The Labour Party - Heartless Covid Landlords?

The "socialist" Labour Party owns numerous properties up and down the land and has a limited company called Labour Party Properties Limited (LPP) to run them and which tries to do that thing which so many of the Corbynista Party "members" profess to despise - making a commercial profit. In its last accounts LPP declared a profit of £603,000 but due to deferred losses and other legal loopholes which it exploits to the max it paid NO tax. Indeed the Sun reports that it has paid NO tax since 2003?

The crazed Party members frequently point to the legal scam of companies making interest payments to related parties to reduce taxable profits. But who received £102,000 in interest from LPP in the last accounts which reduced its tax liability - yes folks, the caring, sharing Labour Party!

(At least "Sir" Keir Starmer looks like a commercial property developer unlike his imbecilic, shell-suited predecessor!)

On our patch, this blog pointed out a very simple fraud hidden in a bigger scandal. A few years ago bent Labour Sandwell Council - infamous for fraud, cronyism and incompetence - gifted the iconic former Public arts centre to Sandwell College rent free (blogs passim ad nauseum.) At this time the College had only just moved into its brand new building but was given another huge town centre site provided it paid for the Will Alsop-designed interior to be substantially destroyed. Incredibly, the deal was so bent that Sandwell Council agreed to pay full maintenance on the long lease - an incredible and highly-unusual thing in commercial property deals.

A small quid pro quo for this shocker was that the College - now swimming in extra space - should rent office space from the Labour Party and so it has been paying £36k a year to the comrades ever since for even more extra space at Terry Duffy House, West Bromwich. It even bought them some new carpets for £4,300!

The new Tory MP's simply have to get a grip on this outrage!

Anyone who takes to social media will have come across Covid-crazed lefties shrieking about rapacious landlords. Take, for example, Coventry's ranting MP Zarah Sultana who raves incessantly about wicked landlords of all stripes! (She even makes Brummie Gobsh*te MP - and close friend of the late wife-beater Darren Cooper - Mess Phillips look like a shrinking violet!)

Surely a College - even a bent one -  "struggling" through the Covid crisis needs all the help it can get from Sister Sultana and her ilk? Accordingly I wrote to Labour Party Properties on 16th May asking what discount they had given to the sleazy Coll - but answer came there none..... Come on Zara - get it sorted lol!

The Corbynista leader of bent Labour Sandwell, "Red" Yvonne Davies has just pilloried me and called me a liar through both her "personal" and "official" Twitter accounts after I stated that she and CE David Stevens failed to lift a gagging clause on ex-Assistant Chief Executive in an Information Rights Tribunal case. Well, here is the email I sent to both of them on 9th March to which there was no response:
