My apologies for the late publication of the 2019 Skidder Quiz which has been delayed due to my being a bit crook for a while. I also wanted to get some paper copies out onto the canine excrement -smeared streets of Sadders this week (more will be distributed next Monday and Tuesday.)

1 SMBC settle Internal Audit Tribunal case; Preet Kaur Gill refuses to release redacted emails; “Missing” tractor story finally becomes public? Answer: September (I have court action going to force Gill MP's emails into the public domain as she still won't respond voluntarily.)
2 The Sandwell Slasher finally out of Cabinet; Famous video catches Dave Hosell losing it completely outside OCH; Jim Cadman finally gets his sh*t statue payday! Answer: May (SMBC have still not properly answered a Freedom of Information request on the statue fiasco.)
3 Squealing Eling finally forced from Leadership; Nonentity Steve “Luvvie” Trow elected Leader; Multistory refuse to disclose nominees etc of “award” winners. Answer: February (and the Squealer is still out in the cold....)
4 Yvonne Davies’s coronation; Deputy Leader Syeda Khatun ousted; SMBC settle High Court action regarding Skidder’s unlawful exclusion from council meeting. Answer: July (Yvonne clings on with the Elinites plotting another coup under the unlikely leadership of Billa!)
5 Cllr Bob Piper escapes prosecution for Nazi jibes; The Squealer suspended from the Labour Party; The Skidder acquitted in “c*cksucker” trial. Answer: January (more on two parts of this question coming in the Skidder real soon folks!)
6 Email surfaces of GMB using SMBC servers to solicit funds for “Inane” Elaine Costigan; Friends of Brunswick Park exposed for failure to file accounts; Network Rail announce planning application for Bescot submitted during holiday period. Answer: August (local residents played a blinder to defeat Network Rail in round one but may face further battles. Solidarity comrades!)
7 “Dangerous” Xmas Lights event at Blackheath; Scumbag MP Tom Watson runs away; New WBE Labour candidate Bogus Dogus exposed in tax evasion scandal. Answer: November (Incredibly the vile Watson, who did so much harm to Sandwell and West Brom, has been nominated for a peerage!)
8 The Knights/Sh*tes of Wednesbury refuse to identify themselves or provide accounts; Mohammad Rouf found guilty of three standards breaches; Twatson fails to save suspended Squealer at Labour NEC. Answer: March (and still the "Shites" are unidentified and no accounts are in the public domain.)
9 Skidder blog hits one and a half million views; “Homeless” Union Rep gets two-bedroom Wednesbury flat; immediately; Suspended secretaries Tribunal hearing starts (and goes part-heard). Answer: October (the secretaries have done a deal with Yvonne Davies and David Stevens to stymie the investigation into the management involved in this disastrous debacle. The hearing has concluded and a decision is awaited. Clue - it's not looking good for Darren Carter!)
10 Jan Britton, head of the bent paid service, defenestrated; Eling sends WhatsApp messages to Caz White to undermine Labour; Watson rimmer Cllr Paul “The Cipher” Moore gets new job (!) and leaves Cabinet. Answer: June (happily less than three months until the ludicrous Caz White becomes "ex-Cllr White".)
11 Labour (including Jackie Taylor) vote to blow multi-millions of our money on Commonwealth Games paddling pool; Three opposition parties unite against the proposed destruction of Lion Farm Fields; Crazed Dave Hosell calls Yvonne Davies a “lid [sic] mouthed gutter wench” “lol”! Answer: April (pathetic whining Dave has had his Twitter account taken down for abusive conduct but they have let him simply open a new-one in his own name. But Dave is the gift that keeps on giving and claims he is intending to stand for the Council as an independent in May - which should be great for a laugh!)
Addendum - December, 2019. A Tory Tsunami swept away Labour in WBW and WBE...... Can they wash the rest of the scum away?
2020?
Given the extraordinary events of recent times it would be a brave person who predicts what will happen in Sadders this year! Labour are running scared of the Tories, candidates are already jockeying for the WBE Labour candidacy (including, so it is said, an old friend of this blog) and there should (in theory) be a clear-out of Labour dead wood in the selection process for the May elections (with the absurd "Zorro" already "at risk").
The Elingites and some senior staff continue to try and undermine Leader Yvonne Davies and I hope she will have the chance to continue to shine a light into dark corners. She has lightened the mood in much of the Council after the darkness of the Eling "bunker" period.
I will risk two predictions. Firstly, 2020 is the year the colossal cover-up of matters relating to Cllr Simon Hackett will be blown apart and the truth finally revealed! Fingers crossed folks!
Secondly, the GMB Union will fail in its attempt to close this blog down. The small team who help me - immensely - with this blog and a large number of readers are adamant that the Union thugs will NOT stifle free speech in Sandwell and that we will not submit to their tactics. If I am still alive and kicking as the clock ticks into 2021 this blog WILL still be going - that I can promise you!
