Sahotaville Latest - Peter Hughes slagged off local complainants

In my last post (link below) I pointed out the close relationship between property developer Satnam Sahota and Cllrs Peter Hughes and Elaine Costigan together with his equally close relationship with planning officers at bent Labour Sandwell Council.

If the earlier post I mentioned the complaints by local residents that Sahota had broken up asbestos sheeting at one of his properties and then attempted to burn it (which allegation, it must be said, he denies).

But here is the asbestos sheeting on site:

Cllr "Inane" Elaine Costigan specifically told local residents that Sahota did not destroy the asbestos in situ but used a "reputable" contractor to dispose of it. Some local residents asked her why a "reputable" contractor would attempt to burn the stuff on site (knowing the properties of asbestos) but further answer came there none, save that Costigan assured residents that her mate Sahota had an official receipt from the contractor. Alas this alleged document has never been put in the public domain to reassure locals which you would think Sahota would have wanted to do if he, himself, is "reputable" (as alleged by his pals, Hughes and Costigan!)

I mentioned before that this was reported to all the relevant authorities who didn't give a flying f*ck. We now need Sahota to produce the alleged "receipt" and to identify the mysterious contractor. I have also written to Costigan for further information.

Kartar Drive

I am indebted to a Wednesbury Resident for alerting me to the astonishing role played by the vile Cllr Peter "Zorro" Hughes (aka "Alberich") in Sahota's retrospective planning application relating to the bungalows he was building on what is now, Kartar Drive (in the heart of Sahotaville), one of which is now occupied by, er, Zorro Hughes and his wife, former Labour Councillor, Pam Hughes.

There is a link below to the video of the actual - online - meeting. As always it is excruciating to watch Hughes speak as he is such a thick, pompous ***t and so only click on the link below if you want to be sick over yourself. The relevant part is Agenda item 7 starting at 1:01:51. Happily this kind person has set out a resume of what went on.

Before you read what follows remember that Hughes was not on the Planning Committee but purported to speak for local residents (who all hate his guts) and who, for reasons as yet unknown, were prevented from voicing their objections directly to the meeting. But Zorro's doormat wife, Pam, WAS on the Committee. The meeting was on Microsoft Teams and they were presumably sitting in the same house when this charade took place. I simply don't understand how Alberich got to speak for the very people who thought he was shafting them on a regular basis, and how this was allowed. As it is, he purports to "tick off" his pal Sahota for repeated breach of planning regulations, but then slags off the very people he is purporting to be speaking FOR!

Here is a very fine summary from a Wednesbury friend:

"Agenda item 7 discusses the planning applications DC/20/65088 which is a variation of conditions 1, 12, and 13 of the planning application DC/18/61392.

The relevant bits of discussion – Agenda item 7 kicks in at 1:01:51 of the video. There is some confusion by the Chair as to which application and agenda item being discussed.

The Chair states that there were no objectors registered to speak on this application other than Peter Hughes, his allotted 5 minute ‘objection’ starts at approx. 1:04:57

P Hughes advises :-

that HE (my emphasis) decided to speak (at the meeting) due to the emails that had been sent by residents to the planning dept that morning (about the application). He is aware that residents wanted to speak at the planning meeting and that

‘he is aware of longstanding, how can I say it, problems between residents and Mr Sahota’.

He went on to say that he is aware of other Mr Sahota developments – the Waterworks and other development including redevelopment of derelict land at the rear of Saint Pauls Institute.

He states that as local councillors they are happy with the redevelopment of what was derelict land which has gotten overgrown, unsightly and resulted in anti-social behaviour taking place on the land, The development, in the Cllrs opinion was a good development but there is an issue. (My note: As we have seen - corrupt Sandwell Labour were trying to tap up Sahota for Party donations and so it is hardly surprising that local Councillors favoured his various developments.)

At every turn Mr Sahota has come up against objections of various kinds (from local residents) and that the local Cllrs have done their best to mediate, including parking and other issues. (My note: This, according to local residents is "b*llocks.)

At this point of his ‘objection’ the chair asks P Hughes to get on with it, to discuss this application specifically.

Peter Hughes stated

that he is aware that the planning department would have had more objections from residents if they could have done so. In fact, objections have come about as Mr Sahota has done things without going through planning applications to begin with and now has to submit a retrospective planning application(s).
Mr Sahota is an experienced developer, experienced enough in planning issues and how to go about developments. His message would be to Mr Sahota – to work with the community of residents.
that ‘Residents are objecting for the sake of it and will continue to do so.’ He stated that he knows full well that the planning application should be approved; that Mr Sahota should have done things properly, working with the Cllrs and the residents.

That was all of P Hughes ‘objection’ against the development’s retrospective application relating to the windows, roof lights, driveway.

There was nothing added by John Baker from Sandwell’s planning department.

Mr Singh, acting agent of Mr Sahota confirmed that there should never have been a retrospective planning application but gave COVID as an excuse.

All Committee Cllrs gave their approval for the application, including Pam Hughes." End.

I would just add to this that it is astonishing that someone who has sought to represent local residents at a meeting can turn round and slag them off - Residents are objecting for the sake of it and will continue to do so".

Pam Hughes did not declare an interest. Zorro commented on the glass to be used in windows local residents were complaining about and had obviously discussed this with Sahota - perhaps whilst measuring up for the curtains?

Hughes also admitted that officers of the planning department bent over backwards to help Sahota despite the many complaints from local residents but that is hardly surprising in bent Labour Sandwell where, as here, the three Labour Ward Councillors "favoured" the developments.

Hughes's Concealment of his Address

We have seen that, with the active connivance of Surjit Tour, bent Labour Sandwell Council's highly controversial Monitoring Officer, Hughes unlawfully concealed the fact that he was living in a Sahota property. When I started to ask questions, the poisonous Alberich changed his Register of Interests to show the address despite his earlier lie that he feared violence and intimidation if it was publicly known.

If you genuinely fear for your safety you wouldn't reveal your address on a different public register would you? Yet Hughes - who no sensible person would trust to run a train set - became a Director of West Midlands Rail in June 2022 and registered his address with Companies House on 18th July, 2022 at a time when he and Tour were still concealing his Sahota address!

Sahotaville - Hughes - Costigan Latest

I have been in touch with West Midlands Police (WMP) concerning what has been going in in "Sahotaville" - the area around Brunswick Park Road in Wednesbury where property developer, Mr Satnam Sahota, has various interests - to the chagrin of local residents. We saw in a previous post* that the local Bent Blues are pals of Sahota, and even put the arm on a local resident when he had the temerity to criticise Sahota on social media. It was not surprising therefore, that WMP said there was "insufficient evidence" to look into my disquiet. Of course, many of us cling to the naive view that where there are prima facie concerns, the local Police may use their extensive investigatory powers to, er, investigate but, in Sandwell of course, that is fantasy, as we have seen for many years. Of course, WMP will say that they are too busy "engaging with the community" to bother about actual crime ...

I don't have police powers, but I have been doing some further digging myself with interesting results. Now read on ...

Part One: A Vile Trio

Before we get into the nitty-gritty it is worth mentioning that the three local Labour Councillors who have been heavily involved with Sahota are Costigan, Luke Giles and Peter "Zorro" Hughes (aka "Alberich"). These three unwise monkeys have appeared frequently in this blog. Just by way of one example, The Skidder exclusively revealed the triumvirate's attempt to develop Goldicroft Park without actually consulting local residents**.

Giles - part of the Giles family "Greed Machine" with four of the clan now on the bent Labour Council raking in the allowances - has been involved with Sahota for a much shorter time, and the other pair have made much of "the running" with the developer. (The residents of Charlemont & Grove Vale seem to have finally seen through bent Labour and have the chance at the May election of denting the Greed Machine's finances by booting the absolutely useless Elizabeth Giles off the Council - other candidates listed on the SMBC website).

Of course, Costigan, has also been the de facto "Gold Commander" of WMP Wednesbury. Her assiduous (metaphorical) rimming of blue helmets is the stuff of legend. We have also seen many times (Skidders passim and see legal notice below) that "Inane" Elaine is an inveterate liar (and see further below) and, as was said of Disraeli, only ever tells the truth "by accident".

A police sergeant at Wednesbury was involved in the intimidation of a local resident and it would be interesting for the Police to investigate who made the malicious and ridiculous complaint (details of which are set out elsewhere in this blog). Was it Sahota or a Labour Councillor or crony on their behalf?

For the record, Peter Hughes wife, Pam Hughes, was also a Labour Councillor and on the Planning Committee for some years. Some people say that Zorro exercises a domineering influence on her. I don't know if this is true save that I did personally witness him treat her like a doormat at an event at OCH some years ago (Skidder passim).

It should also be noted that these Councillors have strong support from within the bent paid service at the corrupt Council.

Part Two: Brunswick Apartments [sic]

This address sounds rather exotic for Wednesbury. It isn't. Here it is - the building - "Block A" on the left. (Sahota and/or his companies also own the building on the right - "Block B".)

In 2006 Sahota wanted to develop both of the above buildings. We are only concerned at present with "Block A". Sahota secured planning permission to convert it into a "residential care home". He says that unnamed "Councillors" wanted to "clean and develop the area". At some point - Sahota himself is unable to say exactly when (!) - he claims that "some of the neighbours" asked him why he didn't let the building out to "normal tenants" (his words). This seems improbable given the antipathy of the neighbours towards him. He duly gave up running the building for residential care and, in breach of his planning permission, started renting out to "normal" tenants " to make all the neighbours happy". He claims that this was at a financial cost to himself as the care residents were more remunerative. What an amazing, kind-hearted, guy!

The key point here is that a number of Labour Councillors were well aware that Sahota had changed the use of the building and either they did not inform planning officers despite their frequent direct contact with them, or else they made planning officers aware but there was a conspiracy to ignore this. What is particularly galling is that, as we shall see, Sahota made further local planning applications - with the full support of Labour Councillors - whilst it was well known that he was in breach of the "Block A" terms.

On Monday 24th July, 2017 Sahota had a site meeting with Cllr Costigan and Peter Hughes together with a SMBC planning officer called Carl Mercer. I have no idea if this Mercer character is still employed by Sandwell but SMBC say that he made no record of the meeting WHATSOEVER. WTF was he doing there? Yet, despite the complete absence of any records being kept of a meeting with someone also making other planning applications AND the attendance of two Councillors, the bent Council claims that the parties did not enter "Block A" at any time but simply had a "walk around the area".

If they did not know long before this, it seems absolutely inconceivable that Costigan and Alberich were not fully aware of the change of use by this date. Local residents allege that they knew long before this.

But just a couple of months later SMBC employee Christine Phillips wrote to various Councillors on 15th September, 2017 stating that permission had originally been given for "supported living". There was also a site visit at some point in 2017 - which may be the one referred to above - and yet Ms Phillips refers to the residents as "occupants of supported living flats" which appears to be plain wrong. And this was known to Labour Councillors, if not to staff.

It is noteworthy that the bent Council refused to respond to a Freedom of Information request relating to the documentation held on the use of the property between 2008 and 2017. Of course the Police could obtain these documents, but it is highly likely that any that did exist have now gone through the shredder.

Anyway - you will all be glad to know that Sahota has come up smelling of roses. I wrote to the new(ish) Director of Regeneration, Tony McGovern, complaining about the lack of enforcement action by SMBC (and also the failure of Mercer to keep proper records). Curiously, McGovern says that the meeting was all about alleged planning issues involving "Block B" following "complaints". How this is known when the Council specifically say no records were kept remains, at present, a mystery.

But Mr McGovern states that the law does not permit the Council to take any action where the change of use happened over 4 years ago. He alleges that the Council does not know when Sahota changed the use but that it was "clearly" over 4 years ago. Whether it was over 4 years before 2017 is currently unknown.

Despite the law - and the conspiracy of silence by some Councillors (if not officers) - allowing Sahota to get away with this, he has applied for a "Lawful Development Certificate" to give retrospective legality to this con, which McGovern is granting on the nod - apparently because he had no legal power to do anything else.

Part Three: St Paul's Court

In 2013 Sahota - via one of his companies - applied for permission to convert a large former religious building to flats. This is only a couple of hundred yards further up Brunswick Park Road from "Block A". The residents were up in arms about this but "Labour Councillors" indicated their firm support for the project. A Labour Party source says that two of those Councillors were Costigan and Peter Hughes. The planning application was resubmitted in 2014 following pre-application advice from the aforementioned Christine Phillips. Nick Bubalo - our old "friend" - was head of planning at this time.

Despite local opposition the matter was approved at a Planning Committee meeting on 25th September, 2014. Please remember the date. The interesting points were that Pam Hughes voted for the development and Peter Hughes turned up as an observer at the meeting. More particularly, Costigan was on the Committee and declared a "non-pecuniary interest" stating that she had been lobbied by Sahota and by the residents. Nevertheless, she did not leave the room when the application came up, and participated in the debate AND voted. What we can tell from this is that Costigan - apart from displaying a cavalier disregard for the rules - was in communication with Sahota prior to September, 2014.

In 2016 Sahota applied for planning permission to convert the basement of the property into two more flats (nice!) and this was quickly approved by Nick Bubalo using his delegated authority. For some peculiar reason I cannot download Bubalo's "delegated report" from the SMBC website? (DC/16/59870)

As with other Sahota projects, planning problems arose. At the rear of the premises was a "storage building". Local residents told the Council that people were living in the building. It is alleged by locals they were told that people using the building were, in fact, builders working on the Kartar Drive bungalows (see below).

Sahota himself claims that he changed the use of the building without planning permission on 13th December, 2021. For once he says he did not get pre-application advice from the bent Labour Council but something prompted him to belatedly apply for planning permission on 16th February, 2022 (although, strangely, a later document says the date of the application was 9th March, 2022). By now local residents were at war with Sahota but the unnamed officer who visited the site, and recommended that retrospective permission be given, claimed that the further development had been advertised "by way of letter to locals" and no complaints were raised. Having met several locals I find this incredible, but there we are! Curiously, although Sahota was using an agent on the planning application he specifically requested that any site visit be arranged with himself and not the agent. Clearly he was well known to many planning officers and perhaps he just wanted to deal with old friends?

On the basis of the officer's site visit report Tony McGovern provided retrospective planning consent very swiftly on 22nd April, 2022 using his delegated authority.

Part Four - Kartar Drive

In a post dated 3rd July, 2022 I explained that bent Labour sold land off James Watt Drive to Sahota. It appears that he bought the land in early November, 2016 but I have not yet been able to ascertain when the relevant Council Committee agreed to sell the land to him. It appears (and this currently remains unconfirmed) that he only paid £20,000 for the plot.

I am asking the Council again (and the Commissioners) to supply the full details. Around this time Cllrs Gavan, Costigan and Peter Hughes were all on the Committee and I have also asked them directly if they have any recollection of this disposal. I will let you know if and when they reply.

Local allege (and this is specifically denied by Mr Sahota) that he set about clearing the site of old garages etc., which contained asbestos. They claim that he did not follow any proper procedures and got rid of the material by attempting to burn it on a bonfire. The locals complained to the Council, the Health and Safety Executive, Uncle Tom Cobleigh and all, but no-one in "authority" could be arsed to investigate this.

As ever, in 2017 Sahota received planning advice from Ms Phillips of SMBC. After a false start he filed a further application in 2018 ... A meeting was arranged pre-application to be attended by, er, Cllr Peter Hughes. Why? It has come to light that the meeting was specifically to be held at Sahota's Office "in Brunswick Park Apartments" - the very building where, as above, Councillors were aware that he had unlawfully changed the use of the building without planning permission!

The local residents in the small area local to all these developments protested volubly including with a 27-signature petition, but were ignored by Labour Councillors. The planning permission for five residences on the cheap plot was given on 25th April, 2018. As with a number of meetings, Costigan failed to turn-up but Pam Hughes was one of those approving the permission. She did not declare any interest.

Contrary to the planning permission and, once again, Sahota did his own thing. Following further protests from locals he was obliged - again - to apply for retrospective planning permission. On 7th April, 2021 Labour again approved the permission and, yet again, Pam Hughes approved the retrospective application and did not declare any interest.

When the bungalows were built Mr and Mrs Hughes duly rented one from Sahota. Pam Hughes was no longer a Councillor but, with the connivance of Sandwell's controversial Monitoring Officer, Surjit Tour, Zorro concealed this fact in his Register of Interests entry.

Hughes says that he has no responsibility for the decisions of his wife at the Planning meetings - ROFLMAO!

Part Five - Burns Night, 2015

Now the story takes a further extraordinary twist. Remember that we now know that Costigan was having dealings with Sahota since, at least, 2014. In January 2015 the local Labour Party decided to hold a Burns Night event in Wednesbury. One source says that Peter Hughes organised the event. Another says the master of ceremonies was foul-mouthed Glaswegian, Billy "Alka Seltzer" Gavan. In any event, a decision was made to invite Costigan and Hughes's pal Satnam Sahota. This is, of course, before Labour sold him the building plot which is now Kartar Drive and when some Councillors knew about his unlawful change of use of "Block A".

I wrote to the poisonous Hughes about the event:

"THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION - PRESS ENQUIRY

I am informed, rightly or wrongly, that you organised a Burns Night event for WBW CLP in January, 2015 - possibly at a venue called "WS10". Further, you issued an invitation to Satnam Sahota who duly attended the function.

Please confirm that this is all true or, alternatively, state what is correct in the above and what is incorrect."

He has chosen not to respond. I also wrote to Costigan:

"Email from me to Costigan 29/03/23

THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION

You attended a WBWCLP event in January, 2015 - possibly for Burns Night - with Satnam Sahota and then tried to tap him up for campaign donations.

What was the event? Did you know Sahota before the event and, if so, how,? Did he make any donations to you and, if so, how much?"

This is her astonishing reply:

"Email from Costigan to me 29/03/23

I do remember this I wasn’t aware he was even there I had no dealings with this event whatsoever so no idea who was there. I just turned up with Tony Meehan.

If I remember we sat next to Olwen and Ian Jones not sure if they might know.

(Tap him up lol not heard that before how funny.)"

Note especially, "I wasn't aware he was even there ..."

Which is rather strange as this is an email she sent to Sahota on 28th January, 2015 (with her spelling mistakes) where she does indeed try to "tap him up":

And the man himself replied on 28th February,2015, signing off with, "Love, Satnam" and promising his support:

I have written to Costigan asking if she did receive campaign donations from Sahota but for once she is keeping her big mouth shut.

A Prima facie case now?

I am reaching the full extent of my investigatory powers. It is inconceivable that bent Labour Sandwell will do anything and, indeed, Surjit Tour is currently trying to block an investigation into Hughes's dealings with Sahota, and his deliberate concealment of his address. Unfortunately, the Commissioners cannot be trusted to do anything either.

This is a matter for West Midlands Police who can interview people under caution, establish who arranged the land sale to Sahota, find out what really went on with the planning applications (noting that they were passed in the teeth of local opposition) and establish whether Sahota has given money to the local Labour Party or to individual Councillors. What do you think folks?

In this stinkingly corrupt Labour Council the moronic f*ckwit Peter Hughes has been made the Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Growth. How about that folks?

Skidder Victory in Starmer Crony, Imogen Walker, Payments Saga!

Hurrah! A rare win via the Information Commissioner for The Skidder! Regular readers will know that for some months I have been trying to flush out details of Kim Bromley Derry's bent appointment of Imogen Walker as "Head of the Leader's Office". (The full story is set out in the posts linked below*.)

The story so far ...

Corrupt Sandwell Labour Council decided that (then) Leader [sic] Rajbir Singh was not up to snuff and needed a crony of Labour Leader, Keir "Sir Woodenarse" Starmer, to wipe his arse when required. Kim Bromley Derry ("KBD" - then Interim Chief Executive) rigged the appointment of Imogen Walker to the post despite the fact that she publicly states that she lives hundreds of miles from the Labour sh*thole in Lanarkshire, Scotland (posts passim and see legal notice below). KBD kept NO records whatsoever of the appointment and did not even record the purported use of his "delegated authority" to create the new non-job for a Labour Party crony.

Of course, the nursemaid was not much use to Singh - aka "The Boy Blunder" - as he duly soiled himself anyway, and did an infamous "moonlight flit" from the Council. Incredibly Labour then selected Kerrie "Dim Kez" Carmichael as the new "leader". It was rapidly appreciated that Kez is too thick for the job and that she too needed a taxpayer-funded helper. Thus Walker is still raking the dosh in for this sh*tshow (unless she has left very recently).

KBD kindly arranged for Walker to be paid as an independent contractor rather than as an employee - which usually means that darling Imo will pay less tax than PAYE oiks. As he kept no records no-one knows why! Socialism in action folks! I duly made a Freedom of Information (FOIA) Request to find out what the f*** was going on.

From a legal point of view SMBC has to disclose all payments to contractors over £500 in a monthly list (although Sandwell employees are so crap this is always published tardily. At the time of writing they have not yet produced the February 2023 list, let alone the March one!) But, incredibly, Surjit Tour's Legal Department did not include the payments to Walker on the monthly list and claimed - via the FOIA request - that SMBC didn't need to do so as the payments constituted Walker's "personal data"! WTF?

I have a small legal fighting fund in place and so I departed from the FOIA process and wrote a legal "protocol" letter to the bent Labour Council threatening a judicial review. Tour caved-in and supplied the figures for pay but then refused to submit details of Walker's expenses! Again these payments were said to be confidential personal data and, further, that some of the expenses claims were "under £500".

This I referred to the Information Commissioner (IC) pointing out the public interest in taxpayers knowing how much they were paying for someone in Scotland to provide alleged "services" to Dim Kez in the English Midlands. Further - many other Councils disclose such payments either automatically or when the cumulative total exceeded £500. I also pointed out that Labour Sandwell is mired in corruption and that it must not be give the green light to rig contracts e.g., by making "expenses" payments of £499 a month to their associates so as to hide these sums from public view.

For once the IC sided with me and not their bent pals, and ordered bent Labour to supply details of all expenses paid to Walker INCLUDING those under £500.

The Payments

In a blog last December I pointed out that Walker had been paid invoices in the sum of £72,268.90 over 12 months for this "interim" position. She has been paid at least £6,200 since (as above, Sandwell staff are incapable of publishing the lists in a timely manner so there may be more).

In addition to the agreed rate, KBD also agreed that the Scottish resident could claim expenses and SMBC have coughed up the figures in accordance with IC order:

What is interesting is that Walker does not feel it necessary to visit sh*thole Sandwell very often. When she does the taxpayer has to pay for her accommodation because she lives so far away!

The Tories silent on Walker

Obviously bent Labour have screwed the taxpayer for over £80k - so far - for a Labour Party crony, but the strange thing has been the total silence from the Conservative councillors on this heap of excrement. I duly wrote to the Tory leader, Cllr Dave Fisher, for the Group's take on this:

It is unfortunate that this is close to the election but I need a quote from you on the following as the final piece of the jigsaw in the Imogen Walker saga fell into place last night and I will be writing about it on Sunday.

For the record the Conservative Group have not TO MY KNOWLEDGE done a single thing about any of the following issues:

1 Kim Bromley Derry was appointed as Interim Chief Executive (ICE) following a rigged process;

2 Kim Bromley Derry as ICE rigged the appointment of Keir Starmer crony, Imogen Walker, as Head of the Leader's Office. He kept no records whatsoever of the rigged process and failed to even record the purported use of his delegated authority in creating the new sinecure;

3 Unless the situation has changed recently, Walker is STILL employed by SMBC on an "interim basis" at considerable cost to taxpayers.

In respect of items one and two above, not only have you/The Conservative Group totally failed to protest these matters and ensured that appropriate action be taken against KBD but, instead, you personally publicly lauded KBD's supposed achievements as ICE in a public Council meeting. Why, when the only thing he most certainly can be said to have done is run rings around The Conservative Group?

In respect of item three may I take it from the total silence of you/The Group that (a) you approve of the way in which the appointment of Starmer's crony was rigged, (b) you agree that the newly-created position (done on an interim basis to avoid proper process) is necessary and a sensible use of taxpayers' money, and (c) that Sandwell Conservatives are happy to see the post continue as an "interim" one into the future and that Ms Walker should continue to hold the expensive position (as an independent contractor rather than as an employee)?

Please respond - if you wish to do so - by noon on Sunday."

BREAKING RUMOUR - Bent Sandwell Labour Council Buys Union Official's House! (And More!)

The sickeningly close relationship between deeply-corrupt Sandwell Labour Council (aka "Sadders") and various trade unions appears to have taken a new twist as the Council appears to have bought the house of Sandwell Council employee and Unite the Union rep, Matt Law! You will be glad to know that YOU pay for Law's full-time union work at SMBC via Facility Time.

Thanks, as ever, for the tip from an informant. Having just returned from holiday I have undertaken a search at HM Land Registry which indeed shows that bent Labour bought the employee/Union rep's house for a stated figure of £188,000 on 29th June, 2022. As Law was on the electoral register there until 2021 it appears that the purchase was direct from him.

If this is true, it's very nice to see the Government Commissioners - currently supposed to be in charge of the corrupt Council - making sure that "the Labour family" continues to look after its own!

Addendum - it appears that Law and another may have bought the house via "Right to Buy" as there was an agreement of 2020 between SMBC & Law (and another). Then it appears SMBC has kindly bought the house back two years later.

Rollins loses voice

While local morons live in a poverty ghetto the exodus of Labour Councillors seemingly continues. Let's face it - who would want to live in the Labour sh*thole bar people who can't get out to somewhere more pleasant?

Former Labour leader "Red" Yvonne Davies (currently suspended by the Labour Party for allegedly antisemitic tweets) shuffled off to her near half-million pound Herefordshire dacha whilst still a Councillor. A hearty advocate for the destruction of the lovely green space at the former Brandhall Golf Course she has bought a home (pictured) so surrounded by extensive woodland it is difficult to actually see it. Alright for some!

On a brighter note the poisonous Cllr "Inane" Elaine Costigan has moved out of ghastly Wednesbury to the Staffordshire countryside where she flaunts her enjoyment of her son's wealth. That's one of the vilest Councillors on the way out, but there are still plenty left ...

Now mystery surrounds the current residence of West Brom Central Councillor, Laura (F*ck the Lamprey") Rollins (not suspended by the Labour Party despite what were widely perceived as antisemitic tweets!) Several sources say La Rollins (pictured left with a laughing Cllr Elizabeth Giles at, er, a Remembrance Day event) has sensibly got away from the Labour cesspit whilst continuing to preach to local scum how fortunate they are to live in the Labour paradise lol!

It is said that Rollins is running the social media output for the Sandwell Labour Dictatorship but, whether this is true or not, she appears to have lost her ability to communicate in other ways. Here's an email I sent to her on 16th February, 2023:

Coombe Ride With Me

Darryl Magher has been an indefatigable community activist in Sandwell and does heaps of work which often goes largely unrecognised. Whilst I do not share some of his general political views (and vice versa) we seldom disagree on local issues, but the topic of the 45 bus is one such.

Many of you will know that Diamond Buses plan to axe the 45 bus service from Walsall to West Brom which also serves the Yew Tree. Darryl has been campaigning hard - including detailed correspondence with Diamond - to save the service.

The Sandwell Skidder Scum Counter* shows there are 8,455 morons in the midden that is Great Barr with Yew Tree ward who prefer to accept the appalling status quo and continue to support local Labour corruption. These people don't want to do anything to improve their communities or improve things for future generations and so why should their miasma of misery be spread around the Borough via Diamond buses? Last year local scum decided they preferred to be represented by a useless, ineffective criminal, Melia. These are not "normal" people and should be shunned and isolated from the rest of wo/mankind. As it is, and despite 49 years of Labour control, the local residents haven't got a pot to p*ss in, and can't even scrape together bus fares to pay for travel. Diamond is not a charity and can't be expected to ferry the economically-inactive around whilst losing money themselves.

On the same subject anyone local who uses social media will have noticed that in lots of Labour propaganda photos there is someone up from London called Sarah Coombes. She is a hotshot lawyer in the Capital who, inter alia, advertises that she works with the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan (another Labour politician who has done much to wreck the transport system on his manor!) What is this clearly intelligent person doing rubbing shoulders with shoulders with retards in local Labour?

It is said that she is - still unofficially - the next Labour parliamentary candidate for one of the West Brom seats which may explain why this person from 110 miles away started a petition to, er, save the 45 bus! WTF? Does she even know where the Yew Tree is?

It seems that she is being pushed as a candidate by the odious GMB Union - one of whose officers was alleged to have raped a female Labour MP!

At the last election the absurd Gammon, Jeremy Corbyn, parachuted the hapless Ibrahim "Bogus" Dogus (pictured with Red Yvonne) into the contest for West Bromwich East which the money-smuggler and sleazebag duly lost. Labour better hope that lightning doesn't strike twice lol!

Clearly Labour can't find a local candidate with enough brain cells to fight West Brom seats. But then Skidder readers will already know that!

SKIDDER NEWSFLASH - Lion Farm/Stone Cross Fraud Latest

The other day, thanks to an informant, I established that at precisely the same time Labour Sandwell Council were agreeing a bizarre and bent deal with a property developer, Jeremy Knight Adams, for him to get the sole rights to destroy the massive green space at Lion Farm Fields, the corrupt Council was also flogging him the old Stone Cross Neighbourhood Office.

My recent post is a very important read. The contents have been forwarded to the Government Commissioners currently running Sandwell because of Labour's multitude of failures, and to West Midlands Police:

The Commissioners have yet to furnish me with details of the Stone Cross deal, but I have seen a couple of documents which I will describe below.

It is important to note that there is a pattern (what old lawyers called “badges of fraud”) in the dodgy transfers the likes of Cllrs Eling, Hussain, Hackett and Moore were pushing through the Council at this period (although they apparently deny any wrongdoing - on the Lion Farm Fraud and Rouf/Hussain related transactions anyway). I will give each issue an “number”.

Firstly, the public was excluded from the meeting (1). Secondly, the details of the transaction were heavily redacted (and, in the case of Labour’s bent Lion Farm deal, deliberately concealed by a misleading description of the site) (2). Thirdly, the deals were to be done with only one interested party - all others having been excluded for no good reason - or there were other alleged "bidders" who were, in fact, connected with the eventual purchaser. (3). Fourthly, the land was to be sold either at an undervalue (which is usually unlawful for a Council unless certain special exemptions apply) or, alternatively, there was to be a rigged sealed bid process overseen by the former (and later disgraced) Head of Regeneration, Nick Bubalo (4). Fifthly, the deal was to be tied up legally by Bubalo and Neeraj Sharma - the Head of Legal (also later disgraced) (5).

And what do we have here? The Asset Management and Land Disposal Committee met on 20th June, 2012 - at the same time Labour twisters were trying to screw Lion Farm. Ex-Cllr Hussain was chairing, Cllrs Squealing Eling, Corrupt Liar Simon Hackett, Ian Jones (later subjected to a vicious vendetta by Eling and others), and Derek Rowley (the disgraced former Mayor involved in a scandal selling SMBC-owned portakabins - and other issues).

The public were excluded from the meeting (1).

The bent Labour Council had already done a private deal with Jeremy Knight Adams via a Company wholly owned by him and his wife. It APPEARS that the site was NOT advertised to the world at large but only to other departments of the corrupt Council! WTF? The details were redacted so that the public were unaware that Shite Adams was involved (2):

The scum running this bent deal then tried to give a cloak of legality to a bent deal with a favoured third party. They hint that the site may be sold at an undervalue (3):

The deal was left to be tied up by Bubalo (4) and then signed off by him and Sharma (5). This is straight out of the bent Labour Sandwell playbook!

On 11th July, 2012 the Cabinet received the minutes from the Land Disposal Committee and went into private session. The Cabinet had, by then, agreed the bent Lion Farm deal with Shite Adams. This time those present were Cllrs Cooper (the now deceased wife-beater), Badham, “Sp*nk Brother” Eling, Hussain, Ian Jones, Hackett and Moore (the latter having played a large part in the proposal for Adams to destroy Lion Farm Fields).

Almost immediately, Shite Adams applied for planning permission to demolish the old Council building although he used a different Company name on that application, Hampton Properties, rather than the one used in the actual site purchase. Clever that!

I am sure there is plenty more to come on this one but I am calling on the Conservative MP’s and Councillors as a matter of urgency to ensure that this matter is properly investigated, this time around, by the Bent Blues.

Corbyn Mega-Rimmer, Piper, Shafts "The Poor" - and more ...

I have said it before, but I will say it again. Since becoming involved in Sandwell Council I have met some of the vilest people I have ever met in my 64 years. Cooper, Eling, Moore, Gavan, Hackett, and Billa immediately spring to mind to name just a few plus, of course, Cllr Bob "Seig Heil" Piper (the soubriquet arising from the time when he was Chair of the Licensing Committee but walked into a crowded pub and shouted "Seig Heil" whilst giving a "Nazi" salute).

What is particularly nasty about the wealthy Piper is his snide way of going about things. He cannot walk past me, for example, without making a dig about my weight (except he has never tried it when he has bumped into me in pubs - I wonder why not?) Like most cowards he is a stab-in-the-back merchant.

This moron sees himself as some sort of intellectual and a fully paid-up member of the Brahmin Left, like many of the other pathetic Bullsh*tting, Bourgeois, Berghaus Bolshies in Harborne North (aka Bearwood). The fact is that he is incapable of critical thinking as he is a slavish adherent of every crackpot leftist/Marxist/socialist ideology or concept going. Small wonder then that he was one of the biggest local rimmers of the imbecilic, Jerry "Jeremy" Corbyn. Every utterance of the dimwitted Islington Gammon had Piper ejaculating with, er, delight! This, I'm afraid, shows the "smallness" of the man.

Sh*thole Sandwell is the fourth poorest area in the Country after FORTY-NINE years of Labour dictatorship. This Smear has been a Councillor since 1999 (WTF? - Ed) - going on for 24 years of shocking Sandwell decay and decline. In that period bent Sandwell Labour has become synonymous with corruption, cronyism and incompetence - such that the benighted Borough (including ghastly Bearwood) has been placed into Government Special Measures - at a cost to us taxpayers of at least £2 million. Did Piper speak out at any time about what was going on. No Bearwood, he did not.

If this is not all worrying enough, it is said that Piper, as Deputy Leader, is effectively running the Council as "Leader" Kerrie "Dim Kez" Carmichael is so thick (and, as we have seen in this blog, a liar to boot - Skidders passim and see legal notice below).

Time and time again this blog and the likes of local community activist, Darryl Magher, have warned Sandwell that local Labour Councillors are too venal and vacuous to even read Council papers, let alone to understand them. I am indebted to Darryl - who was at the actual meeting - and to "Sandwell Corruption" (Twitter: @CorruptSandwell and on Facebook, YouTube etc.) for bringing this to my attention.

On the agenda at the February Cabinet meeting was an item about the 2023-24 Local Welfare Provision (LWP). As Labour have spent nearly half a century grinding Sandwell into the ground so the need to grab money from workers to pay for those forced into grinding poverty. The LWP is a scheme to tax money from workers and to provide "vulnerable residents" with subsistence and financial support. As these discretionary payments are not made by Labour Councillors themselves the Sandwell scheme offered LWP payments even where applicants had savings of £16,000.

I am afraid you simply have to see the video placed on YouTube by Sandwell Corruption where it is plain for all to see that the idiotic Piper thought he was INCREASING the savings threshold but, alas, neither he nor Dim Kez had bothered to read the Council's own reports on this. The incompetent Bearwood buffoon thought that there was a mistake in the papers and sought help from the Head of Finance, Simone Hines. In fact, to the astonishment of Bob and Dim Kez THEY were reducing the savings threshold to £3,000 and thus shafting anyone with savings between £3 - £16k. They did not know THEIR own policy lol! On one hand this is comedy gold, but on the other hand it is sickening that Labour are shafting the very people they "claim" to care about. Here's the Link:

Again, we have warned you not just about corruption but the sheer incompetence of these venomous halfwits!

Death and Taxes

As I have pointed out previously, Sandwell folk may live in a sh*thole Labour poverty ghetto but at least they have the consolation (!? - Ed) that their life expectancy is poorer than most places and so they are statistically likelier to depart the hellhole sooner than people living outside it.

Male life expectancy (from bent Sandwell's own figures) is 76.9 years against 78.9 years for the West Mids and a stonking 79.8 years nationally.

Women's life expectancy is 81.1 in the sh*thole compared with 82.7 years regionally and 83.2 years nationally.

The downside of this good (!? - Ed) news is that the statistics also show that residents of the Black Country's Socialist Paradise will suffer additional years of poor health before they die than elsewhere. Still, it's what people seem to want after 49 years of the same. Or perhaps not as Sadders has a higher suicide rate that regionally and nationally.

As Labour ramp up all local taxes, screw the poor (see above), raise parking and other charges, and introduce a new green bin tax to extract even more money from you, Carmichael has stated - wait for it - an "ambition" that:

"Sandwell is a place where we live healthy lives and live them for longer".

Why the f**k wasn't this an ambition for this Scum over the last 49 years????

John Spellar - he's a xxxx ain't he?

Regular readers will know that I have been highlighting some of the bizarre questions the greedy little Gnome of Bromley has been asking in Parliament to make it look as if he is actually doing SOMETHING for his dosh and foreign jaunts. Spellar lives in Sarf London, but purports to represent Sandwell's Warley constituency. The only Labour MP left in Sandwell - the fourth poorest area in the Country - Spellar has been asking loads of ridiculous questions lately - most of which have f*** all to do with Sadders.

Presumably he is claiming expenses for staff and researchers but, whoever these jokers are, they are apparently incapable of doing Google searches. This is one of his latest efforts lol:

Has The Gnome been nibbling at the magic Toadstools?

Right-winger Spellar masquerades as some sort of "socialist" and, like many of that ilk, he is an economic imbecile (except, of course, when it comes to personally enriching himself). Thus The Gnome is constantly banging on about various form of "protectionism" - the simplistic, and long-discredited, economic theory that domestic industry will thrive if international free trade is stopped or diminished by tariffs and other legal barriers (a policy also much favoured by Donald J Trump). It was a crap idea, as Ricardo pointed out two hundred years ago, and remains one now.

But this greaser has been banging the populist drum in Parliament in favour of protectionism although, curiously, he appears to have been silent on the proposed move by gambling behemoth, Flutter, to set-up a secondary listing on the New York Stock Exchange, with the choice of abandoning its London listing altogether and moving its primary listing to the Big Apple in due course.

Two people have done more harm to sh*thole Sandwell in recent years than most - former fatman and MP, Tom Watson (now back on the gravy train thanks to Keir Starmer, Lord Twatson), and Spellar himself. Will they be demanding that Flutter remains listed in London? If the bookies move Stateside will they clamour for legal barriers harming Flutter's businesses here. It seems unlikely as Twatson is a paid "Adviser" to "Flutter UK and Ireland", and one of three recent luxury jollies enjoyed by The Gnome - a trip to an England International at Wembley worth an astonishing £1,961 - was paid for by "Power Leisure Bookmakers Limited" (better known as Paddy Power), a subsidiary of,er, Flutter.

Careless Liberals

Many of you are probably unaware that the Liberal Democrats claim to have a presence in Sandwell. To date they have been studiously indifferent to the shocking conduct of the bent Labour Council and, to an outsider, seem content to allow the failed Dictatorship to continue their dismal record of failure beyond their 49th anniversary.

There sole reason for existence seems to be to attack the Tories despite the fact that it is Labour which has been in total control of the sh*thole Borough - the 4th poorest in the Country - for half a century! But recently, they turned their attentions to myself and local community activist, Darryl Magher.

A tweet from Sandwell Lib Dems appeared to seriously defame the two of us by suggesting that we had been involved in criminal and wrongful activity in Oldbury. We could not allow this damaging and inaccurate smear to be left uncorrected, and consulted m'learned friends.

Happily the matter has, with the assistance of the national Party, been resolved. We have been assured by Mark Smith, the local Lib Dem supremo and the author of the offending Tweet, that the unfortunate wording was accidental and that the intention was to convey a different meaning.

Accordingly, Darryl and I have accepted this signed apology from Sandwell Lib Dems:

BREAKING NEWS - BENT SANDWELL LABOUR'S "OTHER DEAL" WITH PROPERTY DEVELOPER

I don’t know how we all missed this one! It now transpires that at exactly the same time bent Labour Sandwell Council were doing the corrupt deal to sell Lion Farm Fields (a colossal 19 ha green space) to Jeremy Knight Adams (a major Tory donor) they were also flogging him the old Council offices at Stone Cross!

The bent Lion Farm Deal - the early story

2004 - the son of former labour Councillor Mahboob Hussain - Azeem Hafeez, an employee of SMBC eventually working directly in the “regeneration” Department (also responsible for Planning) under Nick Bubalo - bought The Rickshaw Restaurant in Dudley adjacent to Mahboob’s taxi firm for £85,000. At some point Jeremy Knight Adams decided he wanted to redevelop the whole site which brought him into contact with Cllr Hussain. On a date unknown, Mahboob Hussain agreed to “introduce” Knight Adams to corrupt Sandwell Council. Needless to say this was not declared or recorded in any way.

2012 - Knight Adams paid Hussain’s son £470,000 for the Rickshaw Restaurant - a massive profit for the humble Council employee (who left and now runs most of Sandwell’s SEND transport via a multi-million pound Labour contract).

2012 - At around this time a senior Councillor told me - on condition of anonymity - that Cllr Hussain walked him around Lion Farm Fields and tried to persuade him that it would be a good thing to destroy the Fields and build a shopping centre there.

15th August 2012 - Bent Labour started a series of secret meetings with Knight Adams. This may not have been the first of those meetings but this one was attended by Darren Cooper (the now-dead bully, wife-beater, and Labour “leader”), Mahboob Hussain, now disgraced former Chief Executive Jan Britton, and disgraced Head of the Regeneration Department, Nick Bubalo. This quartet deliberately chose not to keep any records of these secret meetings (of which there were at least two).

19th December, 2012 - At a meeting of the Land Disposal meeting on this date a secret agenda item under the deliberately misleading title “Junction 2 Development” the Committee decided to grant Jeremy Knight Adams an exclusive option to purchase the entire site. The only two Councillors who bothered to attend the meeting were Hussain and the deeply corrupt liar (Skidders passim ad nauseum and see Legal Notice below) Cllr Simon Hackett (who, incredibly, is back in the bent Council’s Cabinet). Cllr Hussain failed to declare any interest in this matter nor his connections with Knight Adams. Had he done so the Committee would not have been quorate and Hackett could not have approved the Option agreement on his own. As it was, there was a detailed agenda of 8 items which these two got through in just 7 minutes - yes SEVEN minutes. One of the other agenda items was an approval of the sale of the former Coroner’s office at Crocketts Lane, Smethwick - which, happily, was later bought at a very reasonable price by Cllr Hussain’s son, the aforesaid Azeem Hafeez!

13th January, 2013 - The bent Labour Sandwell including disgraced former Leader Steve “Squealing” Eling, the corrupt Hackett again, and Paul Moore (who did so much to try and force this bent effort through later on) approved the corrupt deal. These jokers got though a very heavy agenda in just 2 minutes - YES TWO MINUTES. When the minutes of both of these meetings were published they were very heavily redacted so that the public had no idea that the Option related to Lion Farm Fields. This, of course, was absolutely deliberate by Labour.

21st May, 2013 - without putting this huge green space up for public sale bent Labour gave Knight Adams an exclusive option to buy Lion Farm Fields and, astonishingly, he STILL has that option 10 years later thanks to yet more Labour corruption detailed elsewhere in The Skidder. The current Leader [sic] Kerrie “Dim Kez” Carmichael has been heavily involved in the continuing plan to destroy the Fields and continues to try to force the bent deal through. She has now managed to get her own mother selected as the Labour candidate in Langley at the May elections to help f*ck the locals over.

Before the “Breaking News” I will just mention two things. All of the above was reported to corrupt West Midlands Police at the time of the Regional Fraud Team investigation but the Bent Blues failed to investigate. WMP wrote this to me on 9th July, 2018:

“I can state in 2015 West Midlands Police were aware of Cllr Mahboob Hussain’s association to the developer for the Lion Farm Estate [sic] but this matter fell outside the remit of the Regional Fraud team investigation.”

WTF????? What does this even mean. And I have been asking WMP FOR years which Officer(s) agreed the “remit” and why? There has been a cover-up here, pure and simple.

Interestingly, The Wragge Report raised questions about the legality of the bent Option and even queries whether there had been contravention of the Bribery Act. Bizarrely, at Mahboob Hussain’s High Court legal action bent Sandwell itself was keen to inform the Judge that Wragge’s had exceeded their remit (yes, that word again) in even referring to this matter. Again WTF? This was raised in the Cox Review which Dim Kez and Grant Thornton (supposedly bent Sandwell’s “independent auditors”) have been fighting to keep secret from you! Once again - a monumental cover-up going on here. Although Eling, Britton and others were desperate to nail Hussain they didn’t want THIS affair discussed at all.

Many moons ago the mainstream media were - as now - on their knees rimming Sandwell Labour at every opportunity, and it was down to The Skidder team and this blog to EXCLUSIVELY Report on deals involving the Hussain family, including Azeem Hafeez. While the local TV and media did f all the Skidder broke the Boggate, Lodge Street and Crocketts Lane scandals. One interesting feature of the Hussain family property dealings at this time was that they invariably used an agent in their planning matters, one Anthony Hope. Now read on …

BREAKING NEWS - FORMER SMBC OFFICES, STONE CROSS

When bent Labour set up a new computer system they deleted many of the old records from online viewing. This includes the minutes of the Land Disposal Committee before 2015. (I wrote to Kim Bromley Derry the errant former Interim Chief Exec and currently the Lead Government Commissioner at bent Sandwell and thought that the old records were to be restored, but that has not happened.)

Until we can see the actual minutes (and I have written to the Commissioners about this today) I cannot be totally sure but believe the Committee declared the site of their own neighbourhood office at Clifford Lane, Stone Cross in the summer of 2012. This would have been at exactly the same time Hussain was “introducing Knight Adams” to SMBC and the secret Lion Farm meetings were being organised. Subject to seeing the minutes it is likely that Cllr Hussain was on the Committee, along with corrupt liar Hackett, Derbyshire-resident Eling (who institutionalised corruption at bent Sandwell and was forced out in disgrace), and Derek Rowley, who this blog disclosed was involved in the sale of Council property via one of his mate’s on Facebook. [Stop press - this matter was definitely before the Land Disposal Committee on 20th June, 2012 when Eling, Hackett, Hussain and Rowley were in attendance. Many thanks to X for the info.]

What I can tell you from official Land Registry records is that just 3 days after Eling, Hackett, Moore and others agreed the bent Lion Farm Option to Knight Adams they sold him (via one of his Companies) the former Council Offices at Stone Cross for a modest £170,000 (£300k less than he paid for the derelict Rickshaw Restaurant). The Land Registry title MM15217 shows that on 16th January, 2013 SMBC sold the land to Alpha (Stonecross) Limited (owned by Mr and Mrs Knight Adams).

Planning documents show that Knight Adams (and another) applied for planning permission for 13 houses on the site in 2018 which was granted subject to conditions. He received “pre-application advice from SMBC staff” - indeed the same person involved in the Sahotaville affair.

The agent for that planning application was a Birmingham architect.

In 2021 Knight Adams applied - under the name Bowerbird Homes - to discharge the conditions from the 2018 planning consent. Now he has a new agent - none other that our old friend Anthony Hope! Yet another one of those amazing Sandwell coincidences!

I am writing to the Commissioners and to West Midlands Police again, but there must be an urgent investigation into all this. At the precise time Labour were (secretly) pulling the bent deal on Lion Farm they were flogging the same bloke the old Council offices. In particular, the sale of the Stone Cross site was left to the later disgraced Nick Bubalo - at a time when he was personally in other secret, unminuted meetings, with Knight Adams. The legal work was then to be handled by also disgraced Solicitor Neeraj Sharma. You can read the Wragge Report to see what this pair were up to …
