Hurrah (?) - Sandwell Labour's No. 1 (For Another Failure!)

THEY HAVE ONLY GONE AND DONE IT!

A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO THE SANDWELL LABOUR DICTATORSHIP GOT TO NUMBER ONE - THE PLACE WITH THE WORST COVID INFECTION RATES IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY!

AND THERE'S EVEN MORE COVID FAILURE:

In a recent post I mentioned that Labour Sandwell had got to second-spot in the whole country for Covid infections despite setting up its own "track and trace" system, which current Labour Leader Maria Crompton described to me as being "far better" than the Government one.

Based on their "brilliant" system these bullsh*tting morons boasted how well they were doing and this notorious headline was published last August by their friends at the Wolvo-C*suckers (aka The Express and Star):

But even if the track and trace system is as good as claimed (probably unlikely noting the poor delivery of most projects by the bent Borough) I questioned whether it was having much effect - particularly as folk were out and about in large numbers all round Sadders. And there was a clear campaign from all wings of the Council suggesting that opening schools was "unsafe" so that, before Christmas, Sandwell also hit the top spot in the whole country for having the WORST school attendance figures with a stonking 63% absent.

[David Stevens, the Chief Executive, has now sent me a legal letter and "requested" that I keep the contents "confidential". I cannot say more at this stage save that he is attempting to gag me from writing and telling you about the response of the paid service to the Covid crisis.]

Recently, to quote local journo James Rodger of the Birmingham Mail:

"The Black Country borough has topped the charts with 1,698 new cases recorded in the seven days to January 31 - the equivalent of 517.0 cases per 100,000 people",

We should not be surprised that after 46 years of failure, Labour have put the sh*thole Borough in the news again - for all the wrong reasons. Oh, and by the way, they voted to put the Council Tax up AGAIN this week putting more pressure on hard-up local folk.

Meanwhile, Labour nationally have been running a massive campaign saying that people cannot self-isolate when they should because they are "too poor". And Sandwell is itself very poor after nearly half a century of decline under the comrades so that you would expect Labour to have been at the forefront of the effort to provide financial support for those self-isolating ...

But have a wild guess at the which Council is the subject on this newspaper headline from the E&S:

"LESS THAN ONE IN SIX TEST AND TRACE SUPPORT PAYMENTS APPROVED IN ?"

YES FOLKS - IT'S "SOCIALIST" SANDWELL!

This is the scheme for the employed and self-employed who are told to self-isolate but cannot work from home - exactly the people Labour claim to be championing (although they actually hate the self-employed).

Whilst Stevens is using taxpayers' money to try and silence the free press his paid service has managed to process just 16% of payments for desperate people (CIPD figures). Of 1,492 applications Dave's staff had processed just 232 claims, a figure local Conservative MP Shaun Bailey has quite properly called "disgraceful"! Perhaps a better reallocation of resources Mr Stevens?

Bogus Dogus

I keep teasing you with promises of a "new-look, new-improved Skidder" and hang-on in there folks as it is coming! This will include some live and recorded video footage from the mean dog-shit smeared streets of Sadders. 

In the past I have not made much use of video although the David Hosell film ("Hosell Loses It - Big Time") is, of course, a not-to-be-missed classic. Such as there is can be found on YouTube under the title: terminustrading 

I was just looking at the YouTube stuff a day or so ago and was surprised that my film, "Show Us Your Socks Ibrahim Dogus!" (link below) of the hapless Labour Candidate for West Brom East at the last general election, Ibrahim "Bogus" Dogus, has had a whopping 4,900 views! It would be nice to get to 5k folks ...

Dogus, a "personal friend" of Jeremy Corbyn, was parachuted into WBE from London when Twatson p*ssed his pants and ran away. Curiously "Bogus" is maintaining links with the constituency by having companies donate food and bog-rolls to the Labour poor. OK it's just rumour - and may be wrong - but Labour sources keep whispering to The Skidder that he is on the way out and that a local candidate will be selected to take on the industrious new MP, Nicola Richards (a breath of fresh air after the stupendous laziness of Watson). Another legal matter David Stevens wants to keep secret due to the longest ongoing "investigation" in history is the saga of Cllr Simon "The Sandwell Slasher" Hackett and his blabbing of confidential information about a child (see blogs passim ad nauseum and legal notice below).

I will be writing more on this very soon but for the benefit of new readers - of which I am pleased to say there are many - Hackett attended a "political meeting" when in charge of Sandwell's absolutely disastrous Children's Services and disclosed the confidential info. Melanie Dudley (blogs passim) was then acting as Monitoring Officer and found Hackett to have breached the Councillors' Code of Conduct. Then Leader Steve "Squealing" Eling ordered Mel to alter the report to find Hackett "innocent" and she bravely refused. With Jan Britton's (the disgraced former Chief Executive's) connivance she was forced out with a colossal, confidential, pay-off. The day after she officially left, Solicitors working for SMBC sought new evidence claiming that this was a "data breach" enquiry. And lo, Hackett was then found to be "innocent". 

But the child and his mother then brought a claim against Sandwell for the very obvious data breach. I can't comment on an ongoing case save to report that there is a procedural hearing listed this week at Birmingham County Court. David Stevens has admitted liability on behalf of the Council but a new Standards Investigation into Hackett has still not been completed! This has been going on for years but Hackett and his allies hope that it will continue to move at glacial pace until the May election (or stopped earlier due to pre-election "purdah") when he and the Labour rebels will take back control of the bent Council and stop the investigation! Mystery surrounds why it is taking the current Monitoing Officer, Surjit Tour, so long to complete the incredibly simple and straightforward enquiry!
