Skidder Newsflash - Bent Sandwell Labour Buy Giant Turd!

My apologies folks for missing this story but the public and press were excluded from the February Cabinet meeting of bent Labour Sandwell Council when this was decided and I have only just seen the minutes.

Many Council's up and down the land have had their fingers burnt in recent years by investing in shopping centres as bricks and mortar retail has tanked. In Sandwell, Labour's Councillors have never run a whelk stall and, not to put to fine a point on it, most are as thick as mince. For nearly 48 years they have systematically destroyed the Borough and created a network of poverty ghettoes. They are SO crap the Government has just had to intervene and put the Council in "special measures" - with Commissioners appointed for two years to stop the ongoing Labour corruption, cronyism and incompetence.

New "leader" Kerrie "Dim Kez" Carmichael has set a new Council Tax rate increase of 4.99% - the maximum allowed. Bent Labour Sandwell is one of a handful of Councils nationwide to do this but Labour have been losing millions (eg on the sale of Providence Place), unlawfully or foolishly spent sums (eg on the Hackett and McNally litigation), extending the joke press office (more on this soon) and, of course, sp*nking multi-millions up the wall on the Commonwealth Games disaster. So now Labour says it is time for YOU to stump up for this lot.

[Incidentally, folk have noticed that their Council tax notices are for 5.2% increase not 4.99. One correspondent asked Dim Kez about this and she didn't know and had to ask the beancounters!]

And now, Labour are spending over £5m of your dosh on the sh*thole, failing, King Square Shopping Centre in West Bromwich. As above, the deal was nodded through by the comrades last month. Full details remain secret but the total sum so far, just to buy this giant turd, is £5,104,500 + VAT. Then the comrades are hiring expensive "specialists" to run the ghastly hole.

What is even more incredible is that Labour uber-scum like Cllrs Simon Hackett and Paul Moore (with Carmichael when she has been in the Cabinet) have been fighting hard to destroy Lion Farm Fields in Oldbury to build a, er, new shopping centre. Not only do Labour want to destroy this vital remaining Sandwell green space but a new shopping centre would also wreck retail right across the benighted Borough! It's a deeply corrupt deal anyway which must be stopped, but now these same jokers want a new retail offering which is bound to harm Kings Square, which they have just bought with YOUR money! WTF goes through their miniscule minds?

Expect to keep on forking out on this dog of a deal for years folks whilst they pump your cash into a corpse to try and bring it back to life. And I am sure there will be plenty of "free community space" for Labour cronies while frontline services continue to fail! Sick. Really sick.
