Sandwell Labour Shocker!

Rhi Storer works for a leftie media organisation, Reach (aka Retch) Plc - publishers of, inter alia, the pro-Labour Birmingham Mail. Whisper it softly, but Rhi is a bit of a leftie herself. However, she has been a breath of fresh air in her short time covering Sandwell against a backdrop of mainstream media Labour bias. She has been even-handed, but diligent and fearless enough to savage Sandwell Labour on various counts.

This week she dug up another great story (with colleague Kate Knowles) that bent Labour Sandwell Council has - allegedly - referred itself to the Registrar of Social Housing (a Government watchdog) after 1,245 Sandwell homes were found to have no, or no adequate, electrical safety certificates. Electrical checks had not been carried on in "hundreds" of homes for over 10 years (and as bent Labour have been "in charge" - no pun intended - for 48 years, this is totally down to them). Once again, the so-called "socialists" have shafted locals - which, as my last blog showed, is exactly what they deserve.

Alas, Rhi is also now having to cover Birmingham as well as Sandwell, but we must all hope that she can continue shining a (safe, battery-operated) light on the multiple failures of a deeply corrupt Labour Council.

Bent Labour's Cheap Electricity Award!

As electricity bills go through the roof worldwide who knew that bent Labour Sandwell Council were doing so much to insulate - pun intended - the local morons from this - hopefully temporary - pain.

Let me just digress slightly to tell you again about the sick "awards industry". Whilst there are some legitimate UK awards schemes which are open and transparent, these affairs are usually business scams. A commercial company will decide to set up an award for, say, the best restaurant in an area. They will then contact every eatery and claim that each has been "shortlisted" in one of a whole host of "specialist categories"- best desi pub; best chippy; best "Indian" etc. The proprietors are then invited to buy seats at an expensive awards ceremony and, if they are mug enough to fall for this, they end up paying through the nose for a night-out and possibly getting a meaningless "certificate" at the end of it.

Of course, the organiser of one such meaningless "event", The British Kebab Awards, is none other than Ibrahim "Bogus" Dogus, the failed Labour candidate for West Brom East in the 2019 General Election. Equally (in)famous for trying to get his auntie to smuggle money to Turkey for him, Londoner Bogus charges these colossal sums to attend this year's "award ceremony" in London:

Standard seat: £300; Premium seat: £440; Standard table of 10: £2,400; Premium table of 10: £3,600.

These events are usually also financially sponsored by a gig economy outfit such as Just Eats.

(Happily, some members of WBE Labour Party have enjoyed free tickets to these shindigs which are usually enlivened [sic] by a speech from Bogus's personal friend, the great anti-capitalist lothario, Jerry "Jeremy" Corbyn.)

Given bent Sandwell Labour's corruption, cronyism and incompetence it is always worth looking closely at any "award" the Council receives. Thus I was surprised when the intensely pro-Sandwell Labour Express and Star (aka The Wolvo C*cksuckers), trumpeted that Sadders had won the "Midlands award" for saving energy and helping residents out of fuel poverty. Eh?

The write-up on the award didn't mention a single actual achievement that merited public recognition but simply a "true commitment" to promoting energy efficiency and fuel poverty (whatever that means).

The piece was written by The Star's resident pervy, misogynist reporter, Adam Smith. He is a catspaw of Sandwell Labour and a vocal propagandist for his pals. When he is not "tearing up some quim", he settles down to write about women in derogatory terms. Usually females are "bints" or "slags" - except one. The notorious p*sshead metaphorically gets one off the wrist at the mere mention of the name "Kerrie Carmichael". And Sandwell Labour's hapless "leader" whispers confidences into his ear such as the details of an email I sent her on a delicate subject.

I am not sure if Smith is on a retainer from Sandwell Labour, but he is determined that The Star will provide a positive platform for the witterings of Dim Kez at every opportunity. Thus this sleazy character breathlessly quoted his beloved Kez, "With partners like AgilityEco we will continue to improve the efficiency of the borough's existing housing stock." (Presumably when Labour has sorted the electrics out - see above!)

Smith continued to explain that the very same "partners", AgilityEco, had been the ones who had, er, nominated Sadders for the award in the first place. In other words, bent Labour agrees a taxpayer-funded contract or contracts with a Company which then gives it public recognition! I don't know about you readers, but this "award" is beginning to sound a bit tawdry isn't it?

The Star's sicko scribbler was sober enough to add comments from one Lorraine Gumbs of, er, AgilityEco who said, "I have worked WITH Sandwell Council for over 20 years". Note the word "with". This sounds like some sort of arms-length, er, "partnership".

Neither Smith nor Dim Kez went on to tell you that Ms Gumbs worked for a non-profit Company called "Warm Zones" which was somehow actually embedded within Sandwell Council. It is not clear who was paying Gumbs but she was given an official email account: 

Info welcome on this (contact details below), but we can tell from this that (a) Gumbs was actually very closely connected with bent Labour Sandwell "for 20 years" (including the period when Dim Kez was in the Cabinet) and so much so that she had a SMBC email and an address at Smethwick Council House, (b) Sandwell worked with a non-profit on various projects, (c) Gumbs left Warm Zones and the "socialists" at bent Labour now prefer to contract with a profit-making company which employs Gumbs, and (d) Gumbs and Agility Eco nominated Sandwell for an award.

Not long ago West Brom East Labour Party (WBELP) claimed the disgusting people of that area were unable to acquire lavatory paper (and so were presumably walking around with faeces smeared around their bottoms). Labour came to the rescue by having bog paper delivered via Bogus Dogus in London! I think this so-called "award" should be delivered to WBE for someone to wipe their arse on it, as that's all it's fit for!

Just to end on this, bent Sandwell Labour keeps harping on about giving contracts to local firms. But AgilityEco is in genteel Hove (Sussex), and in Sutton (Surrey), far away from the ghastly Sadders sh*thole.

As we have seen for years, Sandwell Labour Councillors are happy to keep the Borough a poverty ghetto, and despise private enterprise (whilst many of them seek personal enrichment). But the comrades are also trying to make out that they are, somehow, "green" and are throwing money at anything with even the merest tinge of that colour. Green capitalism is very much alive and well as the eco industry expands apace. Where there's "net zero", there's brass - and private industry is raking in the lolly.

I am sure the likes of wealthy Comrade Piper are pleased that, whereas bent Labour formerly dealt with a non-profit, Agility are doing very nicely thank-you. There were originally 3 owners of Agility, now down to two experienced guys. As ever, they are not involved with just this company but have multiple directorships. past and present. In the last filed accounts, Agility Eco (actually part of a group of companies) boasts of its mission to "end fuel poverty" by 2030 (which is surely something only the Government can actually do?) Happily, poverty doesn't begin at home and the Directors report a turnover of £28m. Gross margin zoomed to a very healthy 22.6%, up from 16.9% the previous year.

There is a special place in hell within absurd Labour circles for "private equity", and so Dim Kez will be pleased to note that Agility Eco sold a significant stake of its business to private equity in November, 2019. The ultimate private equity owner is Bridge Fund Management Limited, experts in "sustainable and impact-driven investment". In a beautiful touch of irony, Bridge recently won an, er, "award", at the 2022 Private Equity Awards!

And Finally - Spellar Comes Good (for the bookies)

There are seven Sandwell wards in the parliamentary constituency of Warley - Abbey (Bearwood), Bristnall, Langley, Old Warley, St Pauls, Smethwick and Soho & Vic. Following the May elections and as shown in my last post:

we can say that at the present time around 60,358 of the people who live there are scum who support Labour corruption in Sandwell, explicitly or implicitly. At least they get what they deserve in respect of their absentee MP, pathetic greaser, John Spellar.

The Gnome of Bromley is said to be heading for the House of Lords at the next election, where us taxpayers will continue to enrich him despite his hopelessness. There he will have even more time to rake in dosh via directorships and consultancies.

Curiously, local morons may love Labour corruption but a lot of Warley residents are not keen on the gambling industry (unlike former lazy Labour WBE MP, Tom "Twatson" Watson, who went to work for the bookies after running away from the seat he had soiled for so long). Even the real b*stards of the Borough, the bullsh*tting Berghaus Bolshies of Bearwood are moaning that their ghastly High Street (the splendid Midland pub excepted) is chock-full of gambling arcades.

Payback time! This greaser has recently spoken up in the House of Commons on behalf of his new pals in, er, the gambling industry, urging fellow MP's in a debate on the introduction of a gambling levy to note that millions enjoy gambling and that abuse is "going down". Happily, The Gnome declared his financial interests - so that's alright then!
