Hussain Family Latest!

Just to let you know that The Hussain Family development of 14 houses at Lodge Street, Oldbury has had a change of name from the estate agents and is going to be called "The Lodge" rather than "Oldbury Green".

There seems to be a problem (not sure why) with the links on this blog. Please check new-build detached and semi-detached houses in Oldbury via www.haart.co.uk if the following links don't work. For the Sandwell Council prospectus google sandwell council + lodge street. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Here are the estate agents details just in case you fell the need to rush out and put some more dosh in the "developer's" pocket. You will note that in the main images the M5 Motorway has disappeared!

The four detached:

The total market price for the 14 houses is just £2,780,000 whereas senior and other officers of Labour Sandwell Council somehow contrived to sell the land to one of their own employees (Councillor Hussain's, er, son) for just £145,000! Of course, the houses have to be built and there are marketing costs but it should be non-alcoholic "trebles all round" down McKean Road soon!

Incidentally,Cllrs Cooper and Hussain personally told me that £145,000 was a very good price for the large clear building plot given its location which makes it all rather mysterious why SMBC employee Mark Watkins produced this glossy 20-page prospectus for the property in February, 2013 (which also helpfully gives the nod from the sleazy socialists that they would look favourably at granting planning permission for 14 houses on the site):

I assume that the recently-promoted Sharma and planning supremo Bubalo were well aware of this document and of the favourable ride a planning application was going to get before authorising the sale?

Curiously the Express and Star have finally woken up to the goings-on at the Labour cesspit but keep on about the sale of the bogs, the Five Star Taxi Contract(s) and the sale of the old coroner's court (also to Hussain's same son) but they are completely ignoring this "little gem"!?!? Why?

On the subject of the old coroner's office the political aspects of this are of interest:

>   Our old friends "the Gang of Four" - Dudley, Sharma, Kellas and Bubalo were the SMBC officers who prepared the report to flog off the office with Sharma and Bubalo eventually being given responsibility for the actual sale (sadly Kellas, the Chief Finance Officer was frogmarched out of the Kremlin in December following his mysterious and still secret "dismissal" by the crazed "leader" Cooper);

> The report came before the Asset Management and Land Disposal Committee (AMLD) on 19th December, 2012. As usual, such is the contempt for openness and democracy from Sandwell Labour that only Hussain and Hackett bothered to turn up and they got through the whole agenda ie preliminaries plus EIGHT substantive agenda items in 7 (seven!) minutes - less that 1 minute per item. So much for scrutiny on Cooper's disastrous watch. No declaration of interest was made by Cllr Hussain.

> The AMLD minutes went before Labour's joke "cabinet" on 9th January, 2013. The Turdmeister himself was in the chair and the following were present - Hussain and Hackett again (who had made the original decision) plus Cllrs Badham (subsequently demoted); Eling (mastermind [sic] of the CTB disaster and the man who lied to the E&S about the casino legal costs); Linda Horton (mother of the Labour liar, Cashmore); Ian Jones (recently resigned to clear his name) and the cipher, Paul Moore. This shower got through the niceties and 12 agenda items in - and I kid you not - 2 (TWO) minutes! Accordingly we can safely say that there was no scrutiny of this deal (or, presumably, of very much else). No declaration of any interest was made by Cllr Hussain.

> Now this gets more interesting. The full council received the cabinet minutes of 9th January at their gathering on 5th March, 2013. Unbelievably the comrades (who agree everything in a secret meeting the night before) did spend one hour and twenty seven minutes on a long agenda at what is traditionally a busy meeting near the end of the council financial year. Hussain was in attendance throughout.

It is still a secret when officers of Sandwell Council took the "decision" to sell this property to their own employee colleague, Hussain's son. Was it a last minute "decision"? I ask this because although Sharma and Bubalo did not complete their task and convey the property until May the conveyancing documents show that lawyers at Sandwell Council were working on a sale AT THE LATEST on 15th March, 2013 - just 10 days after the full Council meeting where Hussain made NO declaration of his interest in this sale and was present for all the business of the meeting.

I cannot say if they were present at the full Council meeting but Sandwell's amoeboid Chief Executive, Jan Britton, and head lawyer, Neeraj Sharma, do usually attend. There is no reference in the minutes of them raising the fact that a land sale was to be to someone who was both an employee AND a councillor's son.

Perhaps unknown officers took their bizarre "decision" after the Council meeting of 5th March, 2013 the employee purchaser not having declared an interest in the property until that stage! All will come out in the wash - or not if the comrades can avoid it!

Whilst we are on the subject of property, the moronic Labour "leader", Darren "The Turdmeister" Cooper, used to go around rather foolishly telling people that he borrowed the money for his large house extension from a certain private individual rather than from the bank. I have checked the Land Registry and there was no second-charge on the property but he could, of course, have got the cash from anywhere. It is important to know whether it is true that he borrowed the money from the person he used to name and, if it wasn't, why did he go around saying that, if it was untrue? Unfortunately, motormouth Cooper has suddenly lost his tongue and is unable to comment on this issue!

Perhaps Councillor Hackett knows and can enlighten us? The two men now appear to be locked in a fight "to the death" according to the latest scoop by the Halesowen News. Cooper is desperate to save his own skin as the good ship Sandwell sinks below a high-tide of sleaze and will have to sack Hackett if the Ofsted report on Children's Services is bad to try and deflect the sh*t from hitting himself. Cooper has just "lost" TWO other cabinet members for the time being and is not replacing them until after the election - very bad news for Sandwell as this imbecile is taking more power to himself in the interim! And all this two months before the election!

Look on ye mighty in The Labour Party and despair!
