One: I have repeatedly castigated bent Labour Sandwell Council here for its hatred of business and enterprise. Labour don't want people to create wealth and to create jobs in their deprived poverty ghetto. Some Sandwell Labour Councillors describe employers as scum who just "exploit" workers and all landlords as "parasites" (except their many Labour colleagues who rent out properties). Things reached a nadir (from a very low starting point) under business-hater extraordinaire, then "leader" Cllr "Red" Yvonne Davies, particularly when she and her colleagues (including Paul "The Cipher" Moore) were utterly humiliated at the statutory annual business rates meeting during Red's short reign (Skidder passim).
Two: I have also exposed the business awards [sic] industry and how these guys and gals sell expensive tickets to social events where they dish out utterly meaningless "awards" to those mug enough to have shelled out. The king of the local circuit is Black Country uber-greaser, Ninder Johal (Skidders passim). Here he is with his late mate, the wife-beater "Dickhead" Darren Cooper - the "leader" of bent Labour Sandwell as it became synonymous with corruption, cronyism and incompetence.
Labour have become sensitive to my criticism, which is echoed by many others and, of course, the Tory MP's and Councillors are trying to improve the dreadful situation the "socialists" have created. Thus the comrades were cock a hoop when Tividale firm Ramfoam Limited won Government PPE (personal protective equipment) contracts during the Matt Hancock gold rush.
Suddenly, bent Labour thought profits were good and broadcast the news to the dirt-poor Borough:
So what exactly did Sandwell Labour do to help this firm win a Hancock Golden Handshake? I expect "hard-lefties" like Cllrs "Seig Heil" Piper and Fenton will be anxious to tell us ...
The Ninder Johal awards machine cranked swiftly into action and, lo, Ramfoam won the Nachural Events "Business of the Year Award 2022".
Of course, real journalists usually do a bit of research before doing pieces puffing up local businesses but not, seemingly, at "The Wolvo C***suckers" (aka The Express and Star). Veteran journo John Corser was quick to apply tongue to corporate anus in August 2021 with his first puff piece for the Company. He followed up with a double rimmer in 2022 to breathlessly report Ramfoam's "victory" at the meaningless awards ceremony AND to give a mention to Johal's outfit:
For the sake of political even-handedness, West Midlands Tory Mayor, Andy Street, was keen to get in on the "good news" story and opened Ramfoam's new factory:
Now you are probably saying, "this is all good isn't it? Don't say The Skidder is going to go and spoil it all?" No - I'm not. But the great journos at Private Eye have! This week's issue has exposed the fantastic mark-ups and profit margins Ramfoam have ramraided on their very generous Government contract. I know that many of you have now seen my interview with Kerrie "Dim Kez" Carmichael on social media but the sound is quite poor (I can't get as close to her as the so-called mainstream media - MSM - and it was windy). Below is a transcript but it is worth commenting on the whole affair.
Dim Kez is "leader" of bent Labour Sandwell Council despite the fact that she was a major rimmer of former "leader", the disgraced Steve "Squealing" Eling. Indeed one correspondent always refers to her as "Kerrie Eling" lol! Carmichael was a member of probably the most corrupt Cabinet in Sandwell history (and that's saying something) - as were the likes of Cllrs Moore and Hackett. All three are now back in control. It is said that Sir Woodenarse (aka Keir Starmer), the anonymous Labour Party leader, personally approved Dim Kez for the top job despite her record.
Labour have spent multi-millions of taxpayers' money on the ludicrous Commonwealth [sic] Games and yesterday was the baton relay. The local MSM decided not to send any journalists to cover the event but sent some PR (public relations) people instead. The Wolvo C***suckers (aka The Express and Star) sent someone called James Vukmirovic to apply his tongue around Kez's arse. I sh*t ye not but at one point he breathlessly asked The Haranguing Hamster is she was "excited"!!!! He asked searingly penetrating questions such as whether Kez was "worried" that anything might "go wrong" with the relay. WTF? I stepped in and attempted some proper journalism until Dim Kez's taxpayer-funded media advisor ushered her quickly away. It is worth watching the video just to see Carmichael's pitiful, smirking, performance and then you can read the transcript if you couldn't hear everything:
Here is the transcript - you will note that this arrogant person doesn't think ordinary people need to know the amount of the multimillions blown by Labour on this fiasco but that you just need to know that everything is allegedly "in budget" and, even more incredibly, that there is seemingly not a budget at all, since everything will be "worked out" after labour have p*ssed your money up the wall!
The Dim Kez interview:
Skidder: Can you day how much Sandwell Council have spent on the Games so far? Do you have figures?
Dim Kez: I haven’t got that figure off the top of my head at the moment.
Skidder: Well you’re the Leader. You must have some idea of how much its cost?
Dim Kez: It’ll all be worked out, after.
Skidder: Well just tell us on the Aquatics Centre. How much has that cost?
Dim Kez: We’re within budget. That’s all you need to know.
Skidder: Well you originally said £15 million was going to be the cost in a meeting in there [i.e. the Council Chamber]. So that went up to £73 million. So what is that now?
Dim Kez: I said £15million?
Skidder: Well, the Council said in the Council Chamber.
Dim Kez: All I know is that we’re in budget.
Skidder: Whose budget though? The people….
Dim Kez: Our budget. The budget that we originally set.
Skidder: So when you’re saying that people in Sandwell are dirt poor and poverty is rife in Sandwell, and you’ve been in charge - Labour - for 48 years, you think this is a good way of spending the money rather than relief of poverty?
Dim Kez: I think it is good spend, yeah, I do. I think its good for the Borough.
Skidder: So its better than people having houses and food and things like that? So to come to an event like this?
Dim Kez: Honestly people who need houses will be allocated houses when we have them available but we haven’t got the land to build that many houses on (laughing)
Skidder: A few months ago you said that there were 1700 empty council houses in Sandwell a year ago. How many are there empty at the moment?
Dim Kez: [Walks away.]
This was just some of the reaction on social media to her arrogance:

There were dozens more comments like these, and many references to her "smirking" a Dim Kez speciality!
Let Them Eat Bacon!
There was outrage on social media yesterday as the bent Labour Council even managed to f*ck up the baton travel arrangements. One outraged resident wrote on social media that Sandwell Council is a complete "shower of s***". A bunch of people were banging on residents' doors at 7.30am in McKean Road telling them to move their cars or they would be towed away! This was just 30 minutes before the relay started (after months of hype) just a short distance away in Simpson Street! Barriers were put up on the wrong streets. It is said that traffic wardens were also issuing tickets, and I hope if this is true that bent Labour will investigate this and cancel them forthwith (please contact The Skidder if you got a ticket).
The incensed resident added, "good job they aren't organising something in a brewery"!
We know that bent Sandwell Council spend taxpayers' money like drunken sailors (no offence intended to inebriated matelots) but at the relay event yesterday (which was sparsely attended in Oldbury when you ignore the gaggle of councillors, cops and council employees present) the "socialists" hired a catering van to attend and the MC, kept announcing "FREE bacon butties"? I am not sure how this went down with Muslim folk attending, but why the f*ck were Labour using your money to pay for a small number of people to be fed at taxpayers' expense? This is just sick (and I use that word in its traditional sense). I hope the Covid recovery money Labour "nicked" from the wicked Tory Government wasn't being used on this absurdity?
The MC constantly exhorted the small gathering to cheer and applaud those paying him i.e. bent Labour Sandwell Council. WTF again?
Addendum: 29.07.22 - In my original post I named the MC as Dicky Dodd. This information was supplied to me by a member of staff at Sandwell Council for whatever reason. In any event the information was incorrect and I apologise unreservedly wholeheartedly to Mr Dodd. My error caused him distress and I am exceedingly sorry for that.
The Scrotum
Who was the marketing genius who has made Sandwell a laughing stock yet again? Surely "SAC" [Sandwell Aquatics Centre] is the worst acronym possible for the paddling pool? Who the f dreamt that one up (and, more to the point, how much money did Labour give them of your money to do so?) The "eyes of the world" will indeed be on Sadders again ...
At least West Midlands Railways have expressed their view on the Black Country's most notorious sh*thole"!
Bob "Seig Heil" Piper
As above, recently Dim Kez announced that the paddling pool was "on budget" at, er, £73m. Yesterday the vile Piper was again attacking those local residents whom he perceives to be bourgeois scum (i.e. most of them) but also posted that £32m equates to "about" 40% of the cost of the paddling pool. If piper is right, which he seldom is, that means that the £73m has already gone up to £80m! (And that excludes the millions paid to "market" the z-list Games. BTW, I know that some funding comes from other sources but I expect the Leader of the bent Council to know the real figures - and so do you given social media comments!)
Is this true about the "Legacy"?
Deeply corrupt Sandwell Labour have consistently bragged that Sadders will have the "legacy" of an "international sports venue" (in the wrong place, at colossal cost, and with two other pools being closed down). But is this even true? The Skidder received this yesterday:
"After the Games some 4,500 seats will be removed for badminton courts and gyms. This leaves about 1,200 seats. The highest ranking competition allowed in [The Scrotum] thereafter is Regionals, which is one step up from County competition. [The Scrotum] will never be able to host a swimming National event as the capacity is not big enough. The world class facility becomes a very large training pool. This is where the White Elephant comes in. The Council [i.e. bent Labour] had the option of keeping the seats and potentially having world-ranking events at the place, but opted to have them all removed. Diving is not a high spectator sport, nor is water polo, so they may get away with National events for those disciplines as only 10 people will watch. [The correspondent then wrote about a facility in Sheffield which retains 2,500 seats for National swimming events.]"
It seems that the Pool will not be hosting national and international swimming events in sh*thole Smethwick after all? What say you, Dim Kez?
Demo - Saturday
This afternoon there is a walking protest by the local taxi drivers from Wesr Brom to Oldbury to arrive at the Council House before tonight's full Council meeting. The Save Brandhall Green Space protesters will also be there. We are also promised an appearance by Sandwell's famous Gooseman in respect of the pollution of Sandwell's "other" pools:
Many people claim on social media that they cannot get to these demos at OCH due to other commitments and have asked for weekend rallies. Yet there has been a poor response to my call out for a demo on Saturday at West Smethwick Park.
The swimming programme starts at 10.30 on Saturday and so protesters are welcome to join us between 9 and 10.30 at West Smethwick Park opposite Holly Lane. Please come along (remembering that travel and parking may be difficult) to protest against Labour's destruction of green spaces (note above that Dim Kez has her eyes on even more green spaces for building), Labour's corruption, pollution and other environmental issues, the taxi problems and anything else where these jokers are shafting the Borough. This pair of Councillors (husband and wife) have connived with Surjit Tour, Sandwell's highly controversial Monitoring Officer (Skidders passim and see legal notice below), to hide details of their property and business interests from the people of Sandwell. It is a legal requirement for them to do so but, in league with Tour, they are claiming that they fear "violence and intimidation" if they do so! Yesterday, I also took the opportunity to ask the male half of the duo who was supposed to be threatening him and his wife. You can see his arrogant reaction yourselves. (I should say that this guy is such a nonentity I mistakenly referred to him on social media yesterday as Jalil Uddin.)
I am now investigating this pair to find out what it is they are trying to hide from voters and local people. Any info welcome!

I appreciate that athletes are some of the most selfish people on earth - obsessed only with the adrenaline rush of competition without a thought for wider society, but I would just like to comment on the forthcoming arrival of the Swimming Australia team for the z-list Birmingham Commonwealth Games. I hope that you will appraise your young charges of the wider implications of the Games whilst they are having their fun for a week at colossal public expense.
Games - The National Background
You will be well aware that no city in the entire Commonwealth [sic] was prepared to host the 2022 loss-maker. Eventually, near bankrupt Birmingham Council (run by the nominally socialist Labour Party) decided it wanted to be the one to lose multi-millions of taxpayers’ money on this non-event. Naturally, locals had no say in the matter.
As with all these loss-making ventures there is almost total secrecy surrounding the funding arrangements for this affair. Why? Probably because Labour don’t want folk to know just how much they have blown of THEIR money.
There has been major disruption in the Birmingham area for months - to people and businesses and the costs of this is not factored into such sparse information as is available on the losses to date. And as ever with these con jobs, we are promised some sort of “legacy” from the Games which is always opaque and unquantifiable. At present the “legacy” is invisible.
And what legacy? Yes we will have a new athletics arena and that is no bad thing but it could have been funded differently in any event without all the rest of the hoopla. Birmingham has massive problems with poverty and homelessness - had the multi-millions of public money been spent on housing instead of a downmarket sporting event would this not constitute a real “legacy”?
Socialists love spending other people’s money, of course, and it is noteworthy that these clowns made no attempt to plan for even this poundshop frolic. In recent times, new “aquatic centres” were built in Coventry and at Birmingham University which could have served- with proper design - for the 2022 Games. Alas both new-builds did not “meet competition standards”.
When you lot disappear after your two-week jolly we will have to return to shocking infrastructure, dire housing (both Council and private “houses of multiple occupation”), struggling/failing businesses, squalour, and general deprivation.
Games - The Sandwell Background
If Birmingham is the “body” of the West Midlands conurbation, Sandwell is its arse. This urban dystopia is where your swimmers will be competing in the brand new pool.
Sandwell is a post-industrial sh*thole which has been a Labour (nominally socialist) Dictatorship for 48 years - during which time the area has become one of the most deprived in the whole country. After 48 years of total control the Labour Party boasts, yes boasts, how local children are starving on the streets (a curious claim from the Dictatorship when, statistically, Sandwell has a major child obesity problem). Surely these hopeless people need bread, not circuses?
A few years ago, the bent Labour Council controversially decided to almost totally destroy arts and cultural provision in the hellhole. The (then) Labour “leader” (a thuggish wife-beater who may have fitted in well “down under” given your country’s own penchant for that particular form of brutality) infamously stated in his ignorant fashion, “the Arts are sh*t”. Meanwhile, the comrades poured public money into sport with new leisure centres springing up run by what was supposed to be an arms-length charity, Sandwell Leisure Trust (SLT). Multi-millions were diverted from the relief of poverty for these debt-fuelled new facilities.
When their socialist “comrades” in Birmingham offered the moronic Dictatorship the poison pill of hosting the “aquatic events” for 2022 (i.e. sharing the costs) they jumped at the chance with NO PLANNING WHATSOEVER and with NO local consultation at all.
The first problem was where the hell to build the new paddling pool “at a cost of £15m”. Hilariously (if you have that sort of sense of humour) the Dictatorship actually drew up a list of any patch of green space where they could quickly build a pool. Some of the sites were not actually owned by the Council and discounted. One was the famous Warley Woods but this was too politically sensitive and so Labour simply decided to destroy Londonderry Fields, a green space hemmed in entirely by houses and with rotten transport infrastructure for the development.
The Dictatorship rushed the decision to destroy the Fields through the Council ignoring the objections of locals. The Council then granted planning permission to itself and more or less started building immediately so as to finish for the Games deadline. Despite the £15m price tag the Labour Leader boasted that the project was “on budget” at £73m in this horrendously deprived area. Labour forced the construction workers to keep going through various Covid lockdowns so as to finish on time.
There was no planning WHATSOVER for this major project. Instead the socialists tried to sell this t*rd to the Sandwell public (who are, admittedly, as thick as pig sh*t) as a “legacy” for the Borough. It is true that locals will, if they can get to it, have a shiny new pool at horrendous cost but you should note that the comrades are CLOSING TWO POOLS to pay for this one!
One of the pools being closed is an art deco Grade II listed heritage asset, but when asked what would happen to it when the new pool is open to the public, a particularly absurd Labour Councillor imagined that the dirt poor area could spend even more public money so that it could be put to “some sort of community use”. Even now, just a short time before the Games there is no plan for this site. Noting the high crime rate in Sandwell perhaps one “legacy” of this madness will be the deserted building burning down in the middle of the night?
(On the subject of crime, I imagine that your team are probably staying in a desirable hotel in Birmingham or beyond and being bussed in and out through the narrow streets to the paddling pool. If your team members are planning a night out in Sandwell be sure to remind them of the local lawlessness and that some areas are “no go”. Also, the streets of Sandwell are infamous for being smeared with dog excrement so be warned - if they venture into Sadders they will spend more time in the poo than in the pool.)
The hapless Labour Councillors wanted SLT to run the new pool when it actually opens to the plebs in 2023 but they engineered a dispute with the charity and “sacked them” from the contract. At present, it is unknown who will actually run the “legacy” paddling pool. So much for “socialist planning”!
In passing, there is only one Labour MP left in Sandwell now after others were routed in the 2019 election and he is the MP for Smethwick, home of the new pool. John Spellar (aka The Gnome of Bromley) is a pathetic greaser who actually lives 100+ miles away in South London. He is notorious for travelling the world on parliamentary freebies including to your own colonial outpost. But your Australian dollars have been well spent as The Gnome frequently raises matters antipodean in our own Mother of Parliaments.
Many of your competitors will be youngsters and not much older that the large number of local children physically, sexually and mentally abused during the Labour Dictatorship to such an extent that our national Government had to step in and stop Labour from running local Children’s Services. Earlier this year, the Labour corruption, cronyism and incompetence in Sandwell became so bad, the Government was forced to put the whole Council in special measures for two years.
The Royals
I will not bend the knee to our grotesque monarchy and it always amazes me that you colonials still feel the need to do so.
When Sandwell Labour decided to destroy the vital green space at Londonderry Fields there was one small problem. Part of the site was supposedly held in trust as playing fields for the people of Sandwell in perpetuity. Unfortunately for those deprived people, the trust is administered by a so-called charity, Fields in Trust. This is in fact, a royal family front-organisation (formed by Royal Charter) whose President is “Prince” William, the Duke of Cambridge. Fields in Trust is an important part of their propaganda machine.
The “Commonwealth” and its Games are highly-important to our monarchy and these spongers will be out in force at the Birmingham Durbar to accept the plaudits of grovellers from former slave states, penal colonies etc. No doubt your swimmers will be expected to parade before them at some point and pay their obeisance.
Naturally, Fields in Trust were only too happy to alter the Trust (again with no consultation with locals) and remove the playing field status of Londonderry Fields elsewhere so that the green lung could be choked with concrete and chlorine for your convenience.
The Black Country
Sh*thole Sandwell is part of an area known as “The Black Country”. I doubt your swimmers will see much of it as their air-conditioned coaches get in and out as quickly as possible.
No-one knows where Sandwell actually is (it was a made-up name for 6 grotty towns in a 1970’s local government reorganisation). The locals are astonishingly parochial and insular. There are folk in Tipton who would no more travel to Birmingham than they would to the moon.
After 48 years of Labour Dictatorship, Sandwell has a dire educational record, so that it is not surprising that so many locals are thick and ignorant. Like uneducated people around the globe, Sandwell folk cling to “the old ways” and revel in their own ignorance - in particular, talking in a comical local patois. As above, it is unlikely that your teams will be meet these yam-yams (as Brummies call them) - although some of the ghastly Labour Councillors will no doubt force themselves on your administrators and managers. (Just in case any of your party are Jewish you should also note that there are a number of people in Sandwell Labour who are rabidly antisemitic.)
To greet your teams the socialists have spent loads of public money putting up signs using Black Country dialect to propagate the lie that the fool’s paradise is “bostin” (very good). Perhaps some of your lads and wenches will spot some of these as they speed in and out of Sandwell under police escort every morning and evening? (Oh, and by the way, the local cops are bent too!)
The Environment
Your present Government seems to be taking green issues more seriously than its predecessors. We have watched from afar as your Great Barrier Reef bleaches out, while floods and firestorms scourge your land. Meanwhile you carry on mining fossil fuels and undertaking carbon unfriendly activities. We are told here that you Aussies are frequently climate change deniers.
Normally, young people are quite switched on to green issues but your team will no doubt ignore that the pool was built at the expense of the rapidly diminishing green space still left by the socialists (and tomorrow they plan to give the go ahead for yet more green space destruction).They presumably won’t care about the air miles clocked up, the greenhouse effects caused by concrete production, the traffic pollution during the Games and a myriad other environmental issues surrounding this circus. Still, as long as they get a week in the pool all will be well with them. They can put their fingers in their ears and sing “la, la,la”.
Accordingly, perhaps I can invite them for a swim in some of the other local “pools” - though I wouldn’t recommend it. My friend Ian Carroll (The Gooseman) writes a great blog, “What Lies Beneath the Rattlechain Lagoon” which describes the industrial poisoning of Rattlechain Lagoon and other water pools and courses in the area*. I enclose pictures or two local pools if the Dolphins fancy a dip. Right now birds and wildlife are being poisoned within spitting distance of the aquatic centre. What a legacy it would have been to clean all this horrendous mess up with public money instead of blowing it in a rubbishy competition!

This is the reality of the Socialist Dictatorship of Sandwell. I hope one day your competitors will come back and see how horrible it really is. Maybe they may even try to do something to help the vile local area and its chronically enfeebled population. Now that would be a legacy.

Bent Sandwell Labour has resurrected the corrupt deal to destroy Lion Farm Fields - as I warned they had before the May elections. But as The Sandwell Scum Counter* shows, there are 8,603 scum in Langley Ward who actively support, or else condone, Labour corruption in the Borough and seemingly don't give a sh*t about losing this vital green space.
I was the first journalist to spot Labour's Lion Farm bent deal and initially brought it to the attention of Sandwell in 2015. This blog has regularly featured the fraud, and so there is no need for me to rehearse the story in detail. A brief outline will suffice.
Jeremy Knight Adams (JKA), a property developer, Tory Party donor and friend of the Conservative Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street (who constantly refers to him as "Jeremy"), bought property off the son of a former Labour Deputy Leader of the Council. JKA was duly "introduced" to Sandwell with a view to buying a colossal green space - Lion Farm Fields:
From 2012 Sandwell Labour tried to force the deal through and granted JKA a legal Option on the basis he would destroy the Fields and build a "luxury" shopping village on it. The site is NOT in a planning zone which permits development of this type.
Right from the start, some of the Labour Councillors who have featured so heavily in this blog were inevitably involved - notably Simon Hackett and Paul Moore. With their cronies they tried to hide what they were doing by heavily redacting the official minutes of meetings and referring to the fraud as "Junction 2 Regeneration".
As I have repeatedly pointed out, JKA did NOT fulfil his obligations under the agreement but, nevertheless, Sandwell Labour has consistently lied that he did. I took them to an Information Rights Tribunal which cravenly upheld their rights to keep the documentation secret.
The sh*t hit the fan when Cradley Speedway applied to make the site an Asset of Community Value. By now, the Labour "leader" was Steve "Squealing" Eling, who institutionalised corruption in SMBC to a remarkable degree. Eling and his cronies - including the current Leader, Kerrie Carmichael - attempted to polish this turd by purporting to give the bent deal RETROSPECTIVE legality.
Eling re-employed Dr [of Education] Alison Knight as Regeneration Supremo. As I have stated elsewhere, (see Skidders passim and legal notice below) Knight had been a disastrous employee in a first stint in the Rotten Borough. It was widely stated that Knight was a member of that vanishingly small group, "the friends of Pam Pulsford" (aka Mrs Steve Eling) although I am sure that would not have influenced The Squealer in any way.
She was only re-employed about 4 weeks before a rigged Cabinet Meeting and, together with Cllr Paul "The Cipher" Moore (as above, in this sh*tshow from the beginning), produced a shockingly inaccurate report upon which the Cabinet made its decision (Skidder passim) to continue with the plan to destroy the site. Just by way of ONE example, she and Moore falsely stated in the Report that JKA had purchased adjoining land to facilitate the development when he had not. As I later showed via some solid journalism, the hapless Knight had done little or no work herself on the Report but had obtained all the information she used from, er, Jeremy Knight Adams! Nevertheless, despite Moore and Knight's grossly deceptive Report, and the whole deal being tainted with fraud and illegality, Eling's Cabinet agreed to let JKA's Option continue.
The Labour Councillors who are still on the Council who voted for the bent deal in November, 2017 were:
Kerry Carmichael; Simon Hackett, Paul Moore, Elaine Costigan and Ann Shackleton.
[Incidentally, Knight was eventually forced to re-apply for her job which she didn't get - although she may have received a huge pay-off. She sought revenge on me and gave instructions to Surjit Tour and the other solicitors involved in the McNally conspiracy to f*ck me over in the High Court - more on that soon.]
It is now 2022 and JKA's Option is over a decade old. But at the January Cabinet meeting - after the press and public were kicked out - there was a curious agenda item concerning discussions with "JKA". I have been trying to find out what has been going on. There is a totally unconfirmed rumour that Interim Chief Executive/Government Commissioner Kim Bromley Derry, himself a property developer, has been in personal talks with JKA - which I am sure he will wish to confirm or deny.
BUT - JKA HAS been having cosy chats with the Comrades and now has until December to formulate a plan to destroy the Fields and here's the actual proof:
Needless to say bent Labour are YET again keeping this whole thing secret. Sandwell scum will be the last to know.
Strangely, given that JKA is a Tory Party donor, the local Conservative Councillors have, to their credit, always spoken out AGAINST the development (unlike Andy Street) yet they have not said a word about any of this to me nor, as far as I now, anyone else. Why not?
The anti-development Campaign Group was hijacked by right-wing serial election failure, Pete Durnell, who has also been totally silent on these recent developments.
Hypocrites like Labour Cllrs Rich Jones (the current Mayor) and Ellen Fenton bang on in the next-door ward about the importance of saving green spaces with the full knowledge that their Party is trying to destroy Lion Farm Fields! Not to mention Busted Bostan! And nice to see Tankie Bob Piper brown nosing a Tory donor!
On the day before the election I was down on Lion Farm with my megaphone. I also did a publicly-available video interview with the Liberal candidate in Langley, Clive Heywood, from the actual Fields. We both warned local people that a vote for Labour was a vote to destroy this vital green lung in this heavily urbanised area. But no-one listened.
Bizarrely, Eling and Jan Britton banned the Solicitor investigators who produced the deeply flawed Wragge Report from investigating the bent deal (although Wragge's did mention the possibility of illegality in a short reference to the fraud). Why did Eling and Britton do that?
Dave Thompson, The Chief Constable of West Midlands, who has bent over backwards to protect corrupt Sandwell Labour, also refused an investigation into what has gone on here. He is going soon and so perhaps there is a tiny chance a more independently-minded Top Rozzer will take up this case?
Lion Farm and people of Sandwell who value the ever-shrinking green space - you must now organise and fight this Labour dictatorship with all you have got!
Demonstrations
I have been in communication with West Midlands Police about having a small designated area near to pool at the Commonwealth Games for two demonstrations about (a) Labour's destruction of green space in Sandwell (which, of course, includes the pool site), and (b) the multi-million pound losses Labour are incurring with this handjob event.
There are also people who want to demonstrate at the baton relay and I will be pleased to discuss this with any interested parties. Perhaps the taxi drivers, Brandhall campaigners, other environmental groups and any Lion Farm folk who give a sh*t can join forces?

When the Government were considering putting bent Labour Sandwell Council into special measures, local Community Activist Darryl Magher and I submitted a 100-page dossier to Michael Gove [the Secretary of State for Levelling-Up] urging him to do so. We also opined that there could be no progress within the corrupt Authority until Surjit Tour [Head of Legal and the statutory Monitoring Officer since late 2017] was sacked (without compensation). Gove did send in the Commissioners (at enormous cost to taxpayers) but, curiously, appointed Kim Bromley Derry [then the Interim Chief Executive] as one of the two Commissioners. Bromley Derry [KBD] already knew what Tour was like before becoming a Commissioner. He has the power to sack him, but he has not wielded the axe. I am preparing a dossier on Tour to submit to various parties (and info very welcome) but his contempt for the rule of law is such that it appears that only legal action can bring his malfeasance to light. I am consulting lawyers but expect KBD and his fellow Commissioner to take action in the interim.
Tour had a "reputation" before he was brought in to save the skin of former Labour Leader, Steve "Squealing" Eling. He was told to ignore his statutory duties of upholding the rule of law and maintaining legal standards and to act instead FOR Labour Councillors accused of wrongdoing. He duly set himself up as their "Defence lawyer". Leaving aside "small" matters like sitting back and allowing Jan Britton and David Stevens [two disgraced former Chief Executives] to run amok, he has - and this is a non-exclusive list - subverted the standards process, prevented crucial evidence from being used in investigations, involved himself with West Midlands Police in purely political matters, subverted the Subject Access process (even using external Solicitors to make false disclosures), set up an unlawful legal fund to destroy this blog and conspired with Lisa McNally and others to use over £100,000 of public money to support her absurd private litigation. He ran rings round the hapless former Labour Leader, Cllr "Red" Yvonne Davies, who ignored my direct advice to sack him. He has been instrumental in blocking the release of the Cox Review despite the wishes of some, admittedly very weak, Labour Councillors on the Audit Committee. Tour inexplicably kept fighting the hopeless Hackett case which has cost taxpayers well in excess of £100,000 already and hasn't finished yet! Under his watch the SEND contracts tender lapsed into chaos and allegations of an attempted multi-million pound fraud. The list just goes on and on.
In his bid to protect Labour Councillors his latest stunt is to advise, and then permit, them to withhold information from their public Register of Interest entries. This is already subject to a complaint to the Information Commissioner but if KBD and his Co-Commissioner don't take action immediately to stop this illegality then appropriate legal steps will be taken.
Sandwell Labour Councillors persistently carp on about homelessness and the awfulness of private landlords but many have at least two properties. Some at least have the decency to declare their interests so that their hypocrisy is visible to all. But in exceptional cases the Monitoring Officer can withhold details of pecuniary interests and mark the Register accordingly.
This is the precise wording of the clause that 10 Labour Councillors (16% of the cohort) and Tour are conspiring to use to hide information from Sandwell people and the press:
Section 32, Localism Act 2011
32.1.(b) :- the nature of the interest is such that a member ... AND the monitoring officer consider the disclosure of the details of the interest could lead to the member ... or a person connected with the member, being subject to violence or intimidation.
You will notice my emphasis on the word "and" since the decision to hide information from the public is a joint one involving BOTH the Councillor and Tour.
Since I have been writing this blog there has been no violence or intimidation to my knowledge against any Councillor. There was a suggestion (no more than that) some time ago that a mentally-ill person had made threats against Hackett but no information was ever placed in the public domain. Of course, the only known incident of violence at Oldbury Council House was the assault by Cllr Melia on me (which he pleaded guilty to at Dudley Mags). There is no empirical evidence of ANY likelihood of violence or intimidation against ANY Sandwell Counciilor, to my knowledge.
Here are the TEN Labour scum working with Tour to abuse the law and keep information from you:
Peter Allen and his partner Maria Crompton, Aqeela Choudhury and her spouse "hardman" Rizwan Jalil, Luke Giles, Peter "Zorro" Hughes, Kay Millar, Paul Moore, Pam Randhawa, and Kirat Singh.
Paul Moore is obsessed with secrecy and has been hiding his home address for years. Has he genuinely been under threat for so many years - if he ever was? He may be particularly odious but is he really in so much danger and, if so, why did HE place his address in the public domain recently?
Wealthy Councillors Allen and Crompton used to declare that they had land on the Rowley Hills where Crompton kept her horses but that info has been removed for some reason. A while ago, ex-Labour Councillor Dave Hosell and his social media troll network, tried to make trouble for Crompton about her mother's house. She herself commented on this at the time. Her mother - very late in life- exercised right to buy her SMBC property, and Crompton whacked in a planning application to build a large extension (which I am told is still under construction). Sadly, her mother died and Crompton took out Letters of Administration some time ago but has not vested the property into her own name yet (although, as we shall also see below, there appears to be a backlog at HM Land Registry). We know that Crompton conspired with Tour to unlawfully fund McNally and also that she is as thick as mince, but hilariously she has declared her address but attempted to keep her other property interests quiet! Just think about that - this dimwit is not at risk of violence and intimidation at home in Tivi, but "might be" when at her late mother's house or out riding! This is absolutely absurd from her and her pal Tour.
Quite what the others have to hide we shall work on finding out. But the Kirat Singh case is a classic. There have been very lurid allegations on Sikh websites (which may or may not be true) about this chap of a seriousness that might cause him to fear violence. But Tour has removed his entire Register Entry from public view:
This is also absolutely ridiculous and shows utter contempt for the public and press. The Register contains information other than his address and property interests etc but also information such as whether he is a union member. There is a difference between being exposed for wrongdoing and a genuine - grounded - fear of violence and intimidation which Tour is wilfully ignoring. This matter must be reviewed instantly and if, due to the sordid claims about him, he is in fear of violence then as much of the Register as possible should still be completed and publicised.
What on earth do the morons of Wednesbury South who voted for Singh make of this?
I shall deal with Zorro below but the Commissioners should (a) suspend Tour (for this nonsense alone), and (b) thoroughly investigate these cases. Randhawa has not been able to show any cause for hiding information and, with the possible exception of Singh, I don't believe any of the others have due cause to insist on s.32 protection. (If Tour is suspended an outside Monitoring Officer must be brought in since in no circumstances must Maria Price be allowed to temporarily fulfil that role - see Skidders Passim and legal notice below, plus note her recent role in the unlawful legal fund and the unlawful funding of McNally.)
Just before we leave Zorro for a minute or two I understand that he was upset when this blog commented on the fact that whilst many of his "socialist" comrades were amassing property interests he had gone from owning his own property to renting. The question, as we shall see below, is whether the rental was a stop-gap measure ...
PART TWO
Now the story takes a new twist with the introduction into the tale of Mr Satnam Sahota, a Birmingham property developer via various companies. Mr Sahota owns two large properties on a road in Wednesbury which "bookend" a row of terraced houses. The first large building was supposed to be an old people's home but then suddenly became multiple rented flats instead (unbelievably bent Labour even put up a street sign saying "Elderly Persons Home" opposite). The second large building was a religious structure which, again, was converted to multiple rented flats.
Behind the row of terraced houses cowering beside these multiple occupancy behemoths was a triangular piece of land which stretched up to the land at the rear of the former religious building. I believe that this triangular area was owned by Sandwell Council and formerly a site for garages. I am sorry to be slightly vague here since, as above, the Land Registry records are not up to date. The current Land Registry shows two titles for the same piece of land. One owner is Sandwell Council and the other is a Sahota Company which shows a transfer of the site to it on 3rd November, 2016 (seemingly for just £20,000).
Bent Sandwell Labour have deliberately made research difficult with the new computer system which is not complete in many ways. I am only able to see Land Disposal Committee records back to July, 2015 and cannot trace, as yet, who made the decision to sell the land. However, I have traced a record which indicates that bent Labour sold the plot on 3rd November, 2016 which exactly matches the Sahota title.
A well-known Sandwell political figure tells me that Sahota "is not a bad guy" and that this particular plot of land was prone to anti-social behaviour and drug use. A number of Labour Councillors bent over backwards s/he says to assist Mr Sahota although this person claims that at one point Zorro Hughes was bad-mouthing him and calling him a "slum landlord" in respect of the two large properties referred to above. This is a pure allegation and unproven. Unfortunately, Zorro will not communicate with me and so I cannot ask him about this. IF, and I repeat "if" the allegation is true then it looks like Hughes soon changed his tune!
Having acquired the plot Mr Sahota applied for planning permission in 2017 for 4 semi-detached bungalows and a detached one on the space. (The record is missing on the SMBC website (?), but there is reference to it being in some way invalid and so Sahota had to try again with a new application in 2018). During 2017 he had planning help from a "Principal" Sandwell planning officer, Christine Phillips. It should be noted that the access to the site is by a very narrow road clogged with parked cars (I have visited the site twice including this morning and heaven knows how you would get a fire engine down there ...)
As we shall see below, the locals were dead against further development. If the work proceeded they would be surrounded on three sides by Sahota properties. They nicknamed the immediate area "Sahotaville" and, here again, the story takes an extraordinary twist.
No Sandwell Labour story is complete without an appearance of the Bent Blues aka corrupt West Midlands Police. This blog has noted before that the Wednesbury cops are always up the derriere of local Labour and are effectively controlled by a civilian "Gold Commander", Cllr "Inane" Elaine Costigan. This was handy during the Wednesbury Celebrates debacle (Skidders passim) where a lead protagonist in that uninvestigated scandal was, er, Cllr "Inane" Elaine Costigan!
A local resident referred on social media to living in "Sahotaville" and that night received a phone call from a Wednesbury Police Sergeant ordering him to remove the post as it was "racist". This is complete b*llocks since if I had been the developer residents may have dubbed the area "Saundersville". It is simply a conflation of a name and a word for a settlement as in "Jonestown" of massacre infamy, and there is nothing remotely racist about it.
It is not clear who this Sergeant was purporting to act for when harassing the local resident who, quite rightly, saw the intervention of the Bent Blues as a total joke. But with the post still in situ next morning, two uniformed officers appeared at his front door and ordered him to take it down! Like many people faced with such appalling bullying, the unfortunate victim reluctantly complied.
What the hell was going on here? Let's hope the Bent Blues now investigate this!
PART THREE
What words can one use for the grotesque Cllr Peter "Zorro" Hughes, aka "Alberich"? Strutting buffoon? Moron? Vulgarian? Bore of the Century? (Answers on a postcard please).
This tedious nonentity appals and delights in equal measure. Most of the time he is tiresome, but his ludicrous self-regard and pomposity can be comedy gold! Yet it is truly astonishing that the current Labour "leader", Kerrie "Dim Kez" Carmichael has put this contemptible man in her Cabinet.
We also saw recently his disgraceful plan to destroy Goldicroft Park behind the backs of adjoining residents.
Even with his extreme egotism surely Alberich could not imagine that anyone would be interested enough to subject him to violence or intimidation (with the possible exception of those who have suffered his interminable monologues in the Council chamber lol!) Thus I immediately became suspicious when he and Tour hid his address on the Register of Interests. It stank and, accordingly, I started digging to see what he and Tour were up to. And this is what I found ...
If Zorro ever did badmouth Mr Sahota he soon became very interested in the bungalows planned for the triangular plot. As above, SMBC's officer assisted Sahota despite an invalid application. On 8th January, 2018 Mr Sahota made a new, valid, application and ON THE VERY SAME DAY Christine Phillips wrote to Sahota, copying-in Zorro (now see addendum below):
"I have fixed up a meeting for Thursday 18th January at xxxxxxxxxxxx apartments [in Sahotaville] at 2.15pm. I did send you a meeting invite via email yesterday. I am hoping this is convenient to you and your architect. Councillor Peter Hughes will also be in attendance."
So Zorro was directly involved right from the first day of the second application. He was not on the Planning Committee although he was - and is - a (useless) ward Councillor.
Addendum 04/07/22
When I wrote this post I missed something concerning the date of the email from Christine Phillips to the developer - copying in Alberich.
I referred to the “invalid” 2017 planning application. Another application was submitted but not until 8th January, 2018. On it, it was stated that Sahota had received pre-application advice from “Principal Planning Officer” Phillips in “August 2017”.
But the point I missed is that Phillips email to Sahota was dated 5th January, 2021 (and not the 8th as originally stated) and also referred to contact on the previous day. In other words, and this was not mentioned on the application, Phillips and Zorro Hughes were in cahoots with Sahota at least four days before he even made the revised application!
Sahotaville is a small area but the locals rose up as one to object to the application. Three letters were submitted with one including a 27-signature petition against the plan. But despite concerns noted by some Councillors regarding the parking situation and the very narrow access road, the Planning Committee of 25th April, 2018 ignored the locals and gave approval subject to conditions. One member of the Planning Committee who declared no interest but approved the application was Councillor Pam Hughes, wife of Zorro.
Building started after a while and locals were further dismayed to find that, contrary to the planning permission, Sahota was adding windows in the rear roofs which overlooked the gardens of the existing properties. Thus on 15th February, 2021 Mr Sahota was obliged to make a retrospective application to try to right his wrong and, again, despite five local objections, this also raced through and was granted on 7th April, 2021.
Early last year a persistent rumour was circulating that Zorro and his Mrs were looking for "a bungalow". At the 7th April, 2021 Planning Committee Cllr Pam Hughes was present and approved the application. Again there was no declaration of interest from her. (Pam Hughes is no longer a Councillor).
I am sure you will have guessed by now where this is going. Sahota built the five bungalows, Zorro left his address but kept his new address secret with Tour's connivance. Local residents then confirmed numerous sightings of Alberich in, er, Sahotaville.
Yesterday I checked at HM Land Registry but none of the five new properties have yet been registered and so I visited there myself early this morning. Zorro's car was outside the address he and Tour are trying to conceal. Alas because of the Land Registry position I cannot say whether he has purchased the property or is renting.
At the May Council meeting I asked Zorro about his relationship with Mr Sahota but he declined to respond. You can see the encounter on this video (he hoves into a view a few seconds into the footage):
Let's hope KBD will arrange for a full investigation into all this and oblige Zorro to finally complete the Register properly. And what do you think readers - do you think Zorro is hiding because he's scared or because he and Tour didn't want you to know the above?
