Red Yvonne's Contempt For Pool Workers!

Hard-left Councillor "Red" Yvonne Davies, the Leader of bent Labour Sandwell Council, has bought a home in Herefordshire so that, like the former "socialist" "leader" Steve "Squealing" Eling, she does not have to live with the local scum. She has flatly refused to say whether she has been in Herefordshire at any time during the Covid crisis. But wherever she has been, she has been assiduous in forcing one group of workers to toil throughout the emergency whatever the risk to their health and that of their families - those building the multi-million pound disaster that is the Commonwealth Games ("lol") paddling pool in Smethwick. Meanwhile she has regularly been making hypocritical pleas to "stay at home" and "stay safe."

This blog showed that during the reign of the tyranical Eling he and his chums decided that they must spend millions to "be part of" the 2020 Games and decided to blow taxpayers' money - rather than their own of course - on the Pool. There was no planning at all since time was very tight if the project was to be completed. Eight sites were looked at. Curiously, Squealing Eling used to metaphorically masturbate regularly about his beloved "Warley Woods" (a mere 68 miles from his main home in, er, Fritchley, Derbyshire) but named it as a site to partially destroy for this fiasco! Due to the constraints of time they needed any greenfield site going and so, without any economic justification whatsoever, chose to destroy public open space at an "out of the way" location, Londonderry Fields. As with any project run by awful Sandwell Labour, the costs are already spiralling out of control........

When the country went into lockdown many locals were incredulous that work was continuing at the site in a desperate bid to finish the futile building by 2022. The contractors are Wates (major Tory donors) and they have everyone over a barrel so that they will undoubtedly claim ever greater sums to finish the job on time - paid for by you and I. In fact, the original £15m "back of an envelope" costing by Labour now looks to be more like £90m - hence desperate rent and rates increases by the "socialists" before the crisis.

Red Yvonne - like most sh*tbag politicians - promise openness and transparency but that, of course, never becomes reality. There was official silence from her, the Labour Council and trade unions why the workers were being forced to travel from across the West Midlands, potentially spreading the virus, and to continue to work. Whilst not answering specifically she did finally eventually respond to my queries on Twitter (via her "personal", non-official account):

Even though Covid is a major emergency and Sandwell Council are commissioning the building she first tried to blame Wates Construction for continuing the work as if the job was nothing to do with her and the corrupt Labour Council! When I started to question this obvious b*llocks this was her response:

This is absurd since there is no way the building of a swimming pool in the back of beyond could be described as of being of national strategic importance in a major crisis particularly when there is a half-built, er HOSPITAL just down the road!

And after just 46 years of Labour f*cking the people of Sandwell she had to try and blame "the Tories" instead. I persisted and she then absolved Wates themselves and claimed the "Tory" government were pulling the strings and entirely responsible:

When I again stated that this was clearly not a building of strategic experience I received a sarcastic response again claiming the Government are responsible:

I wrote to Wates Construction about all this but they did not respond (funny how these developers promise lots of engagement with locals before they get contracts and then put two fingers up after isn't it folks?)

Of course, West Mids Tory Mayor Andy Street (who owns at least three and a half homes only one of which is actually in the West Mids) has also been a cheerleader for the ridiculous Games which may eventually bankrupt Birmingham. (Street is also giving metaphorical blow-jobs to the, er, Tory donor developer who wants to destroy Lion Farm Fields.) He - of "Ask Andy" fame - has also failed to reply.

But I did also put in a Freedom of Information request to the wicked "Tory Government" about Red Yvonne's claims and they HAVE replied. You will probably not be surprised when I tell you that the Government has NOT declared the site as being of strategic importance at all and, indeed, has no documentation whatsoever relating to the continuing construction during the crisis.

When I accused Red Yvonne of pathetic lies yesterday she denied this and I said had "deliberately misinterpreted" the above tweets! Well you're not fools dear readers and you can make your own minds up on that one! Once again Labour is just sh*tting on Sadders.....

(On the subject of scum in Sandwell Labour, please note the addendum to my last blog on Cllr M Y Hussain - "Billa". This sh*t cadged PPE (visors) from a Tipton Nursing Home which HE then donated - with publicity - to Sandwell Hospital. There is a new addendum to the post where the NHS Trust confirm that they had no special requirement for visors when he appeared and also that far from wanting PPE from nursing and care homes where it is also much-needed the Trust itself was delivering PPE TO THEM! There has been no public apology yet from Labour's Billa for his grotesque and shameful behaviour.)

Returning to business-hating, anti-capitalist, Corbyn-loving Red Yvonne, the article below about emergency Covid business grants appeared yesterday in the Express and Star. As ever, if there is a league table Sandwell Labour will be at the bottom of it and it is hardly surprising that the comrades have failed to engage with private enterprise and those who seek to do better for themselves and their families - another epic Labour fail although this time Red Yvonne blames local business folk for failing to contact the very same Council which makes a point of regularly insulting and attacking them!!!!

And where ARE the "millions" of pounds which bent Sandwell has failed to distribute?

Mind you, there was another slip from Red Yvonne yesterday since she was, unbelievably, encouraging local people - most of whom are in the sh*t after 46 years of Labour dictatorship - to follow the wise words of Martin Lewis of Martin Lewis Money fame. This is odd since he is everything that she and the hard-left despise - a clever, public school-educated multi-millionaire! Given the appalling anti-semitic persuasion of many of the Corbynistas I wonder whether she also realises that he is Jewish??????? Blotted copybook there comrade - wealthy Jedward and Sieg Heil Piper must be choking on their veggie Maqlubas!
