Twitter Love Trolls #2

In the wonderful world of Twitter the troll account @kingsnortonlady - which was set up impersonating my wife - is today trolling my, er, wife's employers and a charity of which she is a trustee in an effort to get her suspended/sacked from her job. I wonder which local politician in Sandwell has been attempting to do the same thing? (More anon).

this troll account was set up impersonating my wife and using her photo. As of today it is using her maiden name ie L. Smith @kingsnortonlady

Numerous complaints have been made to Twitter who did suspend the account but then, without obtaining ID, re-instated it so that the trolling has continued! They have then ignored all further complaints.

If you understand Twitter take a look at this account's 541 "followers". As with most of the other trolls, this one has been "farming" followers and a cursory glance will show an odd-ball bunch of followers from all over the world. But there are three local followers:

What is really appalling here is that Twitter, who gush out all this Californian "freedom of speech" guff appear to be actually conniving with the trolls to silence this blog. We saw yesterday that (a) Twitter apparently gave two day's advance notice to the trolls (and possibly to Cllr Darren Cooper @sandwellleader) that my "political" accounts were to be taken down. And so they were.

But then they appear to have given the trolls two days advance notice that my personal account was to be taken down:

Look at the middle tweet here from a couple of days ago. And at around 5pm yesterday Twitter suspended my personal account. How can this be? What hold do this bunch of trolls have over Twitter? There is something odd going on since when Cllr Cooper's own account was suspended for ( publishing covertly-obtained photos of his political opponents - again), Twitter re-instated his account within just a few hours. Surely Sandwell Council's half a million quid a year press office are not involved in all this are they?

Twitter have a large dossier about this troll campaign but have closed me down and let the trolls continue (much more on this to come).

At 6.45pm last night an anonymous male on a withheld number phoned with a three word message: "Done and Dusted".

The trolls all started celebrating following the lead of Cooper himself (and Rickers of course) - and you will see that Cooper is admitting that he was one of the complainants behind the suspension of my accounts.

Meanwhile the troll account @Gemmawool15 (which Twitter have  known for months is a troll  purporting to be a female but which initially started off as, er Wayne Rooney!) has been attacking anyone who has followed me and retweeted this blog. Surely Twitter are not going to connive in this as well?

Incidentally, another THREE of the sleeper trolls (which Twitter have been notified of some time ago) have become active. Here is a screenshot showing them linked to "my wife" @kingsnortonlady:

The @westbromskidder account has one local follower as of today - Unite the Union's, er, Brian Rickers.

The @wmskidder account is followed by, er, @kingsnortonlady.

A third account @mrsskidder is followed by a local labour party person and two troll accounts - @kingsnortonlady and @Gemmawool15. Do you recognise a pattern here readers, because tech savvy Twitter can't!!!!

I said yesterday that the troll @kingsnortonlady was threatening to try to have the account of  Bob Woods suspended and has been at it again today:

As above, a local politician (and a local trade union official) have been trying to silence ME by making trouble for my wife with her current employers (and a charity of which she is a trustee) even though she is nothing whatsoever to do with the blog (though an avid reader). They have suggested that she should be sacked or suspended. And so @kingsnortonlady has tweeted the charity where she is a trustee twice today but her employers seven times - including false information - seemingly in an effort to get further accounts stopped eg.

[To employer] "a friend of Linda Saunders from [employer] know [sic] retweeting #lowlife

[To employer] Relating to the Express and Star hatchet job on me today - "please read the story about your employee Linda Saunders...suspension please ASAP".

Maybe it is common in California for people to try and get themselves suspended from work and so Twitter accept this sort of stuff from trolls! You dear readers have more sense!
