Carter is the statutory s151 officer ie he is supposed to be in charge of the finances. The end of March was the end of the financial year for the bent Borough and so April is just the time when the Finance supremo should be Johnny/Jilly on the spot (and that is without the small matter of, er, the Covid crisis.) Carter was heavily involved in the absurd decision to wrongfully suspend the cabinet secretaries (posts passim and more to come soon!) Indeed this groveller has tried to absolve former leader/tyrant (and Unison member) Steve "Squealing" Eling from any involvement in the mega-scandal and is taking the rap himself (good luck with that Dazza!) He has, however, been suspended from his post and is facing disciplinary action for reasons unknown. His big mate, the unpopular Richard Luckman, walked the plank a couple of weeks ago but it is not known if these facts are connected in any way.
If I may digress for a moment, Sandwell Council has become notorious for fraud, corruption, cronyism and incompetence during Jan Britton's era "in charge" "lol" and, as of today, they have still not managed to put an audited set of accounts on the website for the year ending 31st MARCH, 2019!!!!* It is now May, 2020 FFS! I wrote to them about this situation but received no response. I assume - rightly or wrongly - from this that it is not simply a question of a computer cock-up and that there is a bigger problem but the Government and local Tory MP's need to be asking pertinent questions - and fast! This, without explanantion (and none has been made public) - is hardly a ringing endorsement of Carter's stewardship of matters monetary!
As ever, the moronic comrades have sought to blur the line between propriety and political power. Incredibly, the dwindling band of Elingites led "double lol" by the new King Across the Water, Billa (Cllr M Y Hussain) have tried to intervene in the disciplinary process - seemingly in collaboration with Eling's trade union, Unison. In a bizarre stunt they have dressed up an attempt to rescue Carter in a load of Covid b*llocks and sent in a petition (treble "lol") asking that the disciplinary process be stopped. I have not seen the exact wording of this but the presenter is the Wednesbury Weeper, Cllr Lachrymose Luke Giles. Perhaps I am being unkind to Luke but he gives out the impression of being even thicker than the Late Dickhead Daz (without the low cunning) and Skidder sources suspect that the Sobbing "Socialist" may not be the actual author of this particular turd timebomb!
This blog has been all about the corrupt way the Labour dictatorship ignores the law and all codes of professionalism to sh*t on local people - many of whom are disadvantaged and/or live in poverty, It would appear that, once again, these jokers - many of whom have little or no knowledge of employment matters - are seeking to interfere in a legal disciplinary process. It is not clear from the versions that have been told to me what EXACTLY the morons want but they seem to be calling for Carter's reinstatement - at least until the end of the Covid process. They seemingly want him in control of the computers and thereby the finances of the authority whilst an investigation is stalled. Carter must have a fair and impartial hearing and, Covid or not, best practice is to do this quickly so that he can return to his post if exonerated or booted out a la Britton if he has sh*t the stinking Labour nest! But to reinstate a person in such a key position whilst the investigation is ongoing would, for reasons that will be obvious to Skidder readers but not apparently to those named below, be the height of folly.
I did write to "Lachrymose" asking why he thought the Councillor's Code of Conduct permitted him and other Labour Councillors to interfere in the affairs of the paid service but he has failed to respond. I have also written to trouble-makers Billa and Inane Elaine Costigan asking if they had signed but they have not had the (metaphorical) balls to respond - but it seems they did.....

5 Two from the lower ranks have had recent serious illness and have missed meetings (whilst the cash allowances continue to roll in) but have found the strength to try to put the boot in on Leader "Red" Yvonne with this cobblers - Pam Hughes and Paul "Heathcliff" Sandars;
6 Ejected Cabinet member Syeda Khatun and her BAWA employee "quadruple lol" Suzanne Hartwell;
7 The Crazed Corbynistas - Bob "Sieg Heil" Piper and former "No DSS" Socialist Landlord John "Jedward" Edwards;
8 Steve Melia - an interesting one this as he often tells me that he is his own man and that he always makes his mind up after reviewing the empirical evidence. He has told me frequently that he believes nothing unless he has seen it with his own eyes - and I duly asked him whether, in that case, the Battle of Stalingrad never actually happened! I publicly invite Cllr Melia to write or ring and tell me why Carter must be specially-protected and the subject of this wholly inappropriate political interference;

I am sure those suffering in Sadders will be cheered to know that this Labour crew are working tirelessly - on infighting.
