When the late Smethwick Scumbag Darren Cooper was nominally in charge of the shambolic Labour Council he spent an inordinate amount of time trying to smear me. For years the dimwitted wife-beater threw out Tweets etc about me being a Ukipper - presumably the only party supporter with an EU flag flying on their house (and if I had a daughter I would call her Remoana)! He even put a covertly-obtained photo of me talking to Kippers in the street in Wednesbury during an election campaign as "proof" of my sinister affiliations - but then he was a dickhead! (If anyone wants me to bore them about my politics buy me a pint in any Sadwell hostelry and I will be happy to oblige you.)
The tyrannical current leader of the Council and his coterie are trying a new-tack. They are smearing me again by ludicrously describing me as an "extreme right- wing blogger" eg. this libel from the money-grubbing "socialist landlord" Cllr John Edwards at the April Labour Group meeting:
Since the arrival of highly controversial Monitoring Officer Surjit Tour things have taken a turn for the worse especially against the background of "leader" Steve "The Milkman" Eling's paranoia. Regular readers will know that Tour wrote to me threatening to silence me and stop me hanging around the Council House, er, talking to people. Thus in January and May of this year false allegations have been made against me. Unfortunately this now means that I have to go armed with recording devices (three last night) for my personal protection.
At the mayor-making Council meeting in May there was a small Save Lion Farm demo but a huge area outside the Oldbury Kremlin was cordoned off with temporary barriers and there was a large security detail preventing local folk, voters and a respected local blogger from speaking to the comrades.
Last night myself and Mr Magher attended and it was even worse. At a time when Sandwell is at or near the bottom of every deprivation table going Eling had decided to extend the cordon and increase the security to stop two people talking to cowardly Councillors. (This is even more bizarre given that I attended alone on Monday night when I was allowed to stand IN the building and to peaceably chat with Councillors as they arrived!)
The failing Labour Party in Sandwell is cutting frontline services and then blaming "Tory cuts" but take a look at this YouTube clip and see how THEY are peeing YOUR money up the wall on nonsense. The guy in the white shirt is also security so that in addition to the barriers YOU were paying for the EIGHT members of Eling's barmy army detailed to prevent myself and Mr Magher from having a chat! Initially there were two on the other side of the building and this does not count the other security staff INSIDE the building! They can't blame the Tories for this spectacular waste of money - this is all down to Labour:
The sharp-eyed amongst you will have also noticed one of the dirt-poor Borough's limos in shot. Sandwell Labour think it is OK to run TWO luxury vehicles with TWO paid chauffeurs! But YOU are paying for this ridiculous waste....
The trouble with the comrades is that many of them are thick. They make crazed decisions without thinking them through. I have now been subject to persecution by corrupt West Midlands Police "Complex Crime Unit" for over FOUR MONTHS thanks to Eling, Marshall and Costigan*. I am now subject to further threatened prosecution for an alleged (and denied) use of a single swearword in May outside the Kremlin.
In my blogpost as recently as 15th June, 2018 I set out a public notice (which WAS sent to all Councillors including Bob Piper). I pointed out to the comrades that some of their number have, over the years, subjected me to plenty of threats and abuse but that now WMP say use of a single swear word constitutes criminality I was not going to tolerate THEIR abuse any longer. It is worth putting up again the actual notice I only recently served on them all:
"Dear All,
THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION
Eid Mubarak to those celebrating.
Over the years I have known most of you, I have been insulted and abused on occasions too numerous to mention. The "F" word has been used liberally and sometimes the "C" word. I have had councillors literally screaming abuse in my face. I have been threatened with physical violence. On an infamous occasion one or more councillors stole two eggs from SMBC and threw them at myself and other peaceful protesters.
It seems that hitherto I have had a thicker skin than your Chief Executive [sic] and that the alleged use of a single swear word is now classed as a criminal offence! I hereby put you on notice that I am no longer going to tolerate this sort of abuse. I have rights too. Please be aware that from today all abuse and threats WILL be reported to West Midlands Police forthwith. You have been warned and I shall produce this notice to WMP on each and every occasion it is required.

But all the absurd security outside the Council House also now means that the Labour Group's lunatic fringe can't shout abuse at me or issue threats! They hadn't thought about that! But Cllr Piper had a solution - harass and swear at me in the pub after the meeting instead!
We all know how Piper has been in hot water on a number of occasions for his foul social media output (posts passim) and, of course, he was once forced to apologise and withdraw his libelling of Walsall Council's former Chief Executive, Annie Shepherd. Apart, it seems, from the weirdo voters of Abbey ward we all also know that he does not have the cojones to say anything to anyone's face but prefers snide oblique attacks and backstabbing. Mind you, this little lapdog was quite prepared to put his hatred of me to one side when Eling ordered him and his colleagues on the Audit Committee to "go after" Cllrs Hussain and Jones (Ian):
But last night he was disgusting. I was just walking out of the Oldbury 'Spoons with Mr Magher when he was coming in with Cllr Jaron. As he passed us he said the highly offensive "Seig Heil" with the obvious intention of causing alarm and distress. When I asked him if he was directing that at me he told me to "piss off". He went all coy and refused to repeat his words on tape. The great joy of all this is that it will all be on the 'Spoons CCTV and so WMP have the opportunity to view that tape and assess the obvious impact his hate speech had on me (and Mr Magher). As WMP now say such incidents are public order offences I am making a formal report to have the matter - as they put it in horrible language - "crimed". Here is a tweet from last night asking WMP to secure the tape at 8.26pm:
There cannot be one law for one and one law for another here. Further Piper has made this gratuitous and obscene attack very shortly after being sent written notice that I was not going to put up with this sort of viciousness any longer. Over to you WMP! (By the way, I did warn WMP when they phoned me to "invite" me for interview that if use of a single swear word is criminal they will get very busy indeed with the potty-mouthed comrades.....)
The evening in Oldbury finished with myself and Mr Magher walking in the direction of West Bromwich on the public highway only to be followed on the opposite pavement by a female security guard! She had been filming me during the evening (again when I was on the public highway). I have joked that living in Sandwell is like residing in Pyongyang but under "The Milkman" this is becoming reality!
And Finally,
During the evening as the sun sank over the yardarm there was a rare solar eclipse in Oldbury. As the light dimmed I looked up to see a huge black be-gowned blob standing on the bridge between the Council offices and Chamber blocking the fading light. It was none other Sandwell's disastrous Chief Executive surveying his massively-expensive security arrangements. "Look on my Works, ye Mighty and Despair!"
* I wouldn't let "Inane Elaine" run a whelk stalk but in recognition of her decision to help Eling shaft the Joneses she has, incredibly, been given a Cabinet position! It may sound like she is in charge of dishing out the condoms to the infamous "Sandwell Shaggers" at the "Public Health and Protection" portfolio but she has not only been given the vitally important public health remit but is also in charge of "tackling crime" with police and partner organisations. Of course, she is already Wednesbury Police's unofficial "Gold Commander" all of which helps explain why they failed to investigate the fraud at Wednesbury Celebrates whilst she was Treasurer and why WMP have ignored blatant lies in her statement to the Complex Crime Unit about me - (posts passim)! What a place!
