Breaking News - Watson Tries To Save Squealer!

Yesterday the former "leader" of bent Labour Sandwell Council, Steve "Squealing" Eling was due to face the NEC of the Labour Party on his disciplinary charges.

Watson was trying to stop a full hearing of Eling's alleged misdemeanours. The plan is to apply for a judicial review so that the Sp*nk Brother can stand again in Abbey Ward in the May elections. Had there been a finding against Eling yesterday it is highly unlikely that he could have mounted a legal challenge in time. Watson has tried to put a spanner in the works so that Eling can apply for a judicial review - which does not mean that there will be a full hearing on his alleged wicked behaviour but just a hearing on whether Labour have dealt with him "fairly".

Eling (who has a second home in Derbyshire - owned by his wife - and works in Rotherham) is about as pleasant as a bout of diarrhea but he's not gone yet!

You might think Watson would have better things to do with the current political crisis but, unlike the majority of his constituents, he is an arch-remainer. This from 2016:
