Sandwell's Anonymous "Business Ambassadors"
This blog has been assiduous in exposing the hatred of Sandwell Labour for business/commerce/entreprise. The comrades claim to hate capitalism (although always grasp any monies coming their way) and regularly abuse business people whilst wondering why no-one wants to talk to them about providing jobs in the sh*thole Borough.
If you run a business in Sandwell, Labour think you are "greedy scum" and if you employ people you are not helping folk earn a living but "exploiting" them.
People like Cllr Red Yvonne Davies who have worked all their lives in the "third sector" earning a good screw via government and other grants think "the state" should run everything as in Soviet Russia or Mao's China. The cost will be met by seizing your property and soaking "the rich". Hopefully the Red Guard won't immediately confiscate Red's own nearly half a million pound dacha hidden from view by verdant growth in leafy Herefordshire.
This blog has mocked the comrades as each year they have to, by law, hold a budget meeting for business ratepayers. Back in the days of Dickhead Daz two grovellers from the local Chamber of Commerce turned up once but then, until last year, no-one at all bothered to appear (which is surprising as we shall see).
In hilarious scenes last year a sole "businessman" was proudly paraded into a room at the Oldbury Kremlin surrounded by a phalanx of moronic "socialists". But these jokers couldn't even get that right and it turned out that the sole guest did not, in fact, pay business rates!!!!
This year Labour are desperate for someone, anyone, to attend and are even pushing the meeting on Twitter - so if you want to face people who hate you and have never run a whelk stall themselves please trot along so that Labour can fellate you and pretend publically before the election that they actually give a toss about wealth creation and jobs.
The absence of anyone at these pathetic events is all the more surprising since, in 2016, the comrades set up a website and marketing for the "Sandwell Business Ambassadors". Even they can't be arsed to attend the pointless charade. Who the f*** are they you may well ask? Well here they are (details from current webpage) and I have divided them between people who appear to actually run businesses and those in talk-shop sinecures:

We have seen time and time again that any supposedly "independent" organisations somehow connected to the bent Labour Council are highly secretive and unaccountable. You may live in what is supposed to be a democracy in Sadders but you are scum and should keep your beaks out.
Hang on a mo. Mr Taylor has pointed out that all the above-named are volunteers and are not "funded". They give their time freely for the greater good of the benighted Borough. OK you may say, that's good and it is The Skidder who should keep his beak out. But as always with the deeply corrupt Council nothing is ever quite as it seems. And Taylor let the cat out of the bag by saying that one of the aims of the "ambassadors" is to somehow "support the Council" and to provide feedback to it.
Their group is pictured on the website with one notable omission since Mr Taylor states that "Sandwell Council has representation on the group - this is the Director of Regeneration of Growth" ie the hapless Alison Knight of the"Shi*te Knight Report" and other infamy until she was recently shown the door!
OK says I, us taxpayers were paying the dismal Knight oodles of dosh and so we should know what she is up to with this group at our expense. In went a Freedom of Information Request and, for the most part, this was immediately blocked. David Stevens has prevented a response on the basis it would cost too much! And so even when the Council are talking to businesses the plebs are not allowed to know (remember that voters!)
As ever, it gets worse. Labour won't tell you what is going on but between July, 2016 and March, 2020 they splurged £109,563 of OUR money so that the well-heeled volunteers could have, I sh*t ye not, "a brand and logo, design and maintenance of a website, associated social media plus marketing, press and communications".
Labour boast that after 46 years in charge in Sandwell there are kids literally starving on the streets and people with excrement smeared around their arses as they have no lavatory paper yet they have spent £109k on a group you have never heard of (until I told you here for free). And you are prevented from knowing what they are up to! And heaven knows how much they spend on the Ferrero Rocher!
Paddling Pool
Naturally the Commonwealth Games paddling pool (on a greenfield site) is way over budget with the original £15m suggested by Labour already £73m and rising in dirtpoor Sadders. There is still no news on what will happen to the other two pools which will be closed when the new one opens in a very inconvenient location (and one of the buildings is listed). Now a Sandwell Council apparatchik called Chris Jones has taken to Heart Midlands News as an election approaches and laughably claimed to journo Melissa Hancock that the multi-million pound turd will not cost Sandwell ANY money to operate or maintain! You couldn't make it up - er, well yes you could in Labour Sandwell! Here's Chris's load of balls in full:
“So that’s been a key concern for the Council as well Melissa, we didn’t want to build a building which was going to cost the Local Authority long term so when we’ve developed the facility mix its always had an eye on as well not only delivering what our residents want in terms of the facilities but also making sure they were sustainable long term. As you know there’s two older facilities in the Smethwick area which the building will be replacing which are - they aren’t cheap to run at all and this building has been designed in such a way and with the relevant business models developed to make sure that long term it doesn’t cost Sandwell Council or Sandwell residents any money to operate. We’re really confident that will be the case - that takes into account the operation and the maintenance of the building as well so in the long term we can keep the new aquatic centre in a really good condition so it can do what we all want it to do for Sandwell and Sandwell residents and residents of for the West Midlands as well.”

It is incredible that this slimeball is still pulling strings in the local Labour Party. He did immense damage to Sandwell and some of his grotesque rimmers are still on the Council - Simon "The Sandwell Slasher" Hackett, Paul "The Cipher" Moore, "Inane" Elaine Costigan and last but definitely not least Billy "Coward of the County" Gavan (who left Labour and tried to join the Tories but with great good sense they rejected his advances lol!)
