Highly-Paid Commissioners - more complaints!

After years of appalling Labour corruption in Sandwell the Government finally took action and sent in Commissioners - at eye-watering expense - to sort the bent Borough out. But what the hell is going on now?

Readers will know that I have lodged a formal complaint with the Secretary of State given revelations concerning the conduct of the Lead Commissioner, Kim Bromley Derry (KBD) when he was the Interim Chief Exec of bent Sandwell (and whom Labour were paying £1,300 a day plus expenses).

Now I have lodged a further complaint dated today in respect of the Assistant Commissioner, Jim Taylor, who mislead me - in writing - concerning the original appointment of KBD by bent Labour. Here is the Complaint with a small amount of redacted information:

To the Secretary of State for Levelling-Up:

THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION

I regret having to write to The Secretary of State again - via yourself - concerning the Sandwell Commissioners.

I am copying in MP’s Morris, Richards and Bailey to this.

I sent you a formal complaint to the Secretary of State on 25th August, 2022 requesting the immediate suspension of Kim Bromley Derry (KBD) as “Managing Director Commissioner” pending investigations surrounding his deliberate or grossly negligent failure, as Interim Chief Executive (ICE), to maintain ANY records in respect of the appointment of Keir Starmer crony, Imogen Walker, to a newly-created position at the corrupt Labour Council. I have not received even an acknowledgement as yet, and whilst I appreciate that there is a “changing of the Guard” in central Government at the moment, this is a most urgent matter.

In the complaint referred to above I mentioned that there were serious concerns how KBD came to be appointed as the very-well rewarded ICE in the first place. I can tell you that the concerns reached me via a whistleblower working at Sandwell Council. In short, the whistleblower alleged that KBD’s appointment had been deliberately “rigged”. (I hold some further information which I will release at my discretion.)

I wrote to KBD asking about the circumstances of his appointment as ICE and was surprised to get a response from Jim Taylor, the Assistant Commissioner appointed by the Secretary of State. On 28th April, 2022 Mr Taylor purported to inform me that everything was “above board” with the appointment despite a “waiver” of the normal “Procedure Rules” and that three recruitment agencies had been approached for prospective candidates.

This did not accord with the story from the whistleblower which included the allegation that the search for other candidates was a fraudulent charade as KBD had already been “given the nod”. I duly made a FOIA request only to discover that KBD was not put forward by the recruitment agencies (as was originally stated by the whistleblower) but by the Local Government Association (LGA). In the circumstances I believe that Mr Taylor either deliberately lied to me on 28th April or else he was grossly negligent in giving me an untrue and totally misleading version of events. As with KBD, I am also calling for the suspension of Mr Taylor forthwith pending a full investigation into his conduct.

I did write to Mr Taylor giving him the chance to answer for himself but he has not done so, although I am sure he has referred my letter to you given the serious issues raised. Here is my email of 25th August, 2022:

“Dear Mr Taylor,

THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION

I refer to your letter of 28th April, 2022 concerning the appointment of Kim Bromley Derry (KBD) as Interim CEO at SMBC.

Whistleblowers at SMBC stated that KBD's appointment was a stitch-up with the LGA and that a makeweight candidate with no chance of success was put up against him.

In a FOIA reply Sandwell has now confirmed that KBD was a LGA candidate all along. You mislead me in your letter - deliberately or otherwise - since you stated "Three recruitment agencies had been approached for prospective candidates." You must have been aware of the LGA's role and yet you deliberately, or due to gross negligence, concealed it from me. Why?

May I assume that the LGA were also involved in your own lucrative appointment as Sandwell Assistant Commissioner?”

Additional Concerns

In the FOIA response referred to above the corrupt paid service responded, inter alia, that KBD held a meeting with the then Leader of the Council, Labour Cllr Rajbir Singh (and I imagine you know his story). In an insulting response SMBC say they cannot provide details of the meeting(s) as Singh has left the Council and his diary is unavailable. This is preposterous particularly as he had a full-time taxpayer-funded secretary who keeps an electronic diary. Also Singh is readily contactable, not least through his wife who is a serving Labour Councillor!

Of even greater concern is that KBD says he “cannot remember” when the appointment took place! We have seen in the formal complaint that this guy egregiously failed to keep ANY records in the Imogen Walker affair and now he alleges that he cannot produce records or remember details of a trip which landed him a job at £1,300 a day plus 12p a mile (to travel from London) plus “reasonable expenses”. This is taking the mickey out of the people of Sandwell and the FOIA legal framework - and also needs to be investigated with the original complaint.

You are aware that there is an outstanding FOIA request with your own Department concerning the appointment of KBD as the Lead Commissioner. Were you aware of his inability to maintain records and his self-declared memory difficulties when you appointed him - again at huge costs to the taxpayer? (It should be remembered that the Secretary of State has also allowed this man to keep his other job as a Director of a major property company whilst raking in public funds.)

Submissions to the Secretary of State

Prior to Sandwell being placed in “special measures” your Department invited submissions on the appropriateness of taking that step. Myself and Darryl Magher submitted a very lengthy document detailing grave concerns about the conduct of the corrupt Council. Two issues (at least) still require urgent attention:

2 In our Submission we pointed out that under the stewardship of the now-disgraced Chief Executive, Jan Britton, corrupt Sandwell were automatically deleting the email and other computerised records of both councillors and employees (including, incredibly, SMBC solicitors) [i.e. when they left]. We say that this was done with deliberate fraudulent intent but, whatever the position, this cannot possibly be an appropriate thing to do. We are seeing that KBD is trying to cheat the system by not keeping records at all, but surely when he was appointed he should have been “tasked” with stopping this deeply corrupt practice? Clearly he has not taken action since the FOIA reply referred to above claims that Rajbir Singh’s records are supposedly unavailable. This requires urgent attention even if (when) the current Commissioners are suspended.

Returning Officer

KBD has also been given the extra payday of being the Sandwell Returning Officer (with Tour as his sidekick).

At the May elections there was an egregious attempt to rig the result of the Tividale Ward where a Labour “victory” of two votes was eventually overturned to a Conservative win of 48 votes. KBD states that this was due to “human error” but that is disputed and he has not, as yet, confirmed what steps he is taking to ensure that this situation does not arise again.

I am calling for KBD’s suspension as a Commissioner but there is also the question if he is a fit and proper person to be the Returning Officer noting (a) his failure to maintain public records; (b) his self-declared memory problems and (c) the debacle at the Tividale Count?

This is important as there is a pending by election in Wednesbury South. Clearly it would be an unsatisfactory situation if KBD is suspended/removed and still the RO!"

Skidder Shorts #48 - Tour and Melia Standards Complaint

Most readers will know that in December, 2021 I was assaulted by Labour Cllr Steve Melia outside Oldbury Council House. Please watch this short video of the incident:

This scumbag begged West Midlands Police not to carry on with a prosecution but, unlike with Cllr Piper, the Bent Blues held firm this time. Melia PLEADED GUILTY to the charge of assault at Dudley Mags.

I duly made a Standards Complaint. It is almost impossible to imagine a more open and shut case, but then the Monitoring Officer at the bent Labour Council is Surjit Tour who sees his role not as a "policeman" enforcing codes of conduct but as "Defence Counsel" to errant Labour Councillors. This blog has campaigned for his instant dismissal without compensation but he has now been subverting the rule of law (most notably in the McNally conspiracy) for over FIVE YEARS NOW (at over £100k per annum plus gold-plated pension). In the dossier (and elsewhere in this blog) is the history of Tour subverting the standards investigations to exonerate former Labour Leader [sic] Cllr Steve "Squealing" Eling. Part of Tour's alchemy in that case was to appoint "an independent [sic] investigator" at taxpayers' expense.

In the dossier, I have also added my bit of "history" with Linda Clarke who worked under Tour claiming to be Sandwell's Deputy Monitoring Officer and a Solicitor but tried to put the boot in on me as part of the McNally conspiracy - you can also read the details of this under the subscription and legal notice below. Suffice to say for those short of time, Clarke thought McNally's malicious and unlawfully funded claim would destroy me and so couldn't resist having a dig at me when supposedly dealing with a serious complaint.

A couple of days after Melia's criminal assault I put this post on Twitter contemplating how Tour was going to try and protect "his man" (which it is NOT his job to do):

Guess what - despite the facts being blatantly obvious - Tour has found it necessary to throw taxpayers' money at an "independent investigator" to look into the matter! WTF? Well over 100,000 people saw the original video on Twitter alone and in excess of 98% could see exactly what went on, and were horrified by this POS's actions.

Tour shafted me in the Eling/Melia matter and I missed the chance to take legal action but I am prepared this time. Incredibly, Tour nominated as the "independent expert" one Linda Clarke - late of bent Sandwell - and someone who has abused me in writing. This guy is truly amazing.

Tour backed down and has decided to chuck money at another "independent person". That's how your Council Tax gets spent under bent Labour folks!

Complaint Handling - McNally - Linda Clarke

The unlawful funding and representation of Lisa McNally, Sandwell Council’s Director of Public Health, in a failed legal action which cost the taxpayer in excess of £100,000 is dealt with elsewhere. But there is some overlap here between the two subjects and the dates of communications are relevant here.

On 3rd January, 2021 a formal complaint was submitted to SMBC by Julian Saunders that Lisa McNally was involving herself in political debate and discussion when she was, by law, in a politically restricted post.

Having unlawfully decided to fund and represent McNally in a legal action against Saunders SMBC sent a Protocol Letter of Claim to him on 11th February, 2021.

At the end of February/beginning of March SMBC started a disastrous legal action against Saunders whose Solicitors applied to the High Court to strike out McNally’s malicious action as having no prospects of success. The application was listed for a hearing in London on 21st June, 2021.

At least four Solicitors at SMBC (Tour, Price, Lynch and Maher-Smith) were acting in concert to “support” McNally’s case (as detailed elsewhere and were confident that they would win the case and/or financially ruin Saunders in the process.

On 22nd February, 2021 Linda Clarke, who purports to be a Solicitor, sent the following response to the formal complaint of 3rd January, 2021.

“Dear Mr Saunders,

David Stevens has asked me to respond to your formal complaint against Lisa McNally, Sandwell’s Director of Public Health.

You begin by making allegations that Ms McNally has breached Regs 6 and 7(i) of the Local Government Officers (Political Restrictions) Regulations 1990. Your assertion is based upon her Tweet about teachers, school and childcare staff being prioritised in relation to the Covid-19 vaccination programme. As you are aware, in order to fall within those two regulations, the “speaking” or “written work” needs to, “intend to affect public support for a particular party”. Having reviewed the Tweet in question, I cannot see anything that indicates any intention, either expressly or implied, that meets this criteria. The Regs have therefore not been breached by Ms McNally.

You go on and make further allegations about Ms McNally regularly communicating with “virulent anti-Tory journalists” etc., but you provide no evidence in support of this. I do not think that it is incumbent on me to respond to such allegations where no evidence has been provided and where it appears to be a malicious and unjustified attempt by you to discredit her.

I would further advise you that if you are dissatisfied with this response, please let me know and I will progress it to stage 2 of our complaints procedure.

It is highly improbable that Clarke was unaware at this stage of the pending litigation against Saunders. The merits of the actual complaint are immaterial here (and in the High Court McNally stated that whilst she is in a politically restricted post the law does not apply to her personally as she has a “duty” to speak out against what she perceives to be defects in [Tory] Government policy. And so Clarke took the opportunity not only to dismiss the complaint but to be gratuitously offensive in doing so, accusing Saunders of being “malicious” and seeking to “discredit” McNally - two themes of the pending litigation.

As with other SMBC lawyers - they do like to insult people and then sign-off “Kind Regards”!

I replied to Clarke on 22nd February, 2021, copying in Chief Executive David Stevens (subsequently sacked by SMBC):

“I strongly object to the tone of your email.

You have not asked for further evidence. The two journalists are Jane Haynes and George Makin.

I strongly object to the words that my complaint is a "malicious and unjustified attempt by you to discredit her.

Are those your words or those of the Chief Executive?

Would you care to repeat those words in public?”

Bearing in mind that Clarke sent her insults when she must have known legal action was imminent. She was quick to respond on 23rd February, 2021:

“Thank you for your email. I note that you are dissatisfied with the response that I sent you. As I said, you can request to escalate the Stage Two. I would advise you that you must specify the reasons for wanting to proceed to Stage Two. Simply stating that you are unhappy with the response received or just exercising the right to escalate to the next stage are not justified reasons to initiate a Stage Two investigation.

Saunders responded making Clarke’s original offensive tone the subject of a complaint in itself:

“I wasn't commenting about the response (yet) I was complaining about your insulting and abusive language.

Can we now log that as a formal complaint in its own right please (unless you were simply quoting the Chief Executive in which case please log the complaint about him).”

(It was obvious, by this stage, that David Stevens himself was heavily involved in the McNally conspiracy.)

The McNally hearing took place on 21st June. SMBC’s unlawfully funded QC was very poor on the day but the conspirators obviously fancied that they would still defeat the strike-out application. Thus Maria Price, one of at least four Solicitor conspirators in the McNally affair but who clearly did not perceive any professional issues in dealing with this matter herself, wrote this on 28th June, 2021 before the Court judgment was given:

“This matter was passed to me to review by David Stevens. I note that you have been allocated a single point of contact but, I will deal with you directly in relation to this matter.

You have requested that a formal complaint be made against Linda Walker for her dealing with another complaint that you made regarding a Council Officer, Lisa McNally.

You alleged that Linda’s dealing with your complaint used insulting and abusive language when she stated your complaint was not substantiated with evidence and “appears to be a malicious and unjustified attempt by you to discredit her” (referring to the council office concerned).

In considering the complaints procedure, Linda’s findings were clearly in relation to your complaint regarding the Council Officer. You were provided with an opportunity to appeal the stage one findings but chose not to do so.

The complaints procedure is explicit that “a complaint that has been previously investigated, responded to and concluded” will not be considered under the complaints procedure.

That said I have reviewed the correspondence between Linda and Yourself and the language used.

I am sorry that you feel that Linda’s correspondence was abusive and insulting.

In relation to whether the language used was abusive I find no evidence to support this assertion.

I then considered whether the language used was insulting to you. Having reviewed the conclusions I can appreciate why they may not be the conclusions that you were seeking but this does not mean that the conclusions were unfounded or insulting in nature.

Whilst making no finding in relation to the original allegations you raised I have considered the language that was used by Linda and I find that she was entitled as investigator to find that that the allegations appear to be malicious and unjustified in the absence of any evidence been presented to substantiate them. As such I will be closing this matter.

This now completes my review of this matter and I will not be progressing it any further.

Price actually condones the words used by Clarke! There is no way she was in anyway “independent” in dealing with this supposed investigation and she features regularly in the dossier being prepared on her and Surjit Tour at:

On 16th July, 2021 the High Court struck out McNally’s malicious and unlawfully funded. The McNally conspiracy, in which Price herself was directly involved, collapsed.

Once again a supposedly proper investigatory process was improperly handled by Tour’s team due to an ongoing vendetta against Saunders, and infected with bias.

Breaking News - "Human Remains" seen in skip at Tipton Cemetery

Warning - a disturbing image appears below although we have pixellated it for obvious reasons.

A Sandwell family attending a funeral at Tipton Cemetery claim to have seen what appeared to be human remains in a skip there.

Photos sent to The Skidder appear to corroborate their story and various sources state that there has been a large police presence at the Cemetery over this Bank Holiday weekend. This photo (pixellated by The Skidder) makes horrific viewing - you will see the image below includes the arm of a member of the public.

The Skidder has asked West Midlands Police for comment and will keep you informed.

ADDENDUM 30/08/22 - here is a short statement from WM Police which appears, inter alia, to confirm that the remains chucked in the skip are human:

It is not clear what the role of bent Labour Sandwell Council is in all this but their funerary service has featured in this blog before.

Early on in the history of this publication The Skidder exclusively revealed that bent Labour had wasted taxpayers' money on a z-list "celebrity", Ruth Badger, to "motivate" funeral Service staff!

Later we reported on Labour's "Final Solution" when Labour hoped to dissolve cadavers in chemicals and then flush loved-ones into the public sewer.

At the moment there are lurid reports that after relatives said their sad farewells at Council crematoria and the curtains closed, cadavers were then transported across Sandwell to other crematoria for actual cremation - and bent Labour made sure this was strictly without the knowledge or consent of the bereaved.

More on all this as soon as WMP issue a statement. We understand that the Coroner has been informed.

Breaking News - Kim Bromley Derry - Walker Appointment Shocker!

Thanks to a Freedom of Information response today - which is stunning even by Sandwell "standards" - we now know that Interim Chief Executive, Kim Bromley Derry (KBD) appointed a crony of Keir Starmer, Imogen Walker, to a newly-created post at bent Labour Sandwell Council but did it all "verbally" so that there are no records of the appointment! WTF?

Of course, the Government has been forced to intervene because of the corruption etc. in Labour Sandwell and appointed KBD as Lead Commissioner. But the FOIA revelations are absolutely appalling and I have written to the Department of Levelling-Up (copying in local Conservative MP's - I might as well wipe my are on a piece of paper as write to the pathetic Spellar) - requesting KBD's immediate suspension pending a full enquiry.

Incidentally, it is worth reading the FOIA request via the link in the following letter and you will note that Starmer's "socialist" chum has chosen the most tax efficient (for her) way of receiving payment from us taxpayers.

Please draw this correspondence to the attention of the Secretary of State.

You are, of course, aware of your Department’s belated Intervention into the affairs of Sandwell MBC after years of corruption, cronyism and incompetence. Many of us welcomed this but were surprised that you simply appointed the Interim Chief Executive, Kim Bromley Derry (KBD) as “Managing Director Commissioner” (at a huge salary whilst permitting him to continue with his other work as a property developer for two years).

You may not be aware that there was disquiet concerning the appointment of KBD as Interim CEO in the first place. This is subject to a FOIA request and a further request has also been submitted (by me) to your Department concerning the selection process when he was made lead Commissioner.

Thanks to another FOIA Request, a very serious decision has come to light. KBD appointed a close associate of Labour Party Leader Keir Starmer, Imogen Walker, to a specially-created post at SMBC. I can only refer you to the FOIA Request itself at:

This is truly shocking. If it is correct, KBD is totally failing to keep ANY records of extremely important matters including, astonishingly, his purported use of delegated powers. He has set up a new post and appointed a Labour crony - all done secretly via verbal communications. This is the sort of disgraceful behaviour of two previous (and now disgraced) Chief Executives which some of us have been highlighting over a number of years and which led to the Intervention in the first place.

KBD has extensive local Government experience and so one can only assume at present that his misconduct was wilful and deliberate. If he was acting in this way as Interim CE then there is no way he is a fit and proper person to be a Commissioner.

I request that the Secretary of State immediately suspends KBD pending a full enquiry into his conduct as Interim CE.

Rollins, Brandhall, Lion Farm, Petition - it's all here!

Flower Power for Foul-Mouthed Rollins

The rules are that employees of bent Labour Sandwell Council must not put out Labour propaganda themselves but leave that job to the £852k per annum "press office". Which makes it strange that potty-mouthed (yes, I know - pot/kettle) Cabinet Member (ROFLMAO 1) Laura Rollins should have allowed an employee at Sandwell Valley to run a propaganda piece for the "rich Jewish trendsetter in a former life" (Skidders passim and see legal notice below). [Note that this was an offensive antisemitic trope written on Twitter when Rollins was hunting for "rich" Jewish boys to meet. She is not Jewish.]

Of course, Sandwell folk like to parade how thick they are, and so what could possibly go wrong when lamprey-hating Laura posed for her promotional plug on social media? A person purporting to be a member of Sandwell Valley staff put up a picture of herself and Rollins in a sunflower field. In an astonishingly illiterate puff piece the employee used the word "you" twice in succession whilst also describing the sunflowers being at "there" best. The horrors continued as the dimwitted author excitedly advertised that, "Counciler Rollins has been to visit today to fined her perfect flower"! WTF?

I wrote to Rollins asking if the staff member was an employee of the bent Borough. Also, whether she and the employee (if she be such) were aware of the rules and, if so, why they were broken? Further, was the employee also the author of the illiterate piece, and is the particular social media site operated by the corrupt Council? She has not responded.

It is "somewhat ironic" that Rollins should choose to promote herself in the lovely green space that is Sandwell Valley given that just a few weeks ago (20th July) she was one of nine Labour Councillors who voted to destroy a large part of Brandhall Green Space! She is not just extremely unpleasant but a xxxxxxx hypocrite too!

AECOM

I couldn't help noting that the Brandhall Report was prepared by AECOM - a very expensive firm of consultants. Whilst they do have an office in Birmingham they are an American Company hitherto based in California. How come skint Sadders went for such a costly "Rolls Royce" firm especially when they are hoping to make lots of cash from building on the former golf course? I think we should be told don't you readers?

AECOM did significant work for Cannock Chase District Council including a "strategic environmental report for the Hednesford Local Plan" in 2017. The "Managing Director" at Cannock at the time was Tony McGovern - now Director of Regeneration and Growth in Sadders since September, 2021 and tasked with destroying Brandhall and Lion Farm. How nice that he can become acquainted with old friends again. (Incidentally, McGovern was also in charge when Cannock built a huge "luxury shopping village" just a few miles from Lion Farm! Strange but true.)

You may or may not be aware that many firms are escaping "leftie" California for gun-toting, anti-abortion Texas. There is a rush of companies moving to the ultra right-wing Lone Star State which levies no personal income tax and has a "business-friendly" outlook. Happily, for a firm undertaking strategic environmental reports, Texas offers far less, er, environmental regulations to encumber AECOM than The Golden State. I'm sure this news brings much joy to Citizen Piper and Co.

Brandhall - great work but a touch of nimbyism?

One of the major faults of Sandwell is its parochialism. The bourgeois Berghaus bolshies of North Harborne (aka Bearwood) are as alien to the folk of Tipton as Martians. I am delighted to say that since this blog started, some folk have got up off their knees and campaigned hard on local issues - sometimes with success- against the corrupt Labour Dictatorship. But it is very difficult to get genuine cross-Borough campaigns going and this allows bent Labour to pick off groups one by one.

People like Ian Carroll (The Gooseman) have highlighted environmental degradation and the destruction of wildlife right across Sandwell for many years. Many others work tirelessly to polish the Sandwell turd. But these toilers seldom get the support they deserve for their amazing work.

Others, including myself, have tried to point out that what little green space is left in Sadders - outside The Valley and Warley Woods - should be precious to ALL locals given the urban dystopia they live in (not to mention climate change). I have advocated that Labour's policy of attacking one green space at a time should be contested Borough-wide and not just by neighbouring residents. Like Nato - an attack on one is an attack on all. Tory Councillors like Jay Anandou and Scott Chapman get this, as does 2002 Liberal Candidate, Clive Heywood, but, unfortunately, many don't.

Labour destroyed Londonderry Fields. Labour then turned on Brandhall and, via Labour Cllrs Costigan, Hughes and Luke Giles, Goldicroft Park. Lion Farm is next in line after Brandhall.

(Sickeningly, when a campaign is successful there is usually a mass outbreak of c***-sucking with locals falling on their knees to pleasure the same Labour Councillors who tried to f*** them over in the first place! Take, for example, the Walker Grange and Goldicroft campaigners for their shocking displays of gratitude and obeisance.)

The Brandhall Campaigners have been tremendous in many ways and have just won a short stay of execution for their important green lung. They have bent Labour running scared but face the same difficulties as other groups. The Dictatorship has got away with murder in recent years in the full knowledge that after 48 years of Labour stewardship, Sadders people are poverty-stricken, uneducated and morally weak. Labour fear legal challenges but no-one has the money to take them on (except me - via borrowing - in the McNally case). Other campaigning groups around the country trying to save green belt etc. are constantly fundraising to pay for legal help but this just doesn't happen in Sadders. In their plans [sic] to destroy both Brandhall and Lion Farm Fields bent Labour have actually mentioned their fear of Judicial Review proceedings being brought against them (for different reasons) but they gamble that no one can afford to challenge them.

We saw in the Sandwell Scum Counter* that only 14.9% of local morons voted Labour in May but the Comrades crow that they have a clear democratic mandate to impose their brutal will - even where, as in Brandhall, a mere 83% of those responding to the consultation OPPOSED Labour's planned destruction of the lovely green space.

Unfortunately, this does not, of itself, mean much IF Labour Councillors and the bent paid service do not try to corrupt due process (as they have done with Lion Farm). I am no expert on judicial review but JR is not about the decision per se but how the decision was made. Was it made lawfully and reasonably? In the past no-one has cared and so bent deals went unchallenged. But sooner or later the corrupt Council will have to be taken on - and given the corrupt paid service's penchant for failing to keep records, destroying documents and using the likes of WhatsApp to keep conversations secret they will have difficulty putting one over on a High Court Judge (though they are prepared to simply lie and give false evidence as we have seen in at least three cases to date).

At the end of the day campaigners have to show, inter alia, that evidence used to support a decision was wrong, misinterpreted or incomplete.

It is a testament to the tenacity of the Brandhall Group that they have forced further scrutiny of the Cabinet decision. It is quite incredible that a joke like Labour's Peter "Zorro" Hughes should be in charge of all this in the first place, and should sit at a Cabinet meeting trying to be "statesmanlike" (ROFLMAO 2) and pretending that Labour had been diligent in exploring a range of options before wielding the axe on a large part of Brandhall. Just 4 weeks later this pompous prat told Local Democracy Reporter Rhi Storer that a significant part of the b*llocks he spouted on 20th July may, indeed have been just that!

The puffball claimed that further investigation (remember since 20th July!) indicated that "the information available to Cabinet in making the decision to approve may have been incomplete". WTF? This is a MAJOR decision. The bent Labour Council is now being run at huge expense by Government Commissioners and so how on earth could the original report to Cabinet have been allowed to be presented in the first place? The "Lead Commissioner" is a property developer and understands these things so that he should surely have raised concerns?

But all this alleged "scrutiny" has been started by a Labour Councillor. Is this simply a ruse to try to head off a possible JR claim? Is this a scam so that the Comrades can say, "Oh yes, we double-checked everything!" We shall see. But the political will is to destroy a large part of the site and we have seen for years in this blog that bent Labour always prevail.

It was also interesting, in a car-crash sort of way, that when Labour tried to shaft Brandhall at the Cabinet meeting they mentioned "the new Friends Group". Some of us were confused whether they were referring to the existing campaign Group or, perhaps more typically, a brand new Labour front-organisation stuffed with Councillors and cronies a la Brunswick Park, Goldicroft etc.? Frightening if the latter!

In the course of screwing Brandhall, Labour also maintained that - contrary to the views of WM Mayor, Andy Street - there are NOT enough brownfield sites in Sadders to meet housing needs. The clear implication was that Labour has its eyes on MORE green spaces for destruction. [Incidentally, most places with (alleged) space constraints build upwards. No-one wants a return to the worst excesses of high-rise development but there is an argument for homes in taller buildings - with good architecture and proper planning - as many cities worldwide are showing.]

- I asked her whether it is better for her bent Council to blow millions on The Games or on food and housing. She replied:

Dim Kez: Honestly people who need houses will be allocated houses when we have them available but we haven’t got the land to build that many houses on (laughing).

There you have it again folks - another direct hint that more green space will be destroyed by Labour ha ha ha!

(She refused to answer a question previously raised by Conservative Wunderkind Cllr Will(iam) Gill about the large number of Sandwell Council houses standing empty at any one time.)

Alas, during the Games I was trying to organise a small peaceful demonstration near the Games Pool. Ian Carroll was up for it but only very few others were. People living in the Londonderry area - many of whom were apathetic about the destruction of their Fields in the first place - were totally indifferent again. Other Sandwell campaigners couldn't be arsed.

Most astonishing was the reaction from the Brandhall Group who barred me from putting a notice on their Group site about the demo. The Group hierarchy decided that individual members should not have the freedom of choice to decide for themselves whether they personally wished to demonstrate against the wider environmental and wildlife issues locally and the very corruption which the Brandhall Campaign has been on the receiving end of itself!

I was told by Group members that the leaders did not want members to be associated with a demo "at such a prestigious event"! WTF???? The prestigious event was on (Labour-destroyed) green space - which they claim to be fighting to save but only, it seems, in their manor. Not in MY backyard but f*** Londonderry and other green spaces in Sadders? I hope not. And why does bent Labour seek to build 190 houses to pay for the new school at Brandhall - because it has just sp***** millions up the wall on, er, "the prestigious event" some Brandhall residents are w*nking about. You couldn't make it up.

Lion Farm

The silence has been deafening.

The Scum Counter for Langley ward (May, 2022) is 8,603* and so we can probably assume locals want to see the Fields go. But, if that is not the case, they need to mobilise now! The current "Managing Director Commissioner", Kim Bromley Derry, is a property developer (and is said - though this is only rumour and unconfirmed - to have held direct talks with Andy Street's pal, Jeremy Knight Adams - the multimillionaire seeking to make big bucks from the rape of the Fields). WAKE UP LION FARM BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

[Incidentally, I am being told that I cannot drive at more than 60 mph through Sh*thole Sandwell on the motorways because of "air quality issues" so perhaps having a large green lung close to the M5 might be a good thing. Somewhere like Lion Farm Fields perhaps?]

Coyne Road residents shafted!

You have to laugh at Sandwell folk. The Sandwell Scum Counter (May, 2022) for Greets Green and Lyng ward is 8,526*. These people support or condone Labour corruption but have suddenly started whining about Labour shafting then by dumping what is, in effect, a homeless hostel in their road at Manifoldia Grange. Cllrs Pam "Sh*t-scared" Randhawa, John "Godfather of Greed" Giles and the ever-useless Jackie "Jac of No Trades" Taylor let the corrupt Council fire ahead in their ward, with local residents only being informed of the "plan" by "short notice" letter on 15th July.!

You wanted bent Labour Coyne Road - you've got 'em, and you can't say you didn't know what they are like!

This blog has shown time and again how useless some of the Sandwell Councillors are - notably the Labour sheep who occasionally waddle in to the odd meeting and vote as they are told. Many do little or no casework other than simply forwarding emails to the corrupt paid service to do the donkey work.

There are THREE councillors for each of the 24 wards of Sadders and this should be reduced to two - especially now that an extra tier of local government has been forced on local people i.e. the West Midlands Combined Authority.

What happened to the Glamping?

Bent Sandwell Labour kidded folk that so many people would require overnight accommodation during the Games that they were considering introducing glamping (posh camping) sites around the dog sh*t-smeared Borough.

Of course, and as predicted here, even the competitors - let alone visitors - didn't want to stay in the ars*hole of the West Midlands, and everyone stayed in Brum.

It's Not Cricket in Smethwick + Press Office Update

Normally you have to apply for planning permission before you get to the erection stage ;-) but bent Labour Sandwell Council are always willing to bend over backwards to help you if you have broken the law - provided that you have the "right", or rather "left" connections (remember Inane Elaine Costigan and KTC Edibles - Skidder passim?)

Thus Smethwick Cricket Club (whoever "they" actually are) thought "f*ck Sandwell" and built a two-storey extension at Broomfield in Smethwick allegedly "to support the general office and the sale of tickets" on the ground floor and a "consultation and treatment room" for injured cricketers who are able to stagger up to the, er, second floor.

In 2020 planning permission had been granted for a single storey extension but the applicant, Jasbir Singh Takhar, simply went ahead and built this instead:

There is a dearth of publicly-available records about any involvement of the bent Council in all this but Takhar applied for retrospective permission and Tony McGovern, Director of Regeneration and Growth, granted it without any further ado on 1st June, 2022. You see folks, it's as easy as that in Sadders ...

But soft I hear you say, that can't be the whole story can it Skidder? Indeed it is not.

Firstly, McGovern states in the planning permission that a valid application had been received on "5th April, 2022" whereas the SMBC website specifically dates the application as "5th May, 2022". Indeed the later seems right since the declaration on the Planning Application is dated both 3rd May and 4th May, 2022. A document was submitted in early April (see below) but was replaced in May with subtle alterations. McGovern seems to have taken this as the date of the planning application which begs the question, why? And what discussions were going on behind the scenes?

Mr Takhar forgot to mention in his application his close relationship with lying Labour Councillor, Parbinder Kaur (recent posts passim and see Legal Notice below). Yes - it's her again!

Back in October, 2021 - long before the Planning Application - The Wolvo "C***suckers (aka The Express and Star") boasted that yet another foodbank had been opened in Sandwell to relieve the poverty created by 48 years of Labour failure. Some of the "volunteers" were pictured including the Liar Kaur and Mr Takhar. Inevitably, given that Sandwell Police (right to the top) are massive rimmers of Kaur - a senior cop attended the opening. And the address? Smethwick Cricket Club!

Incidentally, Sandwell Cops were actually lining up with The Liar to have their photo taken with her at the Baton Relay. WTF????? The ID badges are obscured but the one collar number can be made out on the real officer. I wonder if this lot are from Smethwick and what their game was? (This was my photo but a Council employee took shots of them all lined up together with The Liar.)

The Wolvo C's reported that The Liar had helped set the foodbank up at Smethwick Cricket Club and that it has been set up by "Sikh women as part of the Everyone Prosper SDB Charity". But, for unknown reasons, this Charity was kicked out and a new one set up on 12th April, 2022 to run a foodbank and "wellbeing centre" (perhaps from a two storey building with an upstairs treatment room for cricketers?) There are just three trustees of "United Hands Foodbank Wellbeing Hub CIO", Alan Rudge, and guess who the other two are - yes, Jasbir Singh Takhar and Cllr Parbinder Kaur!

Happily the date of the Application as cited by McGovern pre-dates the date of Takhar and the Liar setting up the Charity so that it could be "claimed" there was no legal connection between the pair when the planning application was made. How very convenient! Perhaps a planning application is live once people "say" they will put in an application at a later date? Indeed a Design and Access Statement was put in in early April but there was clearly some discussion about this since it was amended and re-dated the day before the May Planning Application. What the hell was going on here? What was McGovern's personal role in this - if any?

And it now appears that in McGovern's new empire planning applicants don't need to mention close association with Labour Councillors - even in respect of a property where the Councillor has a direct interest!

And as the Cricket Club was already being used as a foodbank why was this not mentioned in the retrospective planning application? Is the foodbank being operated from the Pavilion or from this building? Is planning permission required for this use? Over to you Mr McG!

Oh, and I forgot to mention - Kerrie "Dim Kez" Carmichael, the leader [sic] of the bent Labour Council thinks the Liar, Parbinder Kaur, already found to have breached the Councillors Code of Conduct, is a fit and proper person to be - wait for it, wait for it - Vice Chair of the Planning Committee! WTF in triplicate????

Petition

The comrades a running a Consultation exercise regarding elections. Instead of having annual elections in 3 out of every four years they would have a single election to elect the whole council every four years. But the Consultation does not ask the public about reducing the huge number of councillors (many of whom fo f all) from 3 per ward to two. Press Office - How Sadders Doesn't Work!

Back in April, I wrote about the truly pathetic productivity rates of the overpaid staff in bent Labour Sandwell Council's press office:

A Freedom of Information (FOI) Request showed that the 11.6 full time equivalent (FTE) staff were doing virtually f*ck all. Instead of sacking half of them and ensuring the remainder actually did some work, bent Labour commissioned a report from a company called Promodo Limited to examine what had gone so horribly wrong.

Incidentally, the FOI also showed that I am the only journalist in the whole world banned from communication with the dog-sh*t chroniclers!

Promodo duly produced a document full of the usual management-b*lls. In a classic line considering the myriad disclosures of horrendous failings in the bent Borough, and the fact that the Government had to intervene, they opined that "Sandwell is a well-run Authority" - ROFLMAO!

Incredibly, they recommended INCREASING the press office from 11.6 to 19 FTE idlers including SIX managers. What happened next is also a microcosm of all that is wrong at the corrupt Council. The matter was referred to the Cabinet. Instead of simply attaching this joke piece of work to the Agenda, bent Labour said they would hide it from public view on the astonishing basis that firms would not wish to earn thousands of pounds writing this guff for the Council if they knew their drivel they presented would be made public. WTF???

As usual, members of the bent paid service presented instead their own version of the information. This is also done as most Labour Councillors are to lazy to read the papers for meetings and too stupid to understand them if they do.

And we have seen the results of this tampering with the evidence go horribly wrong many times before haven't we readers? Perhaps the most egregious example was Cllr Paul Moore and Dr Alison Knight putting the disastrously "faulty" Report on Lion Farm to the Cabinet in 2017 - to support as corrupt a deal as there has been in the history of this blog.

Further, payments of over £500 to those doing business with the Council have to be listed BY LAW (save in exceptional circumstances where, for example, the payments relate to children/vulnerable persons care) and yet Surjit Tour and Kim Bromley Derry initially tried to conceal how much Promodo were paid for the gobbledygook!

Happily sense has prevailed at one level at least and the Promodo Report has been disclosed. (I won't put a link to it as it is not worth reading.)

This year bent Labour jacked up the council house rents and council tax by the maximum allowed by law as they impose huge costs on hard-pressed locals. Of course, they have millions of pounds of debt now from the Commonwealth [sic] Games. But they have still decided to blow an EXTRA £305,100 a year on the hapless press office i.e. an annual figure increased to a whopping £842,000 - well over, three-quarters of a million pounds! Oh, and they confirm they paid £9,920 to Promodo on top. But there you go folks, that's Sandwell Labour's cost of living crisis for you!

Of course, the increase in press office numbers has nothing whatsoever with bent Labour panicking about the Tories in Sandwell taking parliamentary and council seats. Oh no.

Sikh Weirdo Out + Scum Update

The political arm of Sandwell Sikhism is having a bad time lately. Flushed with success after they helped to defenestrate a number of "dodgy" Muslim Councillors in the bent Labour Council they have not exactly used their growing political power base for the benefit of local residents. The head honcho - and bitter enemy of crazed MP, Preet Kaur Gill - is Gurinder Josan (pictured below with The Gnome of Bromley) who now sits on The Labour Party's National Executive Committee (NEC).

First there was the Rajbir Singh (who he?) saga. Readers will recall that this buffoon was inexplicably made the Labour Leader of the bent Council where he lurched from one crisis to the next. He sacked the Chief Executive but bungled it and cost Sandwell people thousands of pounds - possibly hundreds of thousands - the figure is still being withheld by corrupt Labour. There are persistent rumours of the real reason The Boy Blunder did a moonlight flit, giving up not only the Leadership but also his Council seat. But the local Sikhs are saying nowt and can console themselves that the morons in Old Warley re-elected his wife, despite her pathetic track record on the Council. (Old Warley Ward scum count: 7,835*)

Secondly, Gurinder Josan groupie Cllr Pam Randhawa has tried to conceal her political ties and property/business interests from the public (Skidder passim and this is an ongoing matter). She obviously has business interests she wants to hide (which is unlawful) since here she is the other day cavorting with the so-called "Sandwell Business Ambassadors" - yet another Sandwell Labour front organisation (and full of white folks):

Thirdly, the liar Cllr Parbinder Kaur has ALREADY been found to have broken the Councillors' Code of Conduct by concealing her own property interests.

As if this shower of sh*t behaviour is not bad enough we come to Cllr Kirat Singh. I should say ex-Councillor as he resigned his seat yesterday. Before we get to the main course, there are some rumours surrounding this guy which The Skidder has been unable to substantiate (information is still welcome even though he has gone).

Rumour One - Singh had relocated to London but was somehow "brought back" to become a Labour Candidate in Sandwell by Tom Watson and the most corrupt man in Sadders, Simon Hackett (Skidders passim ad nauseum and see legal notice below). The morons of Wednesbury South duly elected him in 2021. (Wednesbury South Ward scum count - 9,285*.)

Rumour Two - Singh has been doing some work with Juniper Training.

Rumour Three - This weirdo was suspended by the Labour Party recently but then reinstated.

It is not known whether Singh actually achieved anything as a Labour Councillor and he certainly missed meetings whilst picking up his allowances. (It should be remembered in passing that thick Wednesbury South folk seem to actually like lazy, useless, people as their elected representatives since this year they re-elected Tory traitor and debtor, Ian Chambers (pictured), as a Labour Councillor despite a very poor record in his first year. But by far the most serious issue about Singh came from the Sikh Community itself. Lurid allegations were circulated on Sikh websites and social media of a serious nature. AS LONG AGO AS 9TH APRIL, 2021 I wrote to Josan regarding the allegations:

You will note that this was sent before the election but Josan did not reply and seemingly did nothing to appraise the people of Wednesbury South of the allegations. The thick locals duly elected Singh and he has creamed off his expenses until yesterday when he suddenly resigned. As above, he did diddly squat for the local scum which is precisely what they deserve.

I am indebted to Ms X for her quick thinking when she screenshotted this charming exchange on Facebook (which was quickly deleted) and then sent it to me. The name of the second account is redacted as it is a term for a part of the female anatomy. Ms X states that the second account belongs to "a friend" of Cllr Rizwan Jalil (which he denies):

I wrote to Cllr Singh asking him to explain his apparent criticism of Cllr Jalil but answer came there none. Now he has gone. Good riddance weirdo!

More Scum

I am no saint but was brought up in a law-abiding working class family to tell the truth. It hasn't got me very far and even when I defeated McNally's absurd and illegally-funded Court case against me last year I was left with a substantial loss. Being a lying sh*t does pay in Sandwell, and brings honours with it. Maybe that should be what kids are taught - especially in Sandwell where their life chances are already stunted? Grim.

Another Sikh Councillor (now former Councillor) Babu Singh Bawa was widely accused of being involved in corrupt dealings surrounding a Compulsory Purchase Order. Years after the event, even bent Labour said they were referring the issue to West Midlands Police but, as per usual, it seems the Bent Blues did nothing. (I approached Bawa for comment on a number of occasions about his actions but he preferred not to comment).

Incredibly, this scumbag was awarded the OBE (Order of the Brown Envelope?) in 2002 and I tried to get him stripped of this due to the CPO business (so far without success).

But when scum rises to the top it stays there, and I was gobsmacked to see this joker walking into this year's Sandwell Council Mayor-Making Ceremony as an honoured guest. How sick is that and who the f*ck invited him?

Then we come to another liar, Cllr Syeda Khatun. This piece of work and family members have amassed personal wealth by being very successful in securing huge grants for various charities they run. Yes, there was the unpleasantness at Exeter Crown Court involving family members but Khatun too was honoured by our grotesque system and holds the MBE. But as we have seen (Skidder's passim and see legal notice below) Khatun and Eling [the former leader] lied in the Hackett standards case months after the event to save Snivelling Simon's skin. Her p*sspoor conduct has, with that of others, cost taxpayers literally hundreds of thousands of pounds. She was eventually booted out of the Cabinet as a result of her misconduct but now the bent Eling regime is re-forming under Dim Kez don't rule out a comeback. (Khatun has been asked to comment on a number of occasions why she subverted the standards process but refuses to say.)

She was also heavily involved in the Eling plot to have me unlawfully excluded from a Council meeting which ended up in the High Court!

I simply could not believe it when I was walking through New Street Station the other day and found that Network Rail had lauded this liar by putting up a picture of her on the main concourse (shown below with the liar highlighted)! Once again, what message does this send to kids - cheat the system as she did with Hackett and you will still be presented to the public as some sort of paragon of virtue. It's beyond belief ghastly!

Not a Councillor this time but disgraced a*se-licking employee Darren Carter (who left for a new job at Reading Council after a lengthy suspension) was at The Scrotum (Sandwell Aquatic Centre - SAC) the other night boasting about his part in Sandwell Council's decision to destroy green space and waste millions in building the white elephant. I hope he didn't get free tickets!

Back to the Future

I have pointed out that bent Labour Sandwell Council is returning big-style to the corruption of the Eling era and with some of the same players who were in the Cabinet during that awful time e.g. Carmichael and Hackett, with Moore as the "lead" scrutineer. What could possibly go wrong?

Back in the corrupt days of Cooper/Eling/Britton there were as many as 8 (yes, eight) full-time union reps being paid their Council salary by us taxpayers via Facility Time. This blog has shown that on many occasions the unions were utterly craven and frequently sold their members down the Swannee if it suited the Labour Dictatorship. Remember Jez Hall and many others? Remember all those forced by the unions to sign confidentiality agreements?

In return for this kowtowing, Labour occasionally held pathetic "ceremonies" with the unions within public Council meetings where meaningless "charters" are agreed - allegedly to support the workforce (many of whom are, apparently, still "working" [sic] from home!) Unions reps grandstand in front of the awestruck "members" with some new political stunt and sign a board - paid for by taxpayers - with this drivel on it.

At the last Council meeting Carmichael reinstated what my friend in Bearwood would call this "muppetry". Incredibly, it seems that there is now a massive betting problem within the pathetic Sandwell Council workforce (on top of their other failings) so that the unions and the Dictatorship promised to "support" the large number of employees who are suffering from the consequences of their "harmful gambling". Three union reps and Comrade Piper duly signed some garbage on a big board about this new "policy".

I watched this grotesque showboating with horror and my mind turned to the antics of Labour's sole remaining Sandwell MP, John Spellar, the aforementioned "Gnome of Bromley". In recent posts (and see legal notice below) I pointed out that this South London spiv has been taking high value "hospitality" from gambling firms/representatives. As we saw in a recent post, this greaser was quick to "thank" his new pals by standing up in the House of Commons and spouting a pro-gambling comment!

And he's been at it again! Whilst again referring to his Register of Interests and his gifts from the bookies he once again championed the put-upon punters of the UK:

"Can I urge [the Minister], in preparing the White Paper, to take a balanced view of the economic and social benefits, the considerable pleasure for millions who bet quite responsibly and the great contribution to the Exchequer, and balance that against the very vocal lobbying, particularly in some of the media, by those who basically, with gambling, are prohibitionists?"

Surely at the next Council meeting the MP's views should be noted and the "Harmful Gambling Charter" amended so that Labour will also support those employees who take "considerable pleasure" in spending their generous wages on a flutter? It's like the lottery - a load of balls!
