BAME Councillors Flout Covid Rules!

BAME folk do seem to have been disproportionately affected by The Great Plague and so one imagines that those who purport to be "community leaders", er, provide community leadership. Alas, some of them are flagrantly breaching "the rules".

This blog has recorded the recent shocking Covid anctics of "Condom Man" - Cllr M. Y. Hussain (aka "Billa") of our very own bent Labour Sandwell Council:

(Incidentally, Billa's poor behaviour has been PRAISED by Labour's West Mids Mayor wannabe, Liam Byrne - he of **that** infamous Treasury note. Read The Skidder, Liam!)

Last Sunday "Midlands Pakistani Kashmiri Councillors" were invited to a meeting at a Birmingham restaurant, the Karahi King Village on Warwick Road, although some guests travelled from further afield. Alas I cannot show you the photos as copyright has been claimed but, if they don't swiftly disappear, you can see them on Facebook at either "World News TV" or at "S M Irfan Tahir". (I have screenshots natch.) Suffice to say that a number of folk are packed into a small section of the restaurant with no attempt whatsoever at "social distancing".

The gents sitting cheek by jowl in a confined indoor space included such luminaries as the outgoing Mayor of Worcester, Cllr Allah Ditta (actually a Tory) and long-distance guest, the Tory Mayor of High Wycombe, Mazammil Hussain. This latter joker - who didn't "zoom" up the M40 [groan] - was quoted in the Bucks Free Press as saying, "the vast majority [of residents of High Wycombe] have listened to the instructions and [are] following the guidelines which is great..." He added, "I hope everyone stays safe and listens to the guidelines, and hopefully we can pull through this tough time together." One rule for one.....

Others in attendance (who may or may not be councillors) were Abid Hussain, Khadam Hussain, Ch Ishtiaq Lehri, Hadiz Wajid, Raja Ishtiaq, Mohammed Ishtiaq, Mujahid Hussain (said to be the restaurant owner), Dr Saboor Javed (hopefully not a medic), Cllr Asim Rashid "and others". As above, photos show them packed into a confined space.

AND AT LEAST THREE SERVING LABOUR COUNCILLORS FROM BENT SANDWELL WERE PRESENT AND BREAKING SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES!

Photographs show Cllr Ahmad Bostan (a blind Councillor who may occasionally require close assistance), Cllr Zahir Hussain and our old pal, Cllr Mohammad Rouf.

It was not long ago that (thankfully) the NHS performed brilliantly to help Cllr Hussain's own family and one might think that he would be keen to promote good practice to avoid extra burden on the sainted organisation.  Cllr Rouf notoriously "volunteers" to work long unpaid hours at the NHS- approved Midnight Pharmacy at Cape Hill. Yet this trio were prepared to flout the rules and advertise the fact on social media!

[It is not clear whether there was a cartoon version of the meeting's theme so that Cllr Rouf could follow what was going on....]

Cllr Bostan has been a vocal critic of Dominic Cummings. He has tweeted about obeying the covid guidleines and himself raised the issue of the effect of the disease on BAME people. In typical Labour Sandwell style he pleaded with people to "please ensure social distancing" whilst shafting us all (metaphorically) up the derriere.

I THINK IT IS ONLY FAIR THAT ALL COUNCILLORS ATTENDING THIS SHINDIG ISSUE A PUBLIC APOLOGY DON'T YOU READERS?

Whilst on the subject of Cllr Rouf, I came across this document again the other day. Regular readers will know that this blog exposed the bent deal (not involving Cllr Rouf....) involving the land where his 7-bedroom home now stands in Florence Road, Smethwick (posts passim as nauseum.) The late wife-beater and pal of Jess Phillips MP, Darren Cooper (then "leader" of the corrupt Council pictured above with Mo), was behind the deal but after his death in a booze'n'drugs binge the Elingites tried to shift the blame onto an enemy of the new tyrranical Leader [sic], Steve "Squealing" Eling. I think this document makes it crystal clear who made the running here don't you readers? (PS the recipient is one of Rouf's sons....)
