And so The Skidder can EXCLUSIVELY reveal that The Sandwell Slasher, Cllr Simon "Two Homes" Hackett, has been on the receiving end of a detailed "protocol" letter from solicitors seeking damages against him personally FROM A FELLOW LABOUR COUNCILLOR!
We have had "comrades at war" as Eling splits the local Party and now we have "comrades at law"!
We understand that the legal claim arises from one of the same complaints (of five) that Hackett faced in a hushed-up Standards investigation (see posts passim.)
As I understand it, Hackett came into possession of highly confidential information considering a child related to a fellow Labour Councillor. He came upon the information legitimately but then rushed to blab it to the late Smethwick Scumbag, Darren Cooper. He then disclosed the confidential information again to other councillors and to at least one SMBC employee, Jane Perham.
A Standards "Final" Report was issued several months later following interviews with a number of councillors and the notorious Perham. This is what it concluded:
"We have determined that there is a breach of the Code of Conduct in that a member must not disclose any information given them as a member in breach of confidence."
Tom "Lazy Tom" Watson MP wasn't going to have one of his puppets in the bent Labour Council humiliated in this way. Despite the fact that they had said nothing for months Sp*nk Brother Cllr Steve Eling and Cllr Syeda Khatun suddenly remembered a slightly different version of events. The "final report" was then amended "lol" to a final, final report to include their evidence and Hackett was exonerated. My fellow pisshead scribbler, Adam Smith, obeyed his orders as usual and duly, er, splashed, "Hackett is Innocent" b*llocks on the front page of The Halesowen News.
Hackett was in charge of Sandwell Labour's disastrous Children's Services and was also Chair of Trustees of The Albion Foundation. He had child safeguarding responsibilities but forget all about his legal status so as to disclose confidential information for Labour party political purposes.
I understand that the Councillor whose child relative was used in this way complained to the Office of the Information Commissioner which, unsurprisingly given the facts, found that Hackett and Sandwell Council had breached Data Protection Law by acting as they did. Hackett was most certainly NOT "innocent". Bizarrely, The Skidder has seen an email from Hackett to Derek Rowley confirming that he HAD disclosed the confidential information and yet this creep continues to claim his innocence!!!!
The Skidder understands that it is the same aggrieved Councillor who has initiated the claim against Hackett but awaits definitive confirmation of this. But the truth stands a good chance of coming out now despite The Milkman's feeble efforts!

But the pathetic excuse for a "Chief Executive" has NOT suspended Jones from duty - I saw him myself forming part of the increasingly paranoid Milkman's "ring of steel" around Sandwell Council House on Tuesday night protecting Labour Councillors from having to talk to members of the public.
Yet, in the meantime, a Sandwell Labour Party figure contacted me claiming to be doing so on behalf of Warden Jones's trade union. I must stress that this was ONLY what the Labour person SAID and it may not be true so that caution must be exercised as to what weight to give this evidence. The person said that Jones was "bricking himself" about losing his job which would be grossly unfair as he definitely DID issue Hackett with a fixed penalty notice for urinating in a bus shelter. If it is true that it was quashed then it was "the people upstairs" who did that and Jones was not involved in any way in that decision.
In my earlier blog I said it was strange that Jones did NOT issue a FPN to Hackett if he genuinely did not know who he was..... However, Warden Jones was given the clear opportunity to tell the truth about this matter when interviewed in 2016 in respect of the Standards investigation into Slasher Hackett but, as far as I can tell, he failed to do so and colluded in the ongoing cover-up. His truthfulness remains in issue but if his Union want to tell the real story they should contact SMBC or myself accordingly.
[If Jones has been guilty of misfeasance in public office and/or conspiracy to pervert the course of justice this calls into question other fixed penalty notices he has issued. Please contact The Skidder by email if Jones has ever "booked" you.]
But then this! This is from a written statement to the Standards Investigation by Cllr Ian Jones given to SMBC Solicitor Stewart Wright and Auditor Tim Groom on 16th June, 2016. In law, his comments are hearsay evidence but it does support what Warden Jones is ALLEGEDLY saying:
"I have been asked about my knowledge of an incident involving Councillor Hackett urinating in public. I was aware of this when ex-Councillor Derek Rowley mentioned it. He told me and the leader about a Council Warden issuing a fix [sic] penalty ticket to Cllr Hackett for urinating in a bus shelter and said he [query whether he means Hackett or Rowley] had paid it, he also said that an MP was present at the time. [It is not clear whether he means an MP was with The Slasher when he pissed in the street of if the MP was at the meeting when this was discussed.] I did not really have any involvement with this and The Leader said to ex-Cllr Rowley, your [sic] the Whip you deal with it."
If this is true then Warden Jones is in the clear in respect of the original incident (though not necessarily, depending on what he actually said, in trying to mislead his employers during the Standards investigation.) Again, IF this is true a number of other employees and ex-employees have openly lied about what happened. If it is not true, that brings us back to whether a number of employees conspired to pervert the course of justice. I will now formally refer this next week to West Midlands Police as people are clearly lying here.
It would be an absolute tragedy if an innocent man lost his job here because of the misguided actions of others but with his socialist and trade union "principles" "lol" Hackett doesn't given a flying f*ck about that as long as he keeps his own arse covered. Come on Slasher - grow a pair and tell us the truth!
