The feeble "socialist" boasted of how he "reported" it for other people (aka "workers") to be sent to clean up the mess. Indeed he asked local voters if there were any other shelters they wanted him to report. The p*ss-maker has become - again - a p*ss-taker of local folk.

McNally and her Twitter Account

"Vicarious liability" is a typically poncey legal term to express a concept that is usually very straightforward. Without wishing to get technical and, applying the concept to bent Sadders, the Council is legally liable for the statements or actions of its employees except in very, very, unusual circumstances.

Readers will know that Lisa McNally, bent Sandwell's Director of Public Health, brought a mailcious claim against me which she lost on ALL grounds. This related solely to her personal Twitter account. If she felt she had a claim she should have found her own solicitor and paid for the case herself. After all she earns in excess of £105,000 per year (plus has a gold-plated pension). But Surjit Tour, David Stevens, and Cllr Maria Cromption conspired with her to force YOU to pay instead, and have screwed you for over £100,000.

Right at the very beginning of the case I asked - in writing - if SMBC were accepting vicarious liability for McNally's personal Twitter account (where, inter alia, I was able to show tweets to the High Court where she had abused other Twitter users and where she put out "work-related" information that was not readily available via official SMBC channels). Tour, Lynch, Price and Maher-Smith - the four solicitors (at least) who ran the disastrous case immediately realised the danger and so they refused to reply - even to my solicitor when he put the same point to them. They may have conspired to unlawfully fund McNally but there was no way they were going to officially accept legal responsibuility for a loose cannon.

I pointed out after the case that although they had never formally accepted liability for McNally's Twitter account, SMBC may be found legally liable for her twittering by reason of their funding of her court case and the Labour Councillors backing her every utterance. Further, they have not tried to prevent her using work-based material on her personal account despite being given "the gyspy's warning" (no offence intended to the travelling community) and so may be estopped from avoiding liability if things go horribly wrong in Twitterland.

The time has not yet come when they are caught on the hook but the danger of their approach was shown the other day. A seemingly intelligent, bourgeois, woman in Sutton Coldfield (i.e. not a Sandwell Resident) was apparently too thick to use the internet but decided she "must" contact McNally for information (on a Bank Holiday) about the testing regime when workers might have Covid. (This had all the hallmarks of a "put-up job" but that's another story.)

I am not going to give McNally the oxygen of publicity relating to her immediate response but she went on:

"If LFT on Day 6 positive then keep taking LFT's 24 hours apart until you get 2 negatives. Return to work day after second positive. No more LFD tests required after the 10th day ..."

Astonishingly the moron is Sutton thought this obvious b*llocks was somehow wonderful and showered McNally with thanks.

The Skidder Team were onto this like a flash and alerted me. I pointed out on Twitter that the advice was wrong and dangerous since it should have been, "return to work after second negative" (not second positive).

Also many of the people in Sandwell are likely to be confused by references to lateral flow tests as LFT's and as LFD's (they are the same thing - "t" is test and "d" is device).

The point of "official channels" is to check and authorise public information so that these sorts of errors are not made by individuals, to use another another quaint legal phrase, "on a frolic of their own". This is a term used in vicarious liability cases and Tour and his mob better start looking it up. It might come in handy one day.

Billa - Full of Sh*t (again)?

At the last Council meeting (December, 2021) a sweating and "hyper" Cllr M. Y. Hussain - aka "The Tipton Green Tosser" (Skidders passim ad nauseum) - made a public statement that there had been Labour Party "racism" during the reign, as Leader, of Cllr "Red" Yvonne Davies.

I duly wrote to The Tosser asking him to back up these very serious public allegations but, guess what folks, he has failed to do so. Billa - put up or SHUT UP!

Planning Enforcement Sandwell-Style!

In 2019 a car sales company took over a green plot of land at Burnt Tree and, without regard to the wildlife present, started trading from the site - without planning permission. The company retrospectively applied for planning permission which was refused - the decision being supported on appeal to the Planning Inspectorate. The miscreant was given 60 days to quit the site and return it to its original condition. It appears that Sandwell mysteriously gave him an extra 30 days on top of that despite complaints from the public.

On 30th November, 2020 a "planning enforcement officer" at the bent Labour Council wrote saying the matter had been referred to its infamous "legal team". Members of the bent paid service visited the site - where the car company was still trading - but told the principal complainant that despite eg. lavishing over £100,000 on the disastrous McNally case, the Council "couldn't afford" to take legal action!

The moral of the story so far is that if you are a business then you can set up in bent Sandwell and start trading without planning permission as the corrupt and incompetent comrades won't do anything. Indeed, emails seen by The Skidder appear to indicate that, rather than enforce the law, "officers" have bent over backwards to identify sites the miscreant may wish to move to instead! (Remember this nicey-nicey approach folks if this shower start getting heavy with YOU for some perceived wrongdoing).

But our intrepid complaint wouldn't give up. On 15th November, 2021 - nearly one year after the original complaint - the same "planning enforcement officer" said the miscreant had not moved (though was still trading from the site) as he had been back and forth to a named African country where he claimed his mother and sister had "died of covid".

Finally (?) on 2nd December, 2021 SMBC again stated they were helping this guy to find an alternative trading pitch but that they were now proceeding with a prosecution! Again, watch this space!

Bent Labour need to cut costs given their runaway spending and so perhaps they should consider cutting some staff in the planning department where at least TWO officers - and seemingly a manager - have been spending taxpayers' money helping someone who is very deliberately breaking the law!

Newhall Street, West Brom

I am told that local residents in this street are having a few problems but are being ignored. I did write to Cllrs Jackie "Jack of No Trades" Taylor, Randhawa and Walsall-resident Padda several weeks ago but they have not responded.
